As he approached the back of the Maw, which was currently thrashing and advancing towards the palm, Di Tou's eyes flashed, and he took the dissipating broom from his previous feint attack and chucked it ahead of him, while slightly changing his angle. As he did so, he watched two sharp tendrils shoot out the back of the Living Realm Fracture, grasping the broom and tearing it into pieces, while undergoing the familiar process of breaking down and growing back up again.
Watching this, Di Tou let out a frown. Indeed, although the Maw didn't seem to be the highest in terms of intelligence, at the very least its instincts were good and it was able to identify threats, as well as keep a few tricks hidden up its sleeve.
