As soon as I go in I bolt for my room, I just want to get out of this dress, wash my make up off and slip into my soft PJ's. I climb into bed and try forget about tonight. It was such as disaster. Jason showed no effort and to top the cake he spent most of his time catching up with an old friend. It's decided, I'm going to let the relationship go in whatever direction it is heading although there's only one direction. A break up.
*Knock*
Charlotte gently pushes my door open. "Hey babe, you okay?"
"Yeah what's up?" I say avoiding the obvious
"Nothing, just wanted to ask how your date went?" she says leaning against the door frame
"Not good, he took me to the crab shack" I press my lips together "And he ran into an old friend there, by the time he finished catching up I had nearly finished my food" Charlotte is looking at me with her eyes wide
"You're not serious? I thought he was trying to make up for forgetting your anniversary not make it worst. I can't believe this"
"Yeah, I don't really care Char, it is what it is" I sigh
"I'm sorry babe, I don't know what to say anymore"

Charlotte waltz in the kitchen with Christian, they're laughing and Christian has his arm over her shoulder.
"Argh you two get a room" I laugh, putting my hand over my eyes
"We were just in the room" Christian says laughing
"How's our girl doing?" Christian leans over the counter across me
"I'm okay, tired mostly. you?"
"Meh, been better. Char been keeping me up all night" he laughs
"Nice " I laugh
" More like he's keeping me up" she pokes him
"Anyway, I have something exciting to tell you" she smirks at me
"I spoke to my parents this morning and they want to take a trip to our summer Villa in the south of France and I want you to come with! Christian is coming and if you want to,Jason can come too" she smiles at me
I have seen pictures of Charlotte's parents summer villa before it looks amazing, it's right in front of a private beach. The thought of being away and relaxing made me so excited. I need a break, I deserve a break.
"Yes yes yes and did I say yes" she laughs
"Great I knew you'd be happy, We'll be leaving in two weeks. So you have enough time to let work know"
"No worries I'll let send them an email today"
"Yes! get Jason to come we'll have a blast! He would love to go too, he's been talking about taking a break for the longest time" Christian grins at me
"Yeah, I guess. I'll text him to ask" to be completely honest I wasn't sure if I wanted Jason to come. Whether he came or not didn't bother me, a holiday is just what I need.
"Great! OMG I can't wait we're going to have so much fun" She smile widely. After breakfast I text Jason.

Charlotte's parents has invited all of us to come down to their summer villa in two weeks, just wondered if you wanted to come with us? Christian said you've been wanting to get away? It would be great for us, but if you're busy with work I understand "

Yeah that sounds amazing! of course I'll come babe. I'll let work know today

During the two weeks leading to our vacay, me and Charlotte planned; our days out, where we would be eating, the beaches we'll go to and some other activities. Charlotte also helped me pick out some cute and sexy outfits. Despite me trying to intervene Charlotte ended up choosing most of the outfits and bikinis I was taking with me. Some a little too revealing but she managed to convince me to take them with me. According to her I was playing too safe with my clothing choices, unfortunately she was right and I loved the stuff she choose.
Jason popped by a few times to see me but I have a feeling that it was mostly because Chris has been staying at ours a lot more lately. We did exchange texts here and there but nothing special just keeping up with each other. I felt relieved that he was as uninterested as I was at least when the relationship ends none of us will get hurt.

After a long flight and an hour's drive we finally get to the villa. It is as beautiful as the pictures I have seen. The villa was all white, the first floor was surrounded by a glass balcony, there were colourful flowers all around the property and you could see the beautiful blue sea stretching behind the villa. I am in heaven, I can't wait for what's to come in the next 7 days we are here.
"Charlotte!" Eva Shouts with her arms open walking towards us.
"Mom!" Charlotte runs to her and kisses her
"My darling! How are you? How was the flight?"
"I'm great mom. The flight was okay, Christian got a little bit sick towards the end" she says turning to look at Christian who is pulling in the suitcases
"I'll have some medicine ready for him" she smiles softly
"Lina, oh my. I haven't seen you in ages, how are you?" she says hugging me.
"I know, it's overdue. I'm okay thank you, you?" I hug her
"I'm good my darling! And who's this gentleman?" she smiles at Jason
"Eva, this is Jason...my erm..boyfriend"
"Nice to meet you, and thank you for inviting us" Jason gives her a large smile
"Pleasure is mine, we needed to get this villa lively again"
"Come on, come on. I've got some fresh lemonade ready for you guys" she says walking into the villa.
After having our refreshments and catching up we all shoot upstairs. Me and Jason took a room on the first floor. We had a beautiful view of the sea and the beach. It was the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen, the smell of salt and the warm air made me relax instantly. We spent around an hour unpacking our things and settling into the villa.I've put on a cute purple bikini and have my hair in a top bun. I have paired it with a mesh dress on top, I look hot!
*Knock*
"Come in"
"Oh my gosh! I told you this was a winner" Charlotte says walking in
I laugh "I know I know, you look great too Char" She's wearing a one piece bikini with a wrap around her hip and a large hat.
"Thanks babe, I'm really feeling myself" she smiles
"So the boys are in the games room, they're playing pool and drinking so there's no point even disturbing them. You want to chill by the pool and relax?"
"Yeah, I'm still a bit tired from the flight" I say softly
We lay by the pool in the warm sun, god it feels so good. This is the most relaxed I have been in a very long time. I am so determined to enjoy every single second of this. Before I knew it I fell asleep on the chair. I woke up and realised the sun had shifted from where I was sitting, so I must have been sleeping for an hour or so. It was still so warm. I sit up looking at the pool, it looks so refreshing. I slip off my mesh dress and walk to the pool. I slowly step in, the water instantly cooling my tan skin. I swim all the way to the other end and push myself off of the edge and swim back to the the shallow end.
As I am walking out of the water I see a towel along with a tattooed muscular arm and hand in front of me. Cold blue eyes meet my warm brown eyes . My eyes trailing from his eyes to his full lips and back to his eyes. It was as if everything was in slow motion, I watch his lashes bat before a rough and raspy voice came out of his mouth.
"Towel?" I clear my throat realising I'm dripping wet and have been staring a little too hard. I grab it from him his eyes were holding mine hostage. "Thank you" my voice came out small and soft. I quickly look away and wrap the towel around my figure. I look back him, he looks tanned like he had been in the sun a lot. His hair is short, his body was wide, big and muscular. He was so tall that he towered over me.
"No problem"
"Simon!" He shifts his gaze towards the voice calling his name. Charlotte ran towards him and jumped in his arm. He spun her around and hugged her tightly.
"Hey sis" he says as she kissed his cheeks.
"Is that where dad went? to pick you up?!" she says looking at Eva who had just walked out in the garden.
"Simon! Is that my simon?" she says opening her arms out.
She hugs him tightly. "Nice to see you too Eva" he says smiling at her. I didn't know he called her by her actual name. And I didn't know he was back or going to be here with us. I couldn't tear my eyes away from him, he was so handsome.
"Simon I want you to meet my best friend and sister Lina" I smile at him and he gives me a tight smile back
"Christian and Jason are in the games room, come meet them" she says pulling him away.
After meeting everyone and talking to us for a bit Simon retreated to his room to settle down. Eva wanted to make Simon a home cooked meal. So me, Charlotte and her mom cooked dinner while the men played pool.
"Here take this to the boys" Eva says handing me a plater with olives and other snack. I walk into the playroom Charlotte's dad, Michael is chatting and playing pool with Jason and Christian. They're laughing barely realising I've walked in with snacks.
I glance over to the mini bar where Simon is sitting, leaning back with his elbow propping him up and his legs stretched out. I walk over to him.
"Your mom wanted me to bring these to you guys" I explain placing it on the counter. His eyes seem cold and dark.
"Thanks" he said his voice rough.
"Babe!" Jason laughs walking towards me
"Come play with us" he wraps his arm around me loosely
"I'll come play in a sec just going to check if Eva still needs help" I smile at him
"Okay babe" he lets got of me and carries on with his joking with Christian. I glance up at Simon and our eyes meet again. He seemed very quiet, there was just something about him every time our eyes met I felt uneasy and nervous.
"How's he been mom?" Charlotte ask as I walk in
"He's okay I guess, you know him. He bottles things up" Eva sighs
"Just give him some time. He's been through so much" she strokes charlotte's back.
"Do you still need help?" I ask
"No no, everything under control you girls go. The housekeeper will help me with the rest, go go." she says pushing us out of the kitchen
We walk back to the playroom and Charlotte runs to Christian hugging his waist. He turns around and kisses her. I look at Jason who hasn't even notice that I am here, he's on his phone texting.
"Let's play, boys against girls" Charlotte jumps up and down smiling.
"Right let's go" Christian claps
"Jay you playing with us?" He looks at Christian and shakes his head.
"Nah I'm pretty tired I'm going to go rest up for a bit"
" Come on! One game" I pout at him
"I wish I could babe but I'm beat" he walks to me and kisses my cheeks before leaving.
" I'll play" Simon says
"Okay Simon and Lina against me and Chris"
