This was Suga's first time leaving the house without Zion. Gale, who was assigned as his guard for the day, accompanied him to the Hughes mansion. The distance wasn't far, so the trip didn't take long. Earlier, Suga had been a little hesitant, feeling nervous about possibly running into other members of the Hughes family. But as if reading his thoughts, William had told him that his parents were often out of town, and the others were busy with work— so in that large Hughes mansion, it was basically just William.
That eased Suga a little. It wasn't that he didn't want to meet the Hughes family— he just hadn't been able to shake off his nervousness whenever it came to interacting with them.
