As I was drunk, I had no idea how much had passed, but when I excused myself and finally took a moment to sit down, I quickly counted everyone, only to eventually nod with a faint smirk; everyone I invited was present; there was even a few extra people, though I was too drunk to currently care how then got in.
"Heh, am I drunk enough now, Mother?" Asked Elif curiously with a drowsy expression as he looked at Illumia, who flashed a faint smile before nodding.
"Yes. Yes, you are." Replied Illumia softly as she looked at Elif, who flashed a smile before downing his tenth cup.
Getting a burst of energy from the alcohol, I stood up and clapped my hands, expelling a gentle wave of Qi with each clap as I quickly got everyone's attention.
"Speak, Prince Elif!" Yelled Goliath loudly with a drunken expression as he downed a cup of alcohol while looking at Elif, his words causing everyone to chant his name.
"Prine Elif! Prince Elif! Prince Elif!" Stated everyone loudly as they cheered in excitement while looking at Elif, who smirked before clearing his throat, causing everyone to swiftly quiet down.
Grabbing another cup, I swept my eyes through the room before faintly smirking.
"I apologize for ruining the moment, but I would just like to take a moment to further embarrass and mock my fellow 'peers'. I'm sure most of you have already heard not a single person has dared to step in and stop me from doing as I please, so I would appreciate it if everyone could now refer to me as the undisputed leader of this generation." Stated Elif lightly with a faint smile as he walked through the room while glancing at the numerous people, who all nodded in agreement.
"Haha, those stupid Immortal Empires, Sects, and Clans are cowardly! Even when Prince Elif causes a ruckus, they stay hidden within the safety of their homes! I've lost any respect I had for them!" Declared Birger with a smirk as he spat on the ground before nodding to Elif, who flashed a faint smile.
"Yes! They're shameless bastards who have no semblance of pride, respect, or self-dignity! They've tarnished their Immortal Hegemony! Matter of fact, they should create a whole new tier above an Immortal, as it's disrespectful that the Elven Empire is grouped with such pathetic hegemonies." Stated Volia, daughter of the patriarch of the Ancient Eyeless clan and current heir, passionately as she slammed her cup onto the table while looking at everyone with a firm gaze.
"I couldn't agree with you anymore, Volia! Prince Elif has already solidified himself as the leader of this generation, and nothing those fools do will change it! Even if they were to attack him immediately and defeat him, it's too late!" Said Goliath with a grin as he looked at Volia, who flashed a smile while glancing at Elif, who calmly walked around the edge of the room near the windows.
"Pah! Are you crazy, Goliath!? Even if they defeat him, it'll only further boost Prince Elif's reputation!" Asked Diana as she eyed Goliath before shaking her head, while he erupted into laughter and nodded in agreement.
"Haha, that is my mistake; I apologize; I didn't think that far ahead!" Said Goliath with laughter as he raised his arms in the air while Diana nodded with a huff.
I merely served to act as the catalyst to start the conversation, and now, even without me speaking, they were mocking and demeaning the six Immortal Hegemonies; of course, there were plenty of people trying to kiss my butt, ironically, both literally and metaphorically, but I currently didn't bother with those who praised me in hopes of getting on my good side, I simply wanted them to continue talking down on the six Immortal Hegemonies. As for the people literally trying to kiss my butt, Mother gave them a stern warning, though I did notice she was behaving much softer than usual.
'Wait a second…' Thought Elif with a slight frown as he stopped and looked at Illumia in confusion.
'... When did Mother get here?' Thought Elif in confusion as he tilted his head while looking at Illumia, whom he had mistaken for Maria, given his intoxicated state.
Anyway, shaking my head, I walked towards the window, where I could see roughly half of Bubble-Dome City, and I couldn't help but smirk as I looked at the carriages belonging to the Immortal Golem Empire and Immortal Beast Sect roaming through the city, heading directly for Oceans Galore.
Why were they seemingly heading for us? Well, I had Illumia, wherever she was, create formations that amplified sound, and just before I began speaking, I activated them, causing everyone's voices within this dining room to echo throughout the city.
Such actions would've been dangerous if only one or two people spoke badly about the Immortal Hegemonies, as they could easily deal with them; however, dealing with every Ancient and Divine Hegemony? While theoretically, it may be possible, realistically, it's not, so they had nothing to fear, though I'm sure a few unlucky ones will be used to make an example out of them, though that was if they had the luxury to worry about someone other than me.
"Ah, P-Prince Elif, I-I'd like to apologize for our past; I-I hope we can still end on friendly terms." Said Hayat softly with an intoxicated expression as he stumbled toward Elif while his fiery blue hair danced about.
"Hehe, of course, water under the bridge; I'd just like a minor favor if you don't mind." Said Elif with a faint smile as he looked at Hayat, who sipped from his cup before lightly nodding.
"A-As long as it's n-not unreasonable; I-I'm sure w-we can come to some sort of a-arrangements." Said Hayat with a nod and a faint smile as he looked at Elif before turning around and stumbling away, only for him to collapse onto the ground.
Chuckling in amusement, I glanced at Mother, who had returned to my side and spent the next few minutes listening as everyone chanted profanities at the Immortal Hegemonies, a sight that caused me to grin as this party was performing better than I expected.
However, while everyone was chanting, eating, and enjoying themselves, a few were even sparring, the doors were suddenly blasted open, causing everyone to quiet down as all eyes were drawn to the room entrance, where two women stood. One was an incredibly beautiful Golem, much thinner than most, and her figure resembled that of a woman rather than the typical blocky appearance of most golems; she was made out of a special kind of crystal that warded my divine sense, making her practically invisible to me.
As for the woman beside her, it was Baihu in her demi-human form, which I did admit was rather stunning, though her thin tail didn't spur my interest.
'It's probably not even that soft.' Thought Elif lightly as he looked at Baihu's tail before shifting his gaze to Kurama's tails.
Anyways, as Baihu and Valquen entered the room with less-than-friendly expressions, everyone backed away while shifting their gazes between the two and I, which was fine; I wasn't expecting them to stand up for me, not against them of all people.
"Elif… Explain yourself." Stated Valquen solemnly with a surprisingly soft, feminine voice as she stepped towards Elif while flicking her finger, obliterating the table and whatever food was on it.
"My drink." Muttered Goliath with a sad expression as he shed a single tear while Birger gently patted his shoulder.
"Explain? Me? Why should I, when it's been rather obvious what I've been doing recently; unless, of course, you're an idiotic fool, which wouldn't surprise me, I wouldn't take a hunk of crystal to be intelligent." Asked Elif with a raised eyebrow as he stood up while slowly stumbling towards the duo, causing Valquen's expression to harden.
"Um, I know what you're doing, Elif, but honestly, I'd prefer to stay home and sleep." Said Baihu lightly as she yawned before looking at Elif, earning a glare from Valquen.
"Oh, if we're being honest, then I have nothing against you two; as a matter of fact, I rather appreciate how calm and quiet you are, Baihu. Unfortunately, we were destined to be enemies; besides, I'm also quite upset, thanks to a certain Demon." Stated Elif with a small smile as he looked between Valquen and Baihu, only to softly shake his head while anger flashed through his eyes before vanishing.
"So you don't intend to take what you've said back?" Asked Baihu with furrowed brows as she looked at Elif, who raised an eyebrow while flashing a smirk.
"Ho, I didn't say much." "That may be the case, but since you're the host of this part, you must take responsibility for your guest's actions and words." Remarked Elif and Baihu, respectively, as the former smirked while the latter nodded and swept her eyes throughout the room before eyeing him.
Just as I was about to respond, I sensed three powerful presences along with a much weaker third one, causing me to grin as I knew who those three were, and considering who the two were in front of me, it was apparent who the fourth person was.
'Hehe, six vs one, just like I've always wanted.' Thought Elif with a wicked grin.
