As the first light of dawn spread across the horizon, Drystan and Alex set out in search of the nearest jetty under Eric's orders.
The rest of the men remained at camp, awaiting their return. They had already been briefed on the revised route and the change in transportation, as decided by the commander.
After a restful night, Anna stepped out of the tent to join the knights for breakfast.
With Kyren by her side, the two approached the group and took their seats by the campfire, waiting for the meal to be served. The knights bowed in greeting as the couple arrived.
"Good morning, my lady," Ayden greeted.
"Good morning, Ayden. The weather seems pleasant today," Anna replied with a soft smile.
"It does," the assistant healer agreed. "How are you feeling this morning?"
"Much better, thank you."
