Still feeling a bit of a shake in his palm, Di Tou took out a broom and began sweeping… After sweeping two or three rounds, Di Tou could tell that the hole in his flesh had disappeared, at least on the surface… as there was still quite a bit missing on the inside… Still feeling a bit weak… Although this was mainly a mental thing, Di Tou took a break from sweeping, and found a quiet spot on the moonlit platform a little bit further away from where he had mutilated himself earlier and did some self investigation…
The important thing to note was whether or not the mark was still there. After all, although Di Tou 'saw' the mark on a piece of his flesh, the Heavens although real and an actual presence in the world of cultivation, were as a whole more a Spiritual or Philosophical existence… Whether or not cutting off a piece of flesh would remove the mark of the Heaven's still remained to be seen.
