It has been over three months since that incident. The huge gate was no longer hovering over Seoul and the daily appearance of Gates also decreased with time.
The rate at which people were awakening mana also dwindled with time, and no one had a single clue why such a thing was happening.
However, Haru knew the answer to that.
They needed a huge amount of mana to make the rebirth of Absolute One possible. As such, the Monarchs were possibly using their forces to feed the process, and as such, the gates were appearing less these days.
The current news, across the globe, expressed their view;
[The number of Gates appearing across the globe has significantly lessened over time. The damage control has less work these days, and the guilds have started organizing competitions amongst hunters to keep their employees working and it has become a great source of income for the citizens as well.]

And most of those views were negative, stating that this peace was the silence before the storm. But what storm could be more devastating than that Gate against which Hunter Sung Jin-Woo rescued us?]

Cha Hae-In shut off the TV and heaved a sigh.
Are we ready to face what is to come?
Around Hae-In there are two immortal beings who are definitely stronger than every hunter living on earth altogether. However, for some reason, this silence was keeping her on edge.
Most of the time these few weeks, Jin-Woo had been occupied with his training and adapting his new skills and that thing in his chest which he calls 'Black Heart'.
That's why she couldn't meet him and have a proper chat.
"I should engage in some daily hunt..." Deciding that she might end up bothering her boyfriend with her needless worries(?), she decided to go to the guild and ask for a raid; even a low-grade one would work for her.
Donning a white jacket and wearing a baseball cap, she opened her door—only to find Jinah standing there with her hand raised towards the doorbell.
"J-Jinah?" Hae-In was surprised since she didn't sense the girl coming up here—however, she soon realised the reason.
"Hello unnie! Going out?" Jinah asked, feeling a little complicated if she should really barge in and ask for help?
Meeting the girl so many times has enabled Hae-In to know what she needs and when she hesitates to say something. And currently, there was something on Jinah's mind that she wanted to discuss with her.
"Nothing urgent. Why don't you come inside and I make something hot and sweet for you?"
Jinah smiled sheepishly before accepting the offer, "Then I would take you up on that offer."
The two ladies entered the house which Hae-In owns, and soon Cha Hae-In entered the kitchen while Jinah sat on the dining table just outside the kitchen to have a conversation with her unnie.
"So? What did you want to talk about?" Cha Hae-In asked as she began to prepare caramel macchiato.
Jinah hesitated for a bit, however, the recent discussion she had with Cha Hae-In was far more embarrassing, so she didn't hold back,
"Unnie...what should I do about this?" Jinah asked as she lifted her shirt a little and revealed the slight bump on her belly.
Hae-In heaved a sigh before turning around and explicitly telling the girl, "You are now committing a mistake, Jinah."
Jinah's eyes drew down on the table as she heard her senior continuing, "If Haru had been hesitating at this point, then I would have scolded him as well. But you, whose parents are so supportive and caring, are hesitating from telling about your baby?"
Jinah exhaled a long sigh before telling her, "I am unsure about Oppa...that he might react negatively."
Hae-In's shoulders dropped as she approached the young girl who looked extremely fragile right now. Hae-In didn't know if Haru knew about her dilemma or not, but the blond was sure that if he heard about it, he would immediately announce it to the world about Jinah's pregnancy.
Sitting beside her, Hae-In rested her hand over hers before asking her, "Should I talk to your Oppa about this?"
Jinah slowly raised her eyes before asking her, "Will that work? What if Oppa becomes more furious that I didn't tell him directly?"
Hae-In chuckled, "Why are you fearing him so much? Jin-Woo might be slightly old-fashioned when it comes to some specific things, but he could never reject his sister's child just because she isn't married."
Hae-In knew that it was the pregnancy mood swings that were making her so nervous; however, prolonging this news anymore seemed to be a bad idea.
Jinah remained contemplative for a moment, before she decided, "Okay...but let me come with you. You talk to Oppa, and based on his reaction, I will either escape or face him."
The way she fidgeted in her seat and looked anxious was adorable in Hae-In's eyes, as she couldn't help but pinch Jinah's cheeks.
"Ehh?" Jinah couldn't understand the sudden gesture but before she could have asked anything, Hae-In got up from the seat and urged the girl.
"Come now, let's go."
Jinah took several deep breathes before she lowered her shirt and got up beside her unnie.
Hae-In took out the runestone her boyfriend gave her to reach him.
Hae-In held Jinah's hand before applying mana to the stone and in the next instance, their figure disappeared from the living area.
"Ah!" As the brightness before their eyes cleared up, and Jinah saw the void in front of them, she couldn't help but feel surprised.
Inside the void, only two people were present; Haru and Jin-Woo. But what surprised Jinah and Hae-In was Haru's current position.
He was currently sitting in seiza while Jin-Woo stood there with his arms crossed on his chest and a stern look on his face.
Jinah glanced at Hae-In and took a strong gulp before she uttered, "I-I think the cat is already out of the bag."
Hae-In nodded as she glanced at her lover before urging the girl, "Let's go. Your unnie is with you, so don't worry."

A/N:- Damn...Haru and Jinah getting scolded? Well, they deserved it, given it's already three months.
I don't know how you guys feel about the main couple having a baby but since I want to give them a happy ending, a baby during the marriage would be perfect.
