Chapter 744 - 11-15

Chapter 211: Complete Victory

"Abysmal stab!"

"Abysmal stab!"

The first two soul skills of the two sisters were the same. The competition was about their proficiency with the skills, and of course, Zhu Zhuqing's higher soul power gave her an advantage.

"Cling!"

The two cat claws met but quickly separated, with Zhu Zhuqing retreating three steps while Zhu Zhuqing stood firm.

"Abysmal Hundred Claws."

"Abysmal Hundred Claws!"

The two figures flickered like ghosts, disappearing and reappearing at will.

The sound of clinking, "Ding, ding, ding, ding," echoed through the arena, with a rhythmic intensity that even some spectators began nodding their heads to the beat.

Ning Bei thought to himself that if he hadn't crossed into Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect and awakened the Dan Tower martial soul, opening a nail salon outside the Zhu family's door in Star Luo would have been a good idea. After all, the amount of nail-breaking involved in this kind of claw technique is unimaginable.

After the two sisters had their bout, they separated once again. Zhu Zhuqing felt a trace of defeat. As the older sister, nearly seven years her senior, being completely overshadowed by her younger sister was a blow to her pride.

"Zhuqing, don't underestimate me. I'm going all out now."

"Do as you wish!"

Zhu Zhuqing's calm tone made Zhu Zhuqing's heart tremble. How had she never realized before that her younger sister was so infuriating?

"Abysmal Spring Falls."

A sinister mist spread from Zhu Zhuqing's body, quickly enveloping Zhu Zhuqing.

Feeling her breathing becoming more difficult, Zhu Zhuqing furrowed her brows and immediately vanished from the stage.

It was a true disappearance. Zhu Zhuqing could no longer sense her sister's location and anxiously looked around.

Just as Zhu Zhuqing's fear reached its peak, a cold voice rang out behind her.

"Fifth Soul Skill: Shadow Kill."

The little cat, emerging from Zhu Zhuqing's shadow, swiped at her back. Seeing she hadn't reacted in time, she withdrew her claws and turned it into a palm strike.

"Ugh!"

Zhu Zhuqing grunted and fell off the stage, turning around with a complicated look to her sister on the stage.

After a long pause, a bitter smile appeared on Zhu Zhuqing's lips.

"Zhuqing, you win."

Zhu Zhuqing nodded but didn't say much. She turned to look at Dai Weisi, making her intentions clear—it's your turn now.

Dai Weisi, relieved that his fiancée hadn't been injured, breathed a sigh of relief. He was still hoping to recover some face for himself in the team battle.

After all, they still had their trump cards.

Looking up at the little cat on the stage, Dai Weisi turned to the referee and made the decision to forfeit.

After all, Zhu Zhuqing would hold back against her sister, but against him, it wasn't guaranteed. Faced with her fifth soul skill, Dai Weisi didn't have a good counter.

Furthermore, even if he were to defeat Zhu Zhuqing at the cost of injury, Royal Fight Team II still had six members left. It wasn't worth it. It was better to bet on the team battle.

The referee nodded, signaling his understanding, and turned to announce the result.

"Personal battle won by Royal Fight Team II."

The stands erupted in applause for the little cat, and her teammates cheered her on loudly.

Zhu Zhuqing's expression gradually relaxed, as if shedding an invisible burden. She even walked more lightly, as though a weight had been lifted from her.

Hearing her teammates' cheers, Zhu Zhuqing shamelessly ignored them and looked toward Ning Bei.

Ning Bei gave her an encouraging smile and gave her a thumbs-up.

Zhu Zhuqing immediately revealed a smile as bright as a melting iceberg, causing Dai Mubai in the distance to grit his teeth. He had never seen that smile before.

But it wasn't just Dai Mubai gritting his teeth; it was also Dugu Yan, standing next to Ning Bei.

She had kicked over the vinegar jar, and the sourness filled the entire arena.

Before, she had only noticed that Xiao Wu had feelings for her man. Now, there was someone else waiting for her!

Looking at the little cat's posture, even more upright than her own, Dugu Yan unconsciously puffed out her chest, then released her self-created soul skill toward her man's waist, more forceful than usual.

"Hiss!"

Ning Bei almost cried out, managing to hold back the pain. He turned to look at Dugu Yan, confused about why she was acting this way.

It wasn't appropriate to do anything improper in public, so he leaned in close to her ear and whispered:

"Are you trying to experience the speed of light?"

Dugu Yan's face turned pale, and with a cold snort, she released her grip and turned her head away.

Ning Bei, still rubbing his sore waist, smiled and turned back, only to find Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing looking at Dugu Yan, who was sulking with an unreadable expression.

If Ning Bei wasn't mistaken, were those expressions… envy?

Ning Rongrong, who had seen everything, slyly approached Ning Bei, elbowing him.

"Brother, my two little sisters-in-law can't hide their expressions anymore. The big sister is jealous. What are you going to do?"

Hearing his sister's teasing, Ning Bei showed no emotion as he walked behind her.

He made a fist, with his middle finger slightly raised, and expertly pressed on her temples, delivering a sweet chestnut-like shake.

"Ah!" "Ah!" "Ah!"

The screams echoed through the venue. Afterward, Ning Rongrong, holding her head and looking like a rain-soaked pear blossom, glanced at her irresponsible brother.

"Brother, in front of so many people, aren't you going to give me any face?"

"If you keep enjoying this, I'll give you a hell cradle. Do you believe me?"

Ning Rongrong immediately wiped away her tears, terrified, and rushed to hide behind her two little sisters.

"Sister-in-law Xiao Wu, sister-in-law Zhuqing, quickly save the poor little niece."

With a playful expression, Ning Rongrong no longer looked scared. Her smile was full of mischief.

Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing's faces immediately turned bright red, and they cast murderous glares at Ning Rongrong, but there were too many people around, so they couldn't take action.

Clearly, Ning Rongrong knew that she could exploit these two to her advantage.

But Ning Rongrong's target wasn't really them. Two cowards who couldn't even express their feelings, how could she rely on them to take revenge for her?

As expected, Dugu Yan, with her keen hearing, snorted coldly again. Ning Bei's hairs stood on end, and he quickly protected his waist.

"Don't listen to her nonsense, I haven't done anything!"

Dugu Yan gave him a cold smile and sent him a look, then turned her attention back to Ning Rongrong, pulling her into an embrace and whispering:

"Little girl, one word and you send two rivals right to my doorstep. You sure are brave."

"Ah?"

Thinking she had found a solid backing, Ning Rongrong immediately froze. Was she going to be caught in a mixed double?

Ning Bei couldn't help but laugh. "Serves you right for being cocky. You must've provoked someone you shouldn't have."

"Sister-in-law, little niece, you're both so cute. You should be…"

Dugu Yan nodded expressionlessly, then pushed Ning Rongrong into Ning Bei's arms.

"All yours."

Ning Bei, smiling reassuringly, looked down at his younger sister.

Ning Rongrong, now desperately trying to get out of trouble, quickly flashed a silly smile.

Unexpectedly, Ning Bei's smile immediately disappeared, and with both hands, he grabbed Ning Rongrong's small head, shaking it as if using a washing machine.

"Self-created soul skill: Hell Cradle."

"Ah!" "Ah!" "Ah!"

Chapter 212: Zhu Zhuqing vs. Star Luo Royal Academy

As the official break time ended, the team battle between Royal Fight Team II and Star Luo Royal Academy was about to begin.

"Let me go first. If I can't beat them, you guys can take the stage after," Zhu Zhuqing said, ready to act on her own.

Having already won her personal match with ease, she was still not satisfied and wanted to prove to someone who once looked down on her that she could handle Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhuqing without help.

Her teammates did not object, as they had already agreed that Zhu Zhuqing would take the lead in the match against Star Luo.

After the referee introduced the members of both teams, all 14 members stepped onto the stage. Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhuqing's eyes were filled with the desire to win.

This was their only opportunity to prove themselves. It was well-known that there were royal family members present at the competition, and if they were defeated by Zhu Zhuqing, it would be a huge blow to their reputation in Star Luo.

As the match began, Star Luo's seven members immediately released their martial souls. They dared not show off in front of a team filled with Soul Kings.

However, what shocked the audience was the sight on Royal Fight Team II's side—six members slowly backed off, leaving Zhu Zhuqing alone in the center of the stage.

Ning Rongrong and Nami stood at the edge of the stage and released their martial souls.

"Nine Treasure Glazed Tile: Continuous Work!"

Five colored beams of light entered Zhu Zhuqing's body, instantly enhancing her strength.

Nami didn't hesitate and released her support soul skill.

"Third Soul Skill: Blessing of the Tidal Wave."

Three water orbs surrounded Zhu Zhuqing, slowing the enemies and increasing the power of her soul skills by 30%.

With the added assistance from Ning Rongrong, Zhu Zhuqing's individual combat ability reached terrifying levels.

"Damn, you think you can handle all of us by yourself?" Dai Weisi looked furious, feeling humiliated. This 9-year younger woman was completely disregarding him.

Zhu Zhuqing's expression was also not good. Although the fight between the two sisters had ended with Zhu Zhuqing's retreat, as the elder sister, being beaten by her younger sister was still difficult to accept.

Zhu Zhuqing, who was not one to talk much, had no intention of engaging in a war of words. She released her martial soul and vanished from the stage, her terrifying speed stunning the seven members of Star Luo Academy.

Although they had already witnessed her speed in the personal battle, back then they could still see some faint afterimages.

Now, with the enhancement from the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda, they couldn't even see her shadow.

For a moment, the seven of them were panicking, unsure of who Zhu Zhuqing would target first. The feeling of not controlling their fate made them frantic.

It was the defensive soul master, Ying Wei, who activated his third soul skill, Wild Expansion, and fourth soul skill, Steel Hardened Skin, stepping forward to protect the two auxiliary soul masters. No matter who Zhu Zhuqing targeted, his task was to ensure the safety of the support members.

Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhuqing also thought the same—Zhu Zhuqing would most likely target the auxiliary soul masters, Dong Hui and Yang Mingxin. They quickly moved toward them, preparing to assist at any moment.

But their assumptions were wrong. Zhu Zhuqing's first target was Li Yang, a soul master with the Reflective Mirror martial soul.

She had felt the strangeness of this martial soul during the personal battle. Not only could it reflect energy-based attacks, but it could also move the soul master, which posed a potential risk. It was better to deal with him first.

"Third Soul Skill: Abysmal Slash."

To ensure a successful first kill, Zhu Zhuqing also used her external attached soul bone.

Her gaze was fixed on her auxiliary teammates, and Li Yang, sensing the fluctuation of soul power behind him, was struck with dread.

He thought to himself, "No honor in targeting the support first, what kind of team battle is this?"

But what he forgot was that the reason assassins normally target supports in team battles is because supports are fragile and vulnerable, but when facing a soul master like Zhu Zhuqing, even he, a battle soul master, was just as fragile.

In his panic, Li Yang barely managed to activate a mirror behind him to intercept Zhu Zhuqing's first attack.

Li Yang's soul skill was similar to Ning Bei's Radiant Wall, though not as powerful as the ten-thousand-year soul bone technique.

But it was clear he was thinking too highly of himself. With her external soul bone and enhanced attack power, Zhu Zhuqing shattered his mirror and sent him flying out of the arena.

Zhu Zhuqing secured the first kill.

One quick strike, and then she disappeared again from the stage, keeping her assassin creed of attacking swiftly and retreating immediately, causing Dai Weisi and the others to grow more anxious.

How could they retaliate when they couldn't even see her?

After exchanging looks with Zhu Zhuqing, Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhuqing moved quickly toward each other, clasping hands tightly.

After years of teamwork, the two auxiliary soul masters immediately released all their enhancement skills on Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhuqing, further boosting their soul power.

However, that was all they could do. Zhu Zhuqing had already bypassed the massive defensive soul master and arrived in front of Dong Hui and Yang Mingxin. With a series of Abysmal stabs, she sent both of them off the stage.

Now, Star Luo's team was down to only four members.

Zhu Zhuqing's next target was the auxiliary soul master. After some rapid movements, she arrived next to her.

Tang Hongning, realizing his own auxiliary soul master had fallen, quickly figured out that he was the next target. He activated his second and fourth soul rings on his Lightning Wolf martial soul and began running around the arena, trying to buy time for his leaders.

However, when it came to speed, Zhu Zhuqing was arguably the fastest in this tournament. She caught up with him in just a few moments, and with another Abysmal Slash, sent him flying out of the arena.

Next, the giant water buffalo defensive soul master was Zhu Zhuqing's target. Having gained some insight on how to deal with this tough opponent, Zhu Zhuqing closed the distance with Abysmal stab and unleashed her external soul bone, further boosting her soul skill by 50%. Combined with the assistance from Ning Rongrong and Nami, her soul skill power increased to a terrifying 140%.

This time, it was much easier than the first personal battle. The Abysmal Hundred Claws followed by the Abysmal Slash tore through the steel-like skin of the water buffalo's abdomen, and with a powerful kick, Zhu Zhuqing sent the buffalo off the stage.

"Zhuqing, you're amazing!"

"Keep going!"

Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong immediately sent their love and cheers to their teammate, encouraging her to keep going.

Feeling the immense soul power fluctuation coming from behind, Zhu Zhuqing knew the final showdown was about to begin.

Turning around, a giant purple-white tiger roared and charged at her.

"Martial Soul Fusion Skill: Abysmal White Tiger."

Having sacrificed five teammates, Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhuqing finally unleashed their fusion skill.

Zhu Zhuqing's lips curled into a smile. She could have taken down one of them first, but she didn't.

Chapter 213: Star Luo Royalty

She wanted to kill not just the body but the spirit, to shatter the Martial Soul Fusion Skill they were so proud of, making the two completely admit defeat—that was Little Kitty's true goal.

The Netherworld White Tiger was extremely fast, but still could not catch up to Zhu Zhuqing with the assistance of the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda. After she easily evaded, the floor tiles where she had been standing cracked under the tiger's blow.

Seeing that its strike had missed, the massive Netherworld White Tiger turned around and roared, constantly searching for Little Kitty's location.

Zhu Zhuqing gave the competing students a fine demonstration of a speed-type attack soul master's charm—constantly striking from the tiger's blind spots and leaving countless claw marks on its body.

She struck and withdrew instantly, her figure ghost-like.

To other teams, the Netherworld White Tiger was a terrifying existence, but in Little Kitty's eyes, it was like an oversized toy, appearing extremely clumsy.

With nowhere to vent, the white tiger could only keep swinging its sharp claws at the empty air in front of it.

The Martial Soul Fusion Skill consumed a great deal from the two—obviously they couldn't fight a prolonged battle with Zhu Zhuqing. This move was meant for a quick and decisive victory.

"Weiss, this won't work, use that move!"

"Alright!"

"White Tiger Netherworld Roar!"

In their urgency, the two voices mixed with a deafening tiger's roar spread across the arena, forming a sound domain nearly ten meters in diameter. Anyone entering it would be lightly injured or severely knocked unconscious.

Spectators in the stands quickly covered their ears; the terrifying volume was clearly making them extremely uncomfortable.

Just as Zhu Zhuqing was about to launch an attack, her eyes suddenly narrowed. Reacting quickly, she immediately activated her fifth soul ring and vanished again.

The powerful tiger roar continued for several dozen seconds before the entire venue finally quieted down.

The white tiger again looked left and right, searching for Zhu Zhuqing's figure.

"Weiss, she should be behind us."

"What?"

Zhu Zhuyun, who had been defeated by this move before, immediately reminded Dai Weisi. He quickly controlled the white tiger to turn around—but of course there was no sign of Zhu Zhuqing behind them.

Zhu Zhuyun had made the wrong assumption. Little Kitty's fifth soul skill did not force her to appear behind her target—it allowed her to hide in their shadow, waiting for the right moment.

However, when the white tiger turned its head, their shadow also shifted direction.

Zhu Zhuqing emerged at that moment, truly appearing behind them.

"Fourth Soul Skill—Nether Shadow Clone."

"Third Soul Skill—Nether Slash."

She used the same technique she had used against the great water buffalo, targeting the vulnerable spot on the abdomen and unleashing a chain of attacks focused on a single point.

Three Nether Shadow Clones, plus the Nether Slash from her true body, caused a sharp, pained roar to erupt from the white tiger's massive jaws—it was clearly heavily wounded.

When the strike ended, Zhu Zhuqing again widened the distance, disappearing from the arena.

"Damn it, we can't hit her at all."

Dai Weisi's angry roar echoed in Zhu Zhuyun's mind. The big cat was also helpless—no matter how powerful the attack, what use was it if it couldn't hit the enemy?

The Netherworld White Tiger no longer dared to stay still. It kept moving, searching for Little Kitty's figure.

But Zhu Zhuqing was patient, simply circling the arena without attacking. She knew very well that time was on her side—once Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhuyun exhausted their soul power, they would be nothing but lambs to the slaughter.

Compared to Little Kitty's patience, Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhuyun were becoming more and more agitated. They had already noticed the Contra-level soul master from the royal family watching from the top of the stands, frowning and looking at them coldly.

A few minutes later, the two completely lost their momentum. The Netherworld White Tiger once again stopped, lowering its once-proud head.

Zhu Zhuqing then launched her final strike, pouncing toward the position where they had just attacked.

"Nether Slash."

With a single blow, the Netherworld White Tiger shattered completely, revealing Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhuyun as they fell from the arena.

The two looked utterly dejected, their eyes lifeless—this was a humiliating, crushing defeat.

The royal offering on the high platform snorted coldly and left the stands, disappointment clear in his heart.

Dai Mubai's eyes were filled with bitterness.

"It seems I truly am just a dispensable existence."

The referee then announced that the Royal Fight Second Team had won, advancing smoothly into the top six of the tournament.

Thunderous cheers erupted from the stands.

"Miss Kitty, please give me your autograph!"

"Miss Kitty, where did you buy your tail?"

"Sis, kill me!"

"…"

Her companions surrounded Zhu Zhuqing. Little Kitty's cheeks were no longer as cold as before—the pressure on her had almost entirely lifted.

"Zhuqing, you are amazing!"

The little rabbit generously gave her a thumbs-up. She had witnessed firsthand the hard work her sister had put in over the years.

"That's right, Zhuqing. Two and a half years of training, and you finally completed your revenge."

Ning Rongrong was also happy for her sister. From now on, all she had to think about was how to become Zhu Zhuqing's sister-in-law.

After celebrating with her companions for a moment, Zhu Zhuqing walked over to Zhu Zhuyun and extended her hand. At that moment, the big cat was still lying on the ground, unwilling to get up.

Feeling the shadow blocking the sunlight above her, Zhu Zhuyun slowly raised her head. Seeing her younger sister, a bitter smile formed on her lips.

"You won, Zhuqing."

Holding her sister's hand, Zhu Zhuyun slowly stood and gave her blessing.

"Don't worry, I won't return to the Star Luo Empire again. You just need to maintain your position well."

Zhu Zhuyun's body trembled. Meeting her sister's sincere gaze, she didn't know whether to feel happy or disappointed.

That position she had once dreamed of now seemed like something her sister was graciously giving her.

At this moment, Dai Weisi also stood up and came to stand beside the sisters.

"Be careful, the royal family has sent people this time."

Zhu Zhuqing froze for a moment—she hadn't expected the crown prince to offer her a kind warning. She glanced at the tall figure on the high platform and felt an unprecedented sense of reassurance.

She turned and nodded at Dai Weisi.

"Don't worry, I am not alone."

Then she turned to walk back toward her companions, returning to the stands in the company of her sisters.

"Let's go, the rest of the matches aren't much to watch."

The group of little ones nodded in agreement and left the venue with Ning Bei.

Just as they reached the outside of the arena, they saw the Star Luo Imperial Academy group waiting for them.

Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhuyun's faces were ashen—it was obvious they were in a foul mood.

Standing before the Star Luo team was a middle-aged man of about fifty, with short golden hair and heterochromatic eyes that marked his royal Star Luo heritage.

"Zhu Zhuqing, fourth child of the Zhu family of Star Luo, with exceptional cultivation talent, the top candidate for Empress. Come back to Star Luo with me."

The man stated his purpose directly, his expression full of confidence, not giving Ning Bei and the others the slightest regard.

Zhu Zhuqing's brows furrowed, her hands clenched tightly—she was clearly nervous. What was meant to come had still come.

But before Little Kitty could answer, Rongrong and the little rabbit stepped forward indignantly.

"Who do you think you are? Why should Zhuqing go with you?"

Chapter 214: The Star Luo Royal Family

The middle-aged man glanced disdainfully at the two young girls in front of him. In his eyes, the Heaven Dou Empire was nothing to fear, and he certainly wouldn't take two half-grown girls seriously.

"I am Dai Tianxing, the sixth elder of the Star Luo Royal Family."

"What? Is the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect planning to interfere with the affairs of Star Luo?" Dai Tianxing's gaze made Ning Rongrong feel a strong sense of indignation. As the little princess of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, when had she ever been treated this way?

"I will interfere! What will you do about it? This is the Heaven Dou Empire, and with a stamp of my foot, I can make you disappear!"

"You..."

Dai Tianxing's eyes widened in surprise, not expecting this young girl to be so audacious in his presence.

Zhu Zhuqing looked at her little sister with appreciation and stepped forward to stand in front of her.

"You go. I will not return with you."

The words of the little cat made Dai Tianxing puff up his cheeks, veins bulging on his forehead.

"Do you even know what you're saying? Do you really think the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect can protect you? Stop joking around. As long as His Majesty Ning Fengzhi exerts even a little pressure, he will definitely not protect you."

"Do you understand what your fate will be?"

Before Zhu Zhuqing could respond, Ning Rongrong, now furious, pulled her little sister behind her again.

"Hey, you old fool! What's so great about the Star Luo Royal Family? Do you believe I can have my brother chop you down!"

Ning Rongrong's repeated provocations finally made Dai Tianxing, who had spent years in a high position, lose his composure. He turned his head to look at Ning Bei.

"You are this wild girl's brother? I will have Ning Fengzhi personally teach you a lesson on how to respect your elders."

The small group of companions all exchanged strange glances, having never seen anyone so determined to seek their own doom.

Dugu Yan tugged at Ning Bei's sleeve and whispered:

"Take it easy, don't make it too bloody, it would be disgusting."

Ning Bei, who had been watching the drama unfold, nodded lightly, assuring everyone that a small tiger couldn't stir up a storm.

Dai Tianxing, noticing the lack of fear in the eyes of the crowd, felt his face heat up. A pressure from his Soul Douluo rank suddenly swept toward the group, and eight soul rings—two yellow, two purple, and four black—floated into view.

"I am a Star Luo Elder, a Soul Douluo of level 83. Do you really want to die?"

The pressure was dispersed by a slight tap from Ning Bei, who then walked toward him step by step. With each step, a soul ring rose.

After nine steps, two yellow, one purple, three black, and three red rings appeared.

Ning Bei scratched his ear with his pinky and tilted his head to listen.

"You say you're who? What kind of Douluo are you?"

Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhuqing clearly recognized Ning Bei. Their previous encounter at the street corner had left a lasting impression, and the fear of being controlled by him returned.

At the time, among the guards, the highest-ranked was only a Soul King, and they had assumed Ning Bei was a high-level Soul Saint. But now, seeing those three blood-red soul rings, they were struck with horror.

The rest of the Star Luo team trembled with fear; they had never met a titled Douluo in person.

Dai Tianxing, who was directly facing Ning Bei's aura, now appeared pale and shook as he took several steps back.

"You... you..."

"You what? I'm asking you, what kind of Douluo are you?"

"I... I..."

"Pathetic. You were just bullying a few kids, weren't you? Where's your courage now?"

Dai Tianxing clenched his teeth, swallowing his words. Strength was the highest truth in the Douluo Continent, and as a Star Luo Elder, he was nothing compared to this.

He never imagined that a man in his early twenties could be a titled Douluo. What kind of world was this?

After a deep breath, Dai Tianxing attempted his usual tactic—playing his royal card.

"Your Majesty, this was all a misunderstanding. I am the cousin of the current Star Luo Emperor. Please give me face and don't interfere in the affairs of the Dai and Zhu families."

"Oh? I will interfere. What are you going to do about it?"

Ning Bei looked at Dai Tianxing with an emotionless expression, waiting to see what else he would say.

"Don't you fear provoking a war between the Star Luo Empire and the Heaven Dou Empire?"

Dai Tianxing's expression became increasingly twisted. He didn't think the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect would offend the Star Luo royal family for the sake of a woman from the Zhu family.

Ning Bei smiled coldly. A country that might not even exist in a few years? You think you can scare me with that?

After going back and forth with the same words, Ning Bei lost interest in playing cat and mouse. He turned to face Dai Weisi behind Dai Tianxing.

"Hey, go back and tell Dai Tianyu to send troops to Heaven Dou. Send as many as you want, and I'll destroy them all. Tell him this is the message from the Medicine God Douluo."

"Also, I'll be taking care of this old fool. You all can leave."

A member of the Star Luo Royal Academy froze for a moment before looking at Ning Bei with disbelief.

Dai Tianxing, trembling, pointed at Ning Bei as if he had seen a madman.

"You... you..."

"Your Majesty."

Dai Weisi stepped forward, bowing his head slightly, wanting to speak but was interrupted by Ning Bei's hand motion.

"If you keep talking nonsense, you can stay here. I'm sure Dai Mu Bai would love to go back and become the prince."

Dai Weisi was left speechless, taking a deep breath before looking at Dai Tianxing with pity. He left with the Star Luo team.

Ning Bei turned around and met Dai Tianxing's panicked eyes, smirking as he spoke.

"Do you want to struggle a little before you die?"

"No, you can't kill me... Star Luo Empire won't..."

Before he could finish, Dai Tianxing turned into a block of ice, standing still in place, his eyes filled with panic and regret.

"Brother, are you really going to kill him?"

Ning Rongrong looked at Ning Bei with some apprehension, she had only been joking before, but if this really caused a war between the two countries, she was quite scared.

"Otherwise? If we don't do something drastic, they'll think we're afraid, and they'll keep bothering us. Do you want to hand Zhuqing over to them?"

Upon hearing this, Ning Rongrong straightened her back and waved her hand.

"Of course not!"

"But what if the Star Luo royal family really sends troops?"

Zhu Zhuqing, listening to the conversation between the siblings, felt moved but also made up her mind.

"Ning Bei, I'll still go back with him..."

Before she could finish, Ning Bei flicked her forehead, causing her to stagger back a few steps.

"It's none of your business. Go back to the hotel and practice."

Ning Bei gave a stern look to the little cat and then looked at his sister.

"Let them come. When the time comes, I'll go between the military and release Daming, Erming, Ah Bao, and A Zhu."

"Anyway, they're getting bored in the Dan Tower."

"Not to mention, your sister-in-law's grandfather is a military killer, don't you remember?"

"I totally forgot about Ah Bao and the others!"

Ning Rongrong's eyes brightened upon hearing this and she immediately gained confidence. She rushed forward and kicked the ice sculpture.

"Hey, brother, why is this ice sculpture so hard?"

Everyone watched as Ning Rongrong grabbed her foot, looking miserable. They couldn't help but laugh, and even the little cat's tension faded.

"Alright, let's go. Find a place to eat. Today's treat is on Lady Ning!"

Ning Bei led the group toward the hotel. As they passed Dai Tianxing, he snapped his fingers.

The ice sculpture that Ning Rongrong had treated like iron instantly shattered into countless pieces, scattering across the ground.

Chapter 215: Sh*t Luck Shrek

The little cat stared at the relaxed and carefree back, unable to take her eyes off it.

Tears welled up in her eyes. There truly was someone in this world who would never abandon her, no matter the circumstances, even if it meant going against an entire empire.

The group continued walking toward the hotel, and it was the sharp-eyed little rabbit who looked back and gasped in surprise.

"There's a soul bone!"

"Hmm?"

Ning Bei turned his head in response to the sound, and sure enough, as the little rabbit had said, there was a translucent soul bone lying amidst the broken ice.

It was a left arm bone, probably close to 50,000 years old.

Using soul power, he quickly scanned it and then tossed it to the little cat.

"Since it's from Star Luo, it's yours."

Zhu Zhuqing quickly scrambled to catch the soul bone as it flew toward her.

"I can't take this! I already..."

"Consider it a reward for your amazing performance in the previous match!" Ning Bei waved his hand, making the decision clear. The little cat had already been interrupted so many times today that she lost count.

Tightening her grip on the soul bone, Zhu Zhuqing looked around at her companions. She found them all looking at her with expressions of approval, and her heart warmed.

"It's fine, Zhuqing. After all, didn't Brother promise us that once we win the championship, we'll each get a soul bone? You can just consider this an early reward."

Hearing this, Zhu Zhuqing hesitated no more and stored the soul bone into her soul tool.

"Thank you, Ning Bei and everyone!"

The incident with Dai Tianxing was just a minor interruption, and aside from the little cat, no one else paid it much attention.

After having dinner at the hotel, the group received the results of the next round of the draw.

"Wow, how lucky is Shrek Academy?"

The little rabbit expressed her dissatisfaction with a displeased look on her face.

Because the draw was for the 6v3 matches, the Spirit Hall team drew the Tianshui Academy, the Imperial Fight Team II drew the Shenfeng Academy, and Shrek Academy once again drew the relatively weaker Xiangjia team.

Ning Rongrong agreed with her little sister's words and nodded.

"Could it be that they have connections with the organizing committee? This is ridiculous! Who have they been facing, really the worst teams?"

"Exactly! Just give them the trophy already!"

Listening to the two girls complain, everyone couldn't help but smile wryly.

Cheating during the draw was out of the question. The main organizer was Spirit Hall, and even if there were any tricks, it would be used for their own team, not Shrek's.

So the only conclusion was that Shrek Academy's luck was just really good.

"Alright, since the draw results are out, let's not complain. After all, to win the championship, we have to beat every opponent. Do you think you can't beat Shrek?"

Ning Bei used a bit of reverse psychology, and as expected, the little rabbit and Ning Rongrong immediately went off, asking her how could they be afraid of Shrek and yelling as if someone had cursed their ancestors.

"How could we lose? Sister Xiao Wu will kick their butts hard!"

"Exactly! How could I lose to those people!"

Looking at the two of them who were full of righteous indignation, everyone couldn't help but laugh. After researching Shenfeng Academy, they each returned to their rooms to rest.

After polishing her Nightlight Soul Bone with Dugu Yan, the woman laid on Ning Bei's chest, drawing circles.

"Do you want me to go tomorrow?"

"Huh? You're interested in playing pretend house with kids?"

"Tch, we're just a few years older than them."

Dugu Yan gave Ning Bei a look and rolled her eyes. Don't think just because he had a higher cultivation, he could order her around. There were even participants in this competition who were older than the two of them!

After thinking for a while, Ning Bei still rejected Dugu Yan's idea of participating in the match tomorrow.

"Wait until we face the Spirit Hall team. We don't want others to talk."

"Fine, I just feel like I don't have much of a part in this."

Dugu Yan pouted but didn't argue with her man's arrangement.

Ning Bei smiled and patted her on the back as a comforting gesture.

"Don't worry, in the final round, you'll have your chance to show off. The siblings from the Spirit Hall have a fusion technique. We may actually need you to handle them."

"Really? That's great, I've been waiting to participate in the Soul Master competition, so I must leave my mark!"

Hearing Ning Bei's words, Dugu Yan immediately relaxed, knowing she'd have a chance to show her abilities.

The night passed without further incident, and the next day, the group arrived at the arena early since the match between Imperial Fight Team II and Shenfeng Academy was scheduled first.

Upon arriving, they noticed that Shenfeng Academy had already arrived before them, and both Feng Xiaotian and Huo Wu had somber expressions.

After all, they had gone to great lengths to create an academy fusion technique just to reach the final three, only to be met with failure. They were already pessimistic about defeating Imperial Fight Team II, and after the little cat's impressive display yesterday, their morale reached rock bottom.

Feng Xiaotian, standing at the top of the "licking dog" hierarchy, glanced at the despondent Huo Wu before taking a few steps forward and coming in front of Long Nianbing and the others.

"We won't give up easily. If you underestimate us, you will pay the price."

The group of little ones was momentarily stunned, and the smile on their faces grew wider than ever. They couldn't be happier about not needing to hold back.

"Let's see about that!"

Long Nianbing and the others weren't much for talking and directly entered the waiting area for pre-match preparation.

Xiao Wu glanced disdainfully at Feng Xiaotian, remembering the attitude he'd had during their earlier encounter, and muttered:

"Talk big, like you weren't the one who kept forfeiting earlier, making it so that I didn't get a good fight."

After finishing her sentence, the little rabbit didn't even look back as she joined the rest of the team, leaving Feng Xiaotian standing there, his face pale, feeling like a mess in the wind.

Once the referee introduced the team members, the match for the individual fight began. But to everyone's surprise, Shenfeng Academy forfeited once again.

The little rabbit, nearly stumbling from the shock, looked toward the Shenfeng team with a sour expression.

"Wasn't it supposed to be no easy surrender? Did a dog eat them?"

Feng Xiaotian and Huo Wu ignored her. Their claim of "giving their all" was meant for the team battle, as their earlier performance against the Imperial Fight Team II had proven that fighting individually was not the way to go.

The little rabbit punched the air in frustration and returned to her teammates.

"These people are pathetic. In the team battle, we'll give them a good smack in the face."

Seeing the visible anger emanating from Xiao Wu's head, Long Nianbing and the others quickly agreed. They also felt like they'd been played with, and their spirits were now rising.

Since Shenfeng Academy forfeited the individual match, there was no adjustment period, and the referee immediately declared Imperial Fight Team II the winner and started the team battle.

The audience in the front rows began to understand what had happened, and a wave of boos swept through the arena, making the faces of the Shenfeng team turn even darker.
