Although life had ended up taking an unexpected turn, giving Old Gao, whose age meant that it was all but impossible for him to succeed at cultivation a chance to not only cultivate, but to cultivate towards peaks that most people would never know, Old Gao still had a love for what he had done almost his entire life.
Breakfast!
It was just that nowadays, between needing to tend the library, and the fact that his current constitution didn't really need to eat all that much, and what he did need to eat could be supplemented by pills, Old Gao didn't go out to eat all that often anymore. At most, he would make some light buns in his private quarters, as they were relatively easy to clean up, and served as a nice light breakfast.
It had indeed been quite a while since he had gone on a little breakfast spree!
With reinvigorated passion, and the determination to make a dent in Di Tou's wallet, Old Gao set off, with Di Tou trailing a few feet behind.
