Lance watched the interaction between the two with some amusement, starting to get a bit theatrical, huh?
It's really hard to say anything clearly about Margaret's situation, not even Lance can help, because the Earl is already dead, so all secrets are buried with him.
"Alright, let's catch up later, let's discuss business first."
"Who are you?"
After Lance spoke, he finally drew Bruce's attention, or perhaps provided him a way to change the subject.
"Your father must often talk about me in your presence, maybe he considered me your enemy, but facts showed him who the real enemy is."
Lance uttered a strange, enigmatic comment, making Bruce somewhat conflicted, when did his father ever mention a foe?
"This gentleman is the Lord of Hamlet, the real owner of this land."
Lawrence couldn't bear to watch anymore, reminding with a hint of shirking responsibility, as if indicating to Bruce—he is the real mastermind.
