The white Mayback u see the back door of the hotel. Since the couple would not going in to the ballroom yet, they had to wait in a lounge.
The other Two headed inside ahead of them.
Cheng Yinan was nervous and Lu Muchen could see it.
" Nervous " Lu Muchen asked. Cheng Yinan nodded. " Don't worry I am too " he said making Cheng Yinan's eye widen. He is Lu Muchen, he is supposed to be burning with confidence.
" This is a once in a lifetime thing every normal human will be nervous " he explained himself. Cheng Yinan nodded in understanding.
In the ballroom, the guest had started to arrive. The Families of the couple were already there. Mu Ze and Yang Ruoxi were at the entrance receiving the guest.
" Mu Ze " they heard from behind them. It was Lu Muchen's mother Zheng Mian.
" Hi Aunt " Mu Ze greeted we the a smile on his face. Lu Muchen's mother treated him like her own son. He also loves her like his own mother. " Come and give me a hug I've missed you " Zheng Mian said opening his arm.
Mu Ze proceeded and gave her hug.
" Oh Aunt I've missed you too especially your food " Mu Ze said excitedly.
" Glutton " Yang Ruoxi muttered to herself.
Zheng Mian then noticed the lady behind Mu Ze. " Is that your date " she asked smiling at Yang Ruoxi. " uhhh..this is Yang Ruoxi sister in-law's best friend " Mu Ze introduced.
" oh..Nice meeting you my dear " Zheng Mian gave her a light hug. " Same here Aunt " Yang Ruoxi said politely.
" It almost time let get the couple of the day " Zheng Mian said walking away.
Zheng Mian entered the lounge in which the couple were in. She grasp as she lay her eyes on Cheng Yinan. Cheng Yinan wasn't dressed extravagantly but simple. She simply looked stunning. Her attire did not scream ' wealth ' but she managed to flow in a simple traditional Qipao.
" Oh my dear you look stunning " she said pacing around Cheng Yinan. Cheng Yinan blushed. " Thank you Aunt " she said with her head slightly bowed. Zheng Mian glanced at her son who was looking at Cheng Yinan with a smile on his face. " You look good too my son " she said to catch his attention. " of course mother as always " he boasted.
" It about time let get going " Zheng Mian said signalling them to follow her.
The ballroom was bustling with guests. Cheng Yuxi had the limelight for that time since the main leads were not there yet.
She was wearing expensive clothes and jewelry. Heavy makeup would never be left out. She was enjoying the limelight since she was famous for her acting skills.
The doors of the ballroom opened and the couple entered. The couple were like angels that had dropped from heaven. Lu Muchen looked so elegant with his tux and his jet black hair swept sideways. Cheng Yinan also looked very beautiful.
Grasps could be heard as they made their way into the room.
Cheng Yinan who lost the limelight when the couple came was now struggling to hold her smile. Cheng Yinan was glowing she knew that but would never admit it.
' Wait and see what mother has for you today ' she thought to herself as a sinister smile began to bloom on her lips.
