In the Steppe alone, tribes would hold on to blood debt sometimes even until each of the tribe dies.
The people of Yan did not understand this and hence they did not understand why some tribes would never surrender to them regardless of what they offered
Yan people are profit oriented people.
They believe everything revolves around profit.
And that is not entirely wrong.
Profit and interest bind many people.
But not everyone.
Sometimes, some people did not do thing just because it is in his interest and just because it is profitable.
There are people who transcend all that and there are some people who scoffed at it
Some people just wanted to be worthy of their hearts.
In other words, the Yan people learn to compromise. The more you compromise, the more you extinguish bravery.
The past events haunted Yan and sow these seeds of contention between the people of other races and people of Yan.
