After a moment of hesitation, Nidia looked at him with dull eyes as she whispered, "Yes. I'll be leaving next week."
After she was done applying the medication for him, Nidia hugged him from behind. Leaning her face onto his uninjured shoulder, she mumbled, "Two months. That's all."
She could not hear his answer nor see his expression from her angle. After a pause, she continued, "I promise to come back every week. I've figured out I can choose to take online classes for the latter part of the course. I won't need to continue staying in Imperial City. Hubby, I know what you're worried about. You're worried that something like this will happen again, and you're worried that you can't rush to me as quickly as possible if you're not with me."
