Joe's POV
"We must fix things with our mate!" Jay-Jay stated and I agreed, "We will, she seems to be trusting us so far!" I say as Jay-Jay growls lowly, "Not the Lycan Mate, Our real fated mate Meranda!" I shake my head as I scoff at Jay-Jay.
"Don't even disrespect Rosalie that way, Meranda isn't our chosen mate and you know that Jay, your just mad because you can't command her like you do Meranda!"
"Maybe so..but when you rejected Meranda twice it hurt me just as much as it hurt Mera..." He stated.
"Hah, you said you felt like you were going to vanish from existence when Rosalie was no where to be found!"
During our heated discussion a bright light appeared infront of us and I bor my neck in submission.
"My child, are you being stubborn now that I have granted your wish for your fated mate, one whom you have been in love with and felt a mate bond with since childhood?"
"She is not my fated mate" he states.
"My child I can clear things up for you, Meranda is not your fated mate, she was to be a distraction for you...however if you want an Omega rather than a lycan then I can not deny you of what you desire." the Moon goddess stated looking at us wearily.
"I want Rosalie, he also wants her but he is being stubborn. We have loved her since childhood and now that we have her he won't accept her fully."
"Then since his desicion is to reject her I shall remove the mate bond so she may find another who is appreciative of her and her brave Lycan."
My chest tightens as her words crash into me, I begin to sob as I could not disobey the desicion of the moon goddess, I was grateful and happy that Rosalie was my chosen mate but Jay-Jay was more fond of Mera rather than Rosalie's Lycan. She watches my actions as she smiles, "Well seems as my children are at odds, your chosen mate will be Rosalie and your fated mate will be Meranda, however if Rosalie accepts you as her chosen mate in 3 days time then she will be your chosen mate and you Jay will have to accept her just as her Lycan has accepted you already!"
"Her lycan hates me! She would never accept me!" he states as he whimpers.
"Then she will be your fated mate and Meranda will have no mate bond to you. As punishment for being ungrateful you will learn to love Rose just as much as you love Rosalie, she will serve you well and will protect you with her life once she accepts you...I'll give you 2 months once they time is up the mate bond will be revoked and you will not be fated mates." the moon goddess says before she vanishes. My body is trembling with rage as I begin to tear apart my room shredding the bedding and the mattress, I break the glass windows and sliding door.
"All because you had to be stubborn! We will loose her forever Jay-Jay if you don't learn to accept Rose!" I say, he hums in response and says nothing more. I feel my anger rising as he is silent and not even willing to explain why he doesn't accept Rose but loved Rosalie, even if we aren't fated mates I was going to mark her and force her to be mine because I want to be with her for the rest of my life.
"If she marks us back...we will become lycan Joe...she will change us and we won't be who we are now." Jay-Jay finally states. I begin to calm down and realize that if we become lycan our bloodline would end with me and would not be continued in order to continue her bloodline. What was worse was, I knew nothing about Lycan's or where they came from let alone caring for a lycan pup.
I begin to realize that there is a lot on the line, was it worth it to become a lycan just to keep Rosalie by my side? Would Jay-Jay still be my wolf? Or would he be different and a lot more difficult to handle than he is right now? So many questions ones I didn't have a definite answer to which made me more uneasy at how selfish I was for not thinking of what will happen to Jay-Jay if he and I were to be turned to a lycan just by one bite.
The Next Morning...
Rosalie POV
Joe seemed to be okay with us however Rose was silent as she didn't explain why she was disgusted by Jay-Jay exploring our body last night, infact she didn't speak after that happened. Rose was usually talkative as she was not someone who would be intimidated easily however she didn't like the questions I asked her when we got back to our room and wasn't present when I spoke to her.
"Good Morning Luna!" Vix stated as he smiled and walked up to me, I smiled in return as I watched him approach me, "You really don't have to call me that, I don't really feel like a Luna and if I'm being honest I don't know if I want to be Joe's Luna...I know nothing of Lycanthrop history so I'm afraid to accept him and have something horrible happen to him since we aren't the same." I state.
"You need not worry yourself so much with something that may never happen, the only way you can ever harm him is if you allow the bond to die. One thing I do know, you won't change him if you use your canines to mark him without transitioning so if you both are worried about that then you should know that it won't happen." Vix stated.
"interesting..." Rose stated to me but said nothing more, which concerned me, I smile at vix as I hum in reply walking to the dining room as we continued to chat about what should happen next if I do accept Joe as my mate.
"He hid from us just now." I whisper to Rose as we walk to the dinning table and sit down.
"hmm, I think he is also worried about the same thing his father is. But that doesn't matter now for I have decided to reject Jay-Jay. " she states.
My face pales as I hear what she tells me which alerts Vix as he notices my face drop and turn pale out of nowhere, he sighs lightly as he doesn't say anything else as we eat our food.
