Chapter 126: Tang San vs. Dai Mubai
Although everyone was disdainful in their hearts, they did not directly refuse. After the last time, Flander had already spoken to them individually. They still had to give some face to a Soul Saint.
Seeing that no one had opposed him, Yu Xiaogang turned to look at Tang San.
"Xiao San, go ahead, only use the first three soul skills."
"Yes!"
In addition to guiding the students in using their soul skills, he also intended to establish Tang San's authority and leadership in the team. Setting some restrictions would make it easier for the other students to accept him.
The master believed his disciple could do it!
"Dai Mubai, you and Tang San will start the soul fight."
Dai Mubai did not reply, but walked directly to the center of the field. He also wanted to see how capable Tang San, now a Soul King, truly was.
"Let's begin."
With the master's command, the two of them immediately released their martial souls.
Yellow, yellow, and purple soul rings rose from the White Tiger.
Tang San on the opposite side did not back down, and four yellow soul rings appeared above the Blue Silver Grass.
The fat guy, seeing this scene from a distance, quickly turned his back to the two in the field. His shoulders were shaking, clearly struggling to hold back laughter. Every time he saw Tang San's soul ring configuration, he couldn't help but laugh. No matter how much he trained, it was useless.
Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong couldn't help but chuckle at the fat guy's actions.
"Let me see your ability now, Tang San. White Tiger Protective Shield!"
Dai Mubai saw that his opponent was ready and immediately released his first soul skill, swiping his claw towards Tang San.
Tang San, seeing this, did not dodge. He also wanted to test the power of his third soul skill.
"Third soul skill, Blue Silver Turtle Shell."
This was the third soul skill granted to the Blue Silver Grass by the Grass Turtle. A huge turtle shell made of Blue Silver Grass appeared in front of Tang San.
Seeing this, Dai Mubai did not stop his attack. His claw slammed directly into the turtle shell.
The sound of cracking "ka-chak" could be heard as the shell quickly began to break apart under the White Tiger's claw.
"Huh? So easy?"
Dai Mubai was a bit caught off guard. Why was the third soul skill so weak?
Tang San, seeing this, turned pale. He had already thought that Blue Silver Grass was useless, and this only reinforced his belief.
But given the situation, he didn't have time to think further. Using Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track, he quickly dodged backwards. The first and second soul rings flashed one after the other, activating the Parasite and Bind to Mother skills.
Before long, Dai Mubai, who had been momentarily stunned, was entangled.
Tang San smiled smugly, then quickly pulled out a few stones and fired them towards Dai Mubai's eyes, chest, and kidneys.
Dai Mubai, noticing this, narrowed his eyes. "You little brat, you're really vicious. I'm going to make you taste my power."
"Third soul skill, White Tiger Vajra Transformation."
Dai Mubai's muscles bulged, and a burst of energy erupted from him, shaking off the Blue Silver Grass that had wrapped around him. He then swung his paw, deflecting all the stones that were shot at him. His body then surged forward, charging toward Tang San.
"Second soul skill, White Tiger Lightwave."
A blinding lightwave shot out from the White Tiger's mouth, heading straight for Tang San.
Tang San, not daring to be careless, used the Purple Extreme Magic Eyes to observe the trajectory of the beam. Using Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track, he easily dodged it.
He then began to fight Dai Mubai in a guerrilla style, occasionally using the Blue Silver Grass to entangle him and firing stones at him.
Dai Mubai was getting really frustrated. He couldn't even touch him, let alone defeat him.
"Is that all you can do? Dare to fight me head-on?"
"Hmph, your third soul skill can only last half an hour. As long as I survive this period, I can easily defeat you."
"Tch."
Dai Mubai, seeing that his opponent was playing this way, felt helpless. He kept thinking of countermeasures. He had planned to perform well in front of Zhu Zhuqing.
Just as Tang San was about to use the Blue Silver Grass to entangle him again, Dai Mubai's eyes flickered. He didn't try to break free from the Blue Silver Grass and instead launched a Lightwave directly at Tang San, who was in the process of firing more stones.
Tang San quickly retracted his right hand, which had been firing the hidden weapons, and used Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track to dodge to the side.
Dai Mubai, seeing that his opponent had been distracted by his second soul skill, quickly broke free from the Blue Silver Grass and gathered all his strength under his feet to charge at Tang San.
Tang San, with his back to Dai Mubai, immediately sensed the rush of air and felt a surge of urgency. It seemed that he had no choice but to use his soul bone skill.
Dai Mubai, seeing his attack about to succeed, smiled faintly, as though he could already see the look of admiration in the little cat's eyes.
"Pig's Universe Fart."
Suddenly, a strange green gas emerged from Tang San's rear, enveloping Dai Mubai.
This was the soul bone skill granted to him by the little fragrant pig's torso.
Dai Mubai, smelling the nauseating odor, immediately fell to the ground convulsing. He couldn't even maintain his martial soul possession. His eyes rolled back, and he foamed at the mouth.
The people around them, seeing the poisonous gas spreading, quickly retreated hundreds of meters, waving their hands in front of their faces to disperse the toxic air.
"Ugh."
Ning Rongrong, who had been the slowest to react, inhaled a bit of the harmful gas and immediately bent over, gagging.
Xiao Wu hurriedly patted her back to help her breathe easier.
Tang San's soul bone skill caught Dai Mubai off guard. Given that cats have an extremely sensitive sense of smell, the toxic gas hit him at such a close range, rendering the fierce tiger incapable of continuing the fight.
Even the expert in flatulence, Yu Xiaogang, frowned deeply. Fortunately, his extensive experience in dealing with farts gave him some resistance to it.
After a long while, the toxic gas dissipated, and the students slowly returned to their positions. Ning Rongrong, who had been affected, glared at Tang San, clearly displeased. "You should just stick to the soul fight and not do such things."
After waiting a few seconds and seeing that Dai Mubai also had a grim expression, Ning Rongrong quickly averted her gaze. She didn't want to provoke him further.
The master instructed Oscar to feed Dai Mubai a detoxifying sausage. Only then did Dai Mubai slowly regain consciousness, looking around in confusion.
"I lost?"
Ma Hongjun and Oscar nodded directly.
"Dai, it's not your fault. No one can resist under that toxic gas."
Dai Mubai's face darkened as he glanced at Tang San. He had indeed not been treated seriously by him and was still fanning the air in front of himself.
Yu Xiaogang stepped forward to attract everyone's attention.
"Dai Mubai, do you know where you went wrong?"
"Huh?"
"You were too arrogant. Although the White Tiger is a top-tier martial soul, as a powerful attack-type soul master, when facing a control-type soul master, the rule is to try to close the distance as quickly as possible after the battle begins. But you? You tried to test Tang San first and missed your chance."
Dai Mubai couldn't help but grumble in his heart. Close the distance? Close to smell the fart? But having lost the soul fight, he didn't have the right to refute and accepted it with a grim expression.
Seeing that Dai Mubai had acknowledged his mistake, the master nodded in satisfaction, turning to look at his disciple, who had won the soul fight but wasn't happy.
"Xiao San, I understand that you wanted to test the power of your soul skills, but letting a strong attack soul master get close is a foolish move. Don't ever do this again, understand?"
Tang San nodded. He knew he had overestimated his own abilities.
Now that the first battle had been analyzed, the master's gaze shifted to Xiao Wu.
"Next, Tang San will fight Xiao Wu. This time, Tang San is allowed to use his fourth soul skill."
Ma Hongjun and the others immediately looked at Xiao Wu with pity, as though they were seeing her collapse from the poisonous gas.
Xiao Wu immediately took several steps back, shaking her head.
"I don't want to fight him. Little sister Xiao Wu doesn't want to smell farts."
Amid the grim expressions of Tang San and Yu Xiaogang, Little Rabbit refused the soul fight.
"According to the comprehensive conclusion of the Xuantian Treasure Guide, this woman is on the path to death."
Tang San glared at Xiao Wu with a grim expression, the initial vague affection he had for her disappearing completely.
The master felt helpless in his heart. It was really hard to have absolute authority in front of these kids. He smiled at the little rabbit. Since you won't be convinced by a battle analysis, I'll use my knowledge instead.

Chapter 127: Turning Against Each Other
"If you don't want to participate in the soul fight, you can still tell me about the eight soul skills of your two martial souls. I'll help you analyze how to use them in battle."
After saying this, the master looked at the little rabbit smugly.
Dai Mubai and the others looked at Xiao Wu in surprise. Eight soul skills? So this woman is a twin martial soul user?
Only Zhu Zhuqing, after understanding, looked at her with disdain. She knew why Xiao Wu could have soul rings beyond her years.
Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong looked at the master with confused expressions, wondering if he was serious.
The little rabbit waved her hand, clearly impatient, and said, "Sister Xiao Wu doesn't have eight soul skills, I don't know where you heard that from."
Yu Xiaogang, acting as though he had figured everything out, took another step forward.
"After my research, the second soul ring cannot exceed 764 years. The only explanation for you having a thousand-year second soul ring is that you must be a twin martial soul, right? That would also explain why you can have such cultivation at your age."
"You may want to hide this, which is understandable, but since you will be participating in the Continental Elite Soul Master Tournament together, getting to know each other's soul skills will help you cooperate better."
The little rabbit gave Yu Xiaogang a disdainful look, completely baffled by his confidence.
"You can say whatever you want, but I still can't create a second martial soul, right? Where do you expect me to get four more soul skills from?"
Seeing that she still refused to open up despite his insistence, Yu Xiaogang felt displeased.
"Hmph, do you realize that half of your potential is wasted? The second martial soul can only be cultivated after your first martial soul reaches the level of a Soul Emperor. At that point, all your soul rings can reach the ten-thousand-year level. I am the only one who can guide you. Now, you have the chance, and you're not seizing it?"
Tang San, at this moment, also withdrew his killing intent. He too wanted to participate in the Soul Master Tournament, so it was understandable for everyone to work together for now.
"Master is right. As the scholar who knows the most about martial souls on the continent, only she can make up for your second martial soul's half-wasted potential. You should be more sincere."
The master and disciple continued to pressure the little rabbit, making her feel like she was being nailed to a pillar of shame. Xiao Wu, who had been pampered with Ning Rongrong since childhood, couldn't bear this.
"Are you both sick? I've said it already, I don't have a twin martial soul. How am I supposed to make one up for you?"
Yu Xiaogang's anger reached a boiling point as he saw she was still being stubborn.
"Hmph, if you're this stubborn, I'll be blunt: you can leave the academy now. I won't teach a student who doesn't know what's good for them!"
The little rabbit's eyes widened in shock, her heart racing with frustration. Who's asking you to be my teacher? With your broken knowledge, you might even lead Sister Xiao Wu astray.
At that moment, Ning Rongrong could no longer hold back.
"Let's go, Xiao Wu. We don't need to stay in this crappy academy. This stupid fart master doesn't even know that whale glue can enhance physical strength. So, by your logic, in my Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan, there must be at least eighty to a hundred twin martial soul disciples?"
After venting her frustration at the idiotic master, Ning Rongrong felt much better. All the accumulated pent-up frustration disappeared, and she grabbed Xiao Wu's hand, heading towards the academy's exit.
Xiao Wu didn't object. She too didn't want to stay in this rotten academy anymore. The students were weird, and the teachers were no better.
Seeing that the two were about to leave, the master was caught off guard. What's going on? Shouldn't you two be begging me to teach you how to cultivate your martial souls? How come you're so hopeless?
Tang San, who had trusted Yu Xiaogang and had already endured the insults to his teacher, could no longer tolerate it. The person in front of him already had a death wish, and Tang San had been holding back his killing intent only because he still had some use. If he was leaving, there was no need to hold back anymore.
Tang San, preparing to make a move, reached for the soul tool at his waist and aimed it at the two girls.
Just as he was about to strike, a figure appeared in front of him and grabbed his hands.
It was Flander, who had witnessed everything unfold.
"Don't be impulsive. Although the words were harsh, neither of them deserve death, and they are not people you can afford to offend."
Tang San was stopped, still feeling upset, but hearing what the dean said, a cold sweat broke out. That's right, these two little girls weren't dangerous, but their backing, the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan, was a giant force.
"Tang San, you've lived two lives, yet you're still so easily swayed by your emotions. You shouldn't have let it get to this point."
Realizing this, Tang San took a deep breath and returned to his place next to the master, looking grim.
Flander, though disappointed at the loss of two talented students, didn't try to stop them. Their identities were just too tricky.
Oscar looked at Ning Rongrong as she walked away, slightly raising his right hand but ultimately deciding not to speak. Maybe these two weren't from the same world after all.
The little cat was feeling down. With the only two normal people in the academy leaving, what was she supposed to do?
Just as the master was preparing to continue the practical training, Ning Rongrong and Xiao Wu returned.
Seeing this, Yu Xiaogang straightened up proudly, clearly thinking, they've come back to beg me to teach them. I'll make sure to discipline these two ungrateful girls properly.
However, things didn't go as he imagined. When the two girls returned to the training ground, they didn't even look at him. They walked straight toward the little cat.
"Zhuqing, come with us. You've seen it too; this broken academy teaches nothing."
Zhu Zhuqing felt a deep sense of gratitude. It was the first time anyone had cared about her well-being.
Dai Mubai, hearing this, couldn't hold back any longer. If the little cat left, he would have to face Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhuqing alone. He looked at Zhu Zhuqing with a fierce expression.
"You can't leave. The Star Luo Royal Family won't let you go. This is your destiny, and no one can change it."
After a long silence, Zhu Zhuqing shook her head. She couldn't drag her two friends into a confrontation with the Star Luo Royal Family.
Ning Rongrong seemed to understand Zhu Zhuqing's thoughts and casually pulled her hand.
"Let's go, Zhuqing. Let me tell you, the two titled Douluo, Sword and Bone, are my grandfathers, and the sect master of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan is my father. If anyone dares to cause trouble for you, I'll let my grandfathers have a talk with them."
With that, she shot a disdainful look at Dai Mubai.
"Perverted tiger, you're content with your lazy life in the Heaven Dou Empire, and now you want to drag Zhuqing down with you? Shameless."
"You—"
Seeing Zhu Zhuqing being dragged away, Dai Mubai was furious. Helpless, he could only turn his pleading eyes to Flander.
Flander, seeing another student being taken away, darkened, but it was also related to Dai Mubai's life.
"Wait. You two little girls think so little of me? You can leave, but you can't take Zhu Zhuqing."
Hearing this, Xiao Wu immediately got angry. Does this academy think it can force people to stay?
"What do you mean? Zhuqing is just a student. She can come and go as she pleases."
Flander, seeing the situation escalate, immediately released his martial soul, exerting the pressure of a Soul Saint directly on Xiao Wu.
"In my academy, I am the rule. Let go of Zhu Zhuqing, and you two can leave."
Flander was also feeling helpless. He hadn't wanted to do this, but his old partner, Yu Xiaogang, kept giving him hints, so he had no choice.
He was looking forward to the Elite Soul Master Tournament. If Shrek Academy could shine in the competition, it could take the academy to the next level.
Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong glared at Flander, their faces dark with anger. They were on the verge of exploding. Grandma hadn't even used her power to bully people, and now he was about to bully them with force?
The little cat's expression grew dim as she slowly pulled her hand away from Ning Rongrong.
"Thank you, but as he said, maybe this is my fate. You two should go back. Don't worry about me, I'm just a worthless life."

Chapter 128: The Appearance of Da Ming
Ning Rongrong looked at Flander with an expression of anger and, after a long while, gritted her teeth and said,
"Alright, alright, such a great Shrek Academy, my grandpa Sword and Grandpa Bone will come and talk to you."
Dai Mubai, who had been looking smug, suddenly changed his expression, and Flander also had a dark look as he glanced at the two difficult little girls, thinking to himself whether he should make sure they stayed here forever.
Tang San, standing beside them, once again placed his hands on the soul tool. Earlier, he was worried about trouble coming from their sect. But now, if the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect was coming, there was no need to hold back anymore. He could eliminate these two women who had a death wish and then leave in silence, quietly developing. It was just a shame he wouldn't be able to participate in the Continental Elite Soul Master Tournament.
Just as Flander and the others were still debating, a figure suddenly appeared behind Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong.
"You say your academy is the boss? I don't think so!"
Hearing that familiar voice, both girls turned around in surprise.
"Da Ming?"
"Da Ming, someone is bullying Sister Xiao Wu. Come quickly and help me teach them a lesson."
Flander, seeing the man in the snake robe, cursed in his heart, realizing things were going badly. He quickly bowed respectfully.
"Sir, you are from the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, right? We didn't mean to offend. We just want to maintain the authority of the academy."
Da Ming smiled at the two girls and, after hearing Flander's words, sneered.
"Authority? Let me show you what real authority is."
With that, a terrifying aura pressed down on Flander.
Flander groaned, and a trace of blood dripped from the corner of his mouth.
"Title Douluo?"
"Besides Sword and Bone, there are other Title Douluo in the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect?"
Flander had originally planned to reason with them, but seeing the situation, he immediately changed to a more humble attitude.
"Your Excellency, we wouldn't dare challenge you. We have no authority in front of you."
Ning Rongrong and Xiao Wu looked at Flander's second expression with disdain, realizing how much he was afraid of power.
"Oh? You don't want authority anymore?"
"No, no, we don't!"
Seeing that they had backed down, Da Ming didn't plan to speak with him any longer. Instead, he cast a grim look at Tang San.
"Kid, you tried to kill them twice, right?"
"Shit!"
Yu Xiaogang, seeing that Da Ming was focusing on his precious disciple, quickly climbed to his feet. Indeed, under Da Ming's pressure, the master had already collapsed to the ground.
"Sir, could we talk for a moment?"
"Spit it out quickly, I'm not here to chat. Tell that little brat to come out front."
Seeing that Da Ming wasn't going to give him face, Yu Xiaogang thought for a moment and then decided to reveal his trump card in front of everyone.
"This child's father is Tang Hao, the youngest Title Douluo on the continent. Please don't make a mistake."
The Shrek students, who were unaware of this, immediately looked at Tang San with shock and a hint of envy.
Da Ming, however, looked at Yu Xiaogang with a mocking smile, thinking that this man might be insane—threatening him with a dead man?
"Tang Hao? So what? If he comes, I'll beat him up along with you. I'll say it again—tell the kid behind you to come out. What's the matter? You can sneak attack, but you can't admit it?"
Knowing that Ning Bei had his plans, Da Ming wasn't going to reveal that Tang Hao was already out of the picture. His target was now Tang San, the one who had murderous intent toward Xiao Wu.
Yu Xiaogang, looking at Da Ming, was stunned. "You really want to hurt the son of Tang Hao? Do you know who Tang Hao is? He's the guy who could kill even the Pope Qian Xunji. You're going to mess with his son?"
Seeing that Yu Xiaogang and Flander were about to speak again, Da Ming lost his patience. With a snap of his fingers, he sent the two flying and gathered lightning in his hands, preparing to deliver a Heavenly Extermination Thunder to Tang San.
Tang San was crushed under the oppressive aura of a Title Douluo and could barely move. His mind was full of fury.
"Damned bastard, you have a huge death wish. If I don't die, I'll come after you for your life."
Just as Da Ming was about to attack, a terrifying presence that only he could perceive locked onto him from the heavens above.
Seeing this, Da Ming quickly withdrew his lightning, deep in thought as he looked at the trembling Tang San.
"No wonder Ning Bei only dares to act secretly, with a god behind this kid. It seems I need to be careful."
Seeing that Da Ming had withdrawn his aura, Flander, struggling to get up, was a bit confused. He thought Da Ming was still wary of Tang Hao's power.
"Alright, let the younger ones handle their own matters. Rongrong, Xiao Wu, let's go."
Xiao Wu was still a bit confused about why Da Ming let them go, but before she could ask anything, Ning Rongrong grabbed her arm, and she immediately saw her friends signaling to her, swallowing her words.
Ning Rongrong, seeing that today's matters had ended, hurried to Zhu Zhuqing's side and, pulling her hand, signaled Da Ming and Xiao Wu to walk outside the academy with her.
Only the Shrek students were left with gloomy expressions.
After a while, Flander, clutching his chest, shakily made his way to the wall a hundred meters away. He sighed deeply before pulling Yu Xiaogang out from between the cracks in the wall. The master had already passed out.
Today had been a huge loss. A few students had escaped, and he had gotten injured, probably not recovering for ten days. Not to mention, the master's cultivation was even lower—when he would wake up was uncertain.
...
On the return carriage, Xiao Wu finally voiced the confusion she had been holding in.
"Da Ming, why didn't you make a move? Those guys should have been no match for you."
Before Da Ming could speak, Ning Rongrong looked at Xiao Wu, clearly anxious.
"Why are you asking such a stupid question? Of course, he couldn't attack them. Otherwise, Da Ming would have smashed them to pieces already."
Da Ming nodded, agreeing with Ning Rongrong's point.
"Why not?"
"That kid has a god behind him. It's not something I can mess with."
"Ah?"
Xiao Wu was filled with questions. That sneaky old man was actually chosen by a god? What kind of god would make such a choice? An evil god?
Then she turned to Ning Rongrong with more questions.
"Rongrong, how did you figure this out? You're even worse than me. I didn't realize it."
Ning Rongrong rolled her eyes at her friend, clearly exasperated. "You're the one who's bad. Your whole family's bad. Can't you speak properly?"
"When I was little, I would always pester my brother to tell me bedtime stories. One of those stories was about Tang San's dad, and it seemed like he had some connection to the Shura God."
"Ah? Why didn't I hear Big Brother Ning Bei talk about that?"
"Hmm? It's simple. When I was little, I would always make my brother put me to bed. You could climb into my brother's bed too, and maybe he told you stories about the god king."
"Ah!"
Xiao Wu's face instantly turned red, and her hands instinctively reached around Ning Rongrong's waist.
"Haha, don't do that! I'm sorry!"
Laughter echoed through the carriage, and Zhu Zhuqing quietly listened to their conversation. While she felt a little surprised, there was also a hint of envy.
Other people's brothers would care for their sisters and tell them bedtime stories to help them sleep. As for her sister... well, that was a story best left untold.
Seeing the little cat's expression grow more and more forlorn, Ning Rongrong and Xiao Wu stopped their playful banter.
"Zhuqing, don't worry. Join the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect with us. You won't be able to stay in the Star Luo Empire anyway."
The little cat's expression shifted, her eyes widening.
"Wouldn't that trouble you?"
Ning Rongrong quickly waved her hand, reassuring her.
"There are only a few Title Douluo in the Star Luo Empire. Do you think they'd bother coming all the way to the Heaven Dou Empire to cause trouble for the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect just because of you?"
"That's true."
Zhu Zhuqing shook her head, indicating she didn't have such great importance.
"Even if all the Title Douluo of the Star Luo Empire came, we'd be fine. Our Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect has more Title Douluo than they do."
The little cat glanced at Da Ming but didn't argue with Ning Rongrong's words. Still, there was a lingering concern in her heart.
"So why would your family help an outsider like me?"

Chapter 129: Distributing Immortal Herbs to the Three Girls
Ning Rongrong immediately broke into a mischievous smile upon hearing this.
"Hmm, you make a good point."
Zhu Zhuqing's expression darkened again, but this was a normal reaction. After all, she wasn't a close relative, and she wasn't an exceptional genius either. Why would anyone go to such great lengths for her?
"How about you marry my brother and become my sister-in-law? That way, you won't be considered an outsider anymore."
"Ah?"
Zhu Zhuqing's face immediately turned bright red, and she thought about that figure she had only seen briefly. For some reason, she didn't feel repulsed at all.
"No way!"
Before the little cat could say anything, the little rabbit was already objecting. However, after her rebuttal, her face remained flushed, and there was no further discussion.
Ning Rongrong understood her new friend's feelings and mischievously grinned again.
"Oh! I get it! Xiao Wu wants to be my sister-in-law too, huh? Looks like Zhuqing's situation is still up for consideration!"
"Ah! You little brat, stop saying nonsense!"
After saying that, she pounced on her sister, and another round of teasing filled the carriage.
This time, however, there was an extra steam-powered cat.
After a while, the carriage finally quieted down.
"By the way, Da Ming, where's my brother? Why are you the one here to pick us up?"
Da Ming, feeling pleased that the girls finally remembered him, smiled.
"Ning Bei had something to take care of, so he asked me to protect you."
"Hmph, that annoying brother of mine. I think he's just having fun and didn't bring us along!"
Two days later, the group had not made many stops and had returned to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect. Ning Rongrong, along with her two friends, knocked on Ning Bei's door.
"Stinky brother, you said you were busy, but you're just sitting here at home, huh?"
Ning Bei looked at the angry Ning Rongrong and the little cat behind her with confusion.
"What's going on? Aren't you supposed to be with Shrek in Heaven Dou City?"
After Da Ming explained everything, Ning Bei finally understood the situation. He hadn't expected the two girls to get fed up with Shrek's group so quickly, and he hadn't thought they would bring the little cat back so soon.
Ning Rongrong, using the excuse that he hadn't taken her out to play, extended her delicate hand and demanded a gift.
After thinking for a moment, Ning Bei felt it was time to give these girls some support, so he flipped his hand, and the Dan Tower appeared.
He handed over a Qiluo Tulip and two Water Fairy Bone Herbs to the three girls. After all, with the upcoming Continental Elite Soul Master Tournament, the few young ones from the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect wouldn't be enough. These three girls were just the right fit.
Ning Rongrong and Xiao Wu were already familiar with the wonders of the immortal herbs, and their faces were filled with excitement as they looked at the Qiluo Tulip and the Water Fairy Bone Herbs in their hands.
Zhu Zhuqing, on the other hand, was a bit confused. Holding the immortal herb, she looked at the two girls with uncertainty.
Seeing the confusion in the little cat's eyes, Ning Rongrong hurriedly explained.
"This is a rare immortal herb, each one is a creation of the heavens, and after consuming it, it can greatly benefit your martial soul and soul power. Even if it doesn't allow your martial soul to evolve, it can still give you several levels of soul power improvement."
Zhu Zhuqing's eyes widened in surprise, and she immediately looked anxiously at Ning Bei.
"Th-this... Is it really okay for me to use this? I can't accept it."
Ning Bei looked at Zhu Zhuqing, who was still able to resist the urge to accept the treasure, and nodded slightly. This was much more human than someone eagerly accepting an entire hotpot of food.
"Take it. Rongrong doesn't have much combat ability. If you feel uncomfortable accepting it, just make sure to protect her more in the future."
"This..."
Hearing Ning Bei's words, Zhu Zhuqing felt a wave of emotion. Power was exactly what she needed right now, but she still hesitated. She already owed Ning Bei quite a bit, and accepting this immortal herb would mean she could never repay him in this lifetime.
Ning Rongrong noticed her hesitation and quickly tried to persuade her.
"Come on, Zhuqing, just accept it. You don't want Xiao Wu and I to become Soul Kings or Soul Emperors while you're still just a Soul Grandmaster, do you?"
"This..."
The little cat's desire grew stronger after hearing that.
Ning Rongrong, seeing this, couldn't help but smile mischievously.
"Zhuqing, didn't we agree before that you'd marry my brother and give him ten or so little cats? You won't be worried about owing us a favor then, will you?"
Hearing this, the little cat's face turned bright red, and she nervously glanced at Ning Bei. Seeing him staring at her with a strange expression, she quickly shot Ning Rongrong a fierce glare.
"You little brat, stop saying nonsense. I'll seal your mouth with glue if you keep talking."
Ning Rongrong immediately put on a scared expression, squeezed her way to Ning Bei's side, and hugged his arm, looking up at him with teary eyes.
"Brother, look at my little sister-in-law, she's already planning to bully me before even officially entering the family. You can't forget about me, your beautiful, obedient, and cute sister, just because you have a wife now!"
"Ahhhhh!!!"
Ning Rongrong's teasing caused the little cat to explode, and the two girls started fighting.
"Ah, sister-in-law, I'm sorry, don't tickle me!"
"I'll make you talk, you little brat!"
Ning Bei looked at the two girls as they fought, feeling helpless. How could his sister have a talent for matchmaking? It was quite amusing, actually. When he rewarded her with sugar-roasted chestnuts next time, he'd consider going easy on her.
Ning Bei glanced at Xiao Wu, who seemed to be watching the fight with a strange expression. If he wasn't mistaken, was that envy?
What's there to envy? If she wanted to join in, she could! I really don't understand what this woman is thinking.
Little did he know, the little rabbit was actually envious of how easily Ning Rongrong had made the little cat accept the role of sister-in-law.
A few minutes later, Zhu Zhuqing finally calmed down, brushing away the mischievous hand that had been causing trouble, blushing as she stood up.
"Well, Ning Bei, don't listen to Rongrong's nonsense, I didn't..."
Ning Bei rolled his eyes. "I'm not imagining things either. I haven't even completely solved things with that jealous little angel at home. If she finds out I have another new sister, she'll probably be angry for a long time and refuse to go to the Ice God Palace with me."
"Don't worry, I'm not thinking anything strange. Just take the immortal herb and focus on cultivating."
Zhu Zhuqing nodded heavily, letting out a sigh of relief. Yet for some reason, she still felt a faint sense of loss in her heart.
"Brother, how do I take the immortal herb? Do I just eat it directly?"
"The Qiluo Tulip can be consumed directly."
Ning Bei answered his sister's question and then looked at Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing.
"For the Water Fairy Bone Herb, just eat the petals and suck on the flower's stamen, then channel your soul power into it."
The two girls nodded, signaling that they understood.
The three of them happily rushed out of Ning Bei's room, looking for a place to absorb the immortal herbs. They didn't want to waste any time experiencing the feeling of being empowered.
Ning Bei watched their backs, resting his hand on his chin, deep in thought.
"With them, along with Long Nianbing, Ah Du, and Ye Yinzhu, there are only six of them. It seems I'll need to find a few more powerful people. If it doesn't work, I can ask Yan Zi to back us up. A Soul Emperor's strength is still manageable."
With this in mind, Ning Bei planned to discuss the tournament arrangements with Dugu Yan after returning from the sea. After all, the Spirit Hall's Golden Generation had three Soul Kings.
This decision made Ning Bei feel a bit embarrassed, though. Having his women help another woman's reputation seemed shameless no matter how he looked at it.
But for the sake of future happiness, Ning Bei thought, "What's pride? It's gone!"

Chapter 130: Han Hai City
During the days of rest, Ning Bei also reorganized the resources he currently had.
The divine soul ring he had received, he decided not to attach it to the Dan Tower for now; it was far more prudent to reserve it for his Snow Woman Martial Soul.
This was because the second martial soul's properties were too singular, and finding suitable high-aged soul beasts to match was incredibly difficult. Even if the Ice Emperor became his soul ring, he still wouldn't be able to gather nine soul rings. He wasn't about to settle for a ten-thousand-year Ice Attribute soul beast.
The Soul Spirit Method, which had already been initiated during the Snow Emperor's sacrifice to help shape his martial soul and condense his soul rings, had already established a similar contract. However, this contract was not like that of the peerless Tang Sect, which could allow a soul beast to regrow its physical body.
The basic content of the contract was Ning Bei's promise to give the soul beast freedom and eternal life once he became a god, while the Snow Emperor helped him form his second martial soul and condense his soul rings.
This method couldn't be widely applied for now. It would take time before he could truly research and develop a genuine Soul Spirit Method.
Next were the countless immortal herbs. After years of cultivation in the Dan Tower, the now-mature Qiluo Tulip and two Water Fairy Bone Herbs had all been distributed.
The Ghost Orchid and the Primordial Grass had also grown into individual plants, while there were two each of the Rare Mushroom Sky-Breaking Chrysanthemum and the Chicken-Crown Phoenix Sunflower. He planned to distribute these to a few of the younger generation within his sect.
Once he had finished preparing, Ning Bei didn't want to waste any more time. He called for Jian, Gu, and Ning Fengzhi, and the four of them directly headed to Han Hai City, a coastal city located at the southernmost edge of the Heaven Dou Empire.
The group flew all the way, and as they got closer to the coast, they could clearly feel the humidity in the air increasing.
Once they arrived at Han Hai City, they decided to rest for the night before heading out to sea.
The four didn't plan to take a ship, since three of them could fly. As for Ning Fengzhi, he only needed to bring Chen Xin along. The ship's speed was simply too slow.
The night passed uneventfully, and the next morning, the four of them headed straight to the beach.
Looking at the vast sea, Ning Fengzhi couldn't help but feel a sense of uncertainty.
"Bei'er, are you sure about this? This is like trying to find a needle in a haystack, right? And we're looking for a hundred-thousand-year soul beast."
Ning Bei smiled at Ning Fengzhi. Since he had already decided to come here, how could he not have made adequate preparations?
With similar expressions from the others, Ning Bei summoned the Dan Tower.
With a flash of light, Da Ming appeared before them.
"Da Ming, this time we need to find two suitable hundred-thousand-year soul beasts. It's going to be hard work, but we'll need your help."
Da Ming understood their intentions and casually waved his hand, not caring at all. He had enjoyed so many benefits from staying in the Dan Tower that doing this small task was nothing.
He then transformed into his true form and dove into the sea.
Ning Fengzhi and the others finally understood Ning Bei's plan, and all of them gave him a thumbs up. "You really are a genius."
After a bit of humble chatter, Ning Bei summoned Yao Yao and performed the Three-Room Two-Hall Technique on the beach.
While the group roasted some food, they waited for news from Da Ming.
Just as they were preparing to eat, the Dan Tower moved again.
Ning Bei shook his head in exasperation. "You can't go one meal without getting involved."
He flipped his right hand and released Qiu´er, who immediately ran to the barbecue grill.
"You didn't call me for the good food, you bad guy."
Ning Fengzhi stared in awe at the stunning, graceful woman in front of him.
"Bei'er, who is this?"
Ning Bei tapped his head. He had forgotten to introduce Qiu´er earlier.
"This is Qiu´er, the golden little lion that transformed earlier."
The three of them nodded in understanding and then went to join in the barbecue feast. Even they couldn't resist the delicious aroma.
Ning Bei rolled his eyes, realizing that they had misunderstood.
Sure enough, they turned back to look at the empty grill, their faces full of confusion. "Where did all that food go? I didn't even get a chance to try it!"
There, they saw Qiu´er, resembling the Flame Spirit Princess, lying lazily on the ground, contentedly patting her slightly swollen belly.
After finishing her meal, Qiu´er looked at Ning Bei and let out a light "hmm."
She then walked over to Ning Bei, gently sniffing his body.
"Why do you have this strange, indescribable scent on you?"
Ning Bei, feeling awkward with her so close, quickly took a step back and looked at her.
"You must be talking about the Ice God's power on me."
"Ice God?"
Ning Bei nodded slightly. He thought to himself that, as expected of the Emperor-level divine beast, even the aura that Da Ming and the others couldn't sense, Qiu´er—who hadn't even reached five thousand years of cultivation—could detect.
After a moment of curiosity, Qiu´er lost interest, took Ning Bei's hand, and led him into the Three-Room Two-Hall. She pushed him onto the bed.
"I'm full now. Hold me while I take a nap."
"Ah?"
Ning Bei stood there dumbfounded, looking at Qiu´er in his arms, glancing nervously at Ning Fengzhi and the others outside the room.
The three of them noticed his glance and immediately turned their eyes away, acting as though nothing was happening.
"Ahem, Jian, Gu, should we go find a place to fish?"
"Yeah, let's go."
"Uncle Jian, Uncle Gu, wait for me!"
Seeing the three leave, Ning Bei sighed in relief, but he still felt a bit awkward. He quickly patted Qiu´er, who was already sleeping soundly in his arms.
But all he got in response was her soft snoring.
Ning Bei sighed helplessly. "This is torture."
The sun by the sea was very warm, and before he knew it, Ning Bei fell asleep.
It wasn't until the sun began to set that he was awakened by the returning trio.
"Bei'er, come out. Da Ming is back."
Hearing the call, Ning Bei quickly woke up, placing the still-sleeping Qiu´er back into the Dan Tower and stepping outside the grass hut.
"Did you find anything, Da Ming?"
"Yes, about four hundred kilometers southwest in the deep sea, there's a hundred-thousand-year Coral Spirit Turtle."
"Coral Spirit Turtle?"
The three of them looked at Da Ming in surprise, and he nodded in affirmation.
It wasn't that they hadn't heard of this soul beast. In fact, it was quite common, even in the central part of the continent. They frequently saw these creatures in Han Hai City.
The Coral Spirit Turtle was to the sea what the Soft Bone Rabbit was to the Star Dou Forest. It wasn't everywhere, but it was common enough to be seen frequently. However, it wasn't yet common enough to be considered a staple.
Not far from the beach, a ten-year-old Coral Spirit Turtle was basking in the sun.
As the group thought about the young ones back at home, they slowly regained their calm.
"If Xiao Wu can cultivate to a hundred-thousand years, why can't the Coral Spirit Turtle?"
"Father, do you have any ideas?"
After a moment of thought, Ning Fengzhi gave a definitive reply.
"Let's go with this turtle. If it can cultivate to a hundred-thousand years, it must have some unique qualities, just like Xiao Wu."
"Moreover, soul masters have absorbed soul rings from the Coral Spirit Turtle before. There's a high chance they'll gain a defensive soul skill, which should be a good fit for my Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda."
Ning Bei thought about Ning Rongrong's ninth soul skill, Nine Treasure Invincible Light, and nodded. Since it was highly likely that it would be this soul skill, the type of soul beast didn't matter much as long as the age was sufficient.
Jian and Gu also nodded in agreement with Ning Fengzhi's opinion.
The group then decided to head toward the location Da Ming had pointed out.
