Jinah was restless. Seeing that huge hole appearing in the sky and Haru disappearing from her side, meant only one thing.
The final battle has begun.
She knows everything about the Monarchs and Rulers and has been told about the upcoming situation by her lover. And despite being aware of how strong Haru is—given she is the only person who knows Haru's origin—she is still quite nervous about this whole situation.
This was the final battle, the final push from the enemy side to defeat her Oppa and Haru. Naturally, they would go all out in this war.
"You shouldn't stress yourself this much, Jinah. Haru will take care of everything." Hearing her mother's words, Jinah softly nodded with a smile.
However, in a corner of her mind, this constant fear never stopped gnawing at her.

Jin-Woo couldn't believe his eyes. Under the feet of the Absolute One stood the teenager who was keeping the being away.
Jin-Woo was doing his best to evacuate everyone as soon as he could. The massive army of shadows he possesses is devoted to the job of hunting the monsters and taking the civilians to safety.
The number of monsters easily exceeded any horde of monsters they have faced until now. Having the Monarchs on their side, all of them alive no less, allowed them to collect these many troops.
'But it isn't enough…we need more….' Jin-Woo appeared before the numerous bodies of monsters piled up in the middle of the street and found the familiar face of Choi Jong-In standing there.
"Hunter Sung!" He exclaimed, finding the violet-eyed young man appearing out of nowhere.
"Please go and take care of the other side," Jin-Woo stated as he raised his hand and instantly took the dead monsters under his domain—changing their origin and loyalty toward the Monarch of Death.
Choi Jong-In immediately responded to the call and gestured toward his guild members to get moving.
From the corner of his eyes, Jin-Woo caught the familiar figure of Cha Hae-In approaching him, urging Jin-Woo to turn towards her.
"You came after all…" Jin-Woo told her that if something like this happened, it would be better if she remained away from the battlefield. Well, the protective boyfriend side of his was talking at that moment but he knew she wouldn't listen.
And as he thought….
"You can't keep a hunter away from the battleground." She firmly said, her eyes flaring with determination.
Jin-Woo sighed before he fed her a few potions for mana and stamina recovery.
It wasn't the first time for the blond huntress to experience it. That's why she didn't feel surprised…but the kiss that followed the potion was surely surprising.
Their kiss didn't last for long before Jin-Woo gave a light peck on her head and whispered, "Take care,"
"You too." Not so long after, a blushing Cha Hae-In made her way towards the rest of the team and Jin-Woo returned to his duty to rescue the people.
Weaving through the hordes of monsters he cleaved every being that came in his way. The Shadow Monarch was restless, slicing and exterminating the monsters at a neck-breaking pace.
The monsters he killed were turned into his shadows almost instantly, increasing the workforce, and more civilians were being taken away.
At some point, Jin-Woo had to dodge an ice lance advancing toward him before he noticed the presence of his fellow Monarchs.
"As I thought, it's impossible to impale you from this far~" The silver-haired elf grinned as he, along with three other monarchs, stood atop a building.
"So the rat finally decided to come out of its hole?" Jin-Woo taunted, as he twirled his flaming red dagger in his hand.
The Monarch of the Beast growled, "A mouse is better than a snake who betrays his kind."
Jin-Woo raised his brows, "Did you weaklings consider me one of your kind? Laughable."
The Beast Monarch roared, and contrary to his attitude until now, he lunged at Jin-Woo with his form shifting.
From the left side, a whole pack of massive ants approached, and from his right, ice lances pierced through the air, approaching Jin-Woo with the sole intention of killing him.
Jin-Woo smirked, his confidence sending a bad premonition.
From the Monarch's left, the sharp sound of metal tore through the ice lances. The infamous Knight Igrit easily shredded the attack meant to harm his liege.
On the right, a piercing screech echoed as all the demonic ants were slaughtered in an instant. Their bodies and heads split open, leaving gaping holes—the brutal work of the Ant King.
As for the King of Beasts… Before he even thought of retreating, he felt a chilling emptiness where his chest had been.
*Dhak*
The Monarch landed with a heavy thud, now standing exactly where Jin-Woo had been.
Blood poured down his chest, and as his eyes rolled up, the Monarch's life slipped away within seconds.
Monarch of Frost instantly launched himself in action, swinging the ice lance he held, directing it toward Jin-Woo's neck.
*CLANG*
The attack was easily parried before the Monarch of Frost's vision shifted…more like his body remained standing but his eyes neared the surface
*Thud*
Not more than a minute had passed and two Monarchs were dead.
Turning towards the rest of the two, Jin-Woo asked, "Tell me where the remaining Ruler is, and I will grant you a chance to run."
The response was a hiss before the Queen of Insects released several long centipedes in Jin-Woo's direction, aiming to blind him. However, like he was dealing with some newbie hunters, Jin-Woo easily dodged those attacks, and again, a Monarch's head was rolling on the ground.
The remaining Monarch, Tarnak, looked pale as he raised his hands and uttered, "I will tell you where that winged pigeon is, but let me go."
Jin-Woo urged, "Start talking."
With a gulp, the Monarch of Iron body revealed, "Using the essence extracted from the Cup of Reincarnation…" Jin-Woo's eyes narrowed, as he heard something that made his mind numb,
"He is about to reset this world once again."
