Hastily opening her phoenix eyes she looked at the familiar marble floor.
Her knees bruised and her body shuddered at the female voice sounded.
"Jo An quick, apologize to your father,huh!"
'mum?!' her brains couldn't help but go numb at that voice she forced herself to look at the woman who had just spoken.
She felt extremely happy but....sad at the same time....she couldn't believe she was seeing her mother.
The woman who had just spoken looked extremely weak and pale yet her similar phoenix eyes made her look elegant and loving to her daughter who was on the floor with assurance.
"Look,this un grateful child ,won't even apologize after the sever beating , she must be courting death."another woman snorted.
Xia Jo An couldn't help but look at this woman indifferently .It was her stepmother the legal wife of the Xia family.
"Mum! let's give Jo An a chance to defend herself." said Xia Qing the legitimate daughter of Old Xia and Mu Xue.
"Old Xia ,this..." Lin Shu'er moyer to Xia Jo An wanted to say something but was interrupted by Jo An.

Apparently things had become clearer to her now she was not dreaming the pain on her body and the voices of these people sounded more clear.

That night it was obviously He Zhou who had asked her to meet him at the bar making the excuse that he was drunk and only thought of her in this situation.
Blinded by love she didn't think twice before going there.
On arrival,she found him in the private suite.
He looked totally fine . Didn't he say that he was drunk.

He Zhou didn't say anything but continued to force Jo An to drink the Wine.

Seeing that he pleads didn't work she stretched her hand to grab a bottle...but her actions were noticed faster.

This audio was played in the living room and the voices sounded like something was happening between them.
"You ungrateful wretch! "Old Xia when was silent the whole time barked at Xia Jo An as soon as the audio ended.
