The older man reached into his pocket, pulling out a wallet. From it, he slid out a card and handed it to Suga. Suga accepted it and quickly checked the name printed there.
'I'm Zion's father.'
The words made Suga's eyes widen. He turned to Benjamin, silently asking if he'd heard correctly. Benjamin, understanding the look, gave a small nod.
Suga looked back at the man. This time, he studied his features more closely. When their eyes met, the older man smiled warmly, a dimple appearing in his left cheek— and in that instant, Suga could see the resemblance to Zion. Lev Goldmann wore glasses, and his hair was brown with a clear reddish tint when the light hit it.
The likeness was undeniable.
Suga didn't know what to say. His mouth opened slightly, then closed again. He glanced at Benjamin for help. Perhaps sensing his nervousness, Mr. Goldmann's smile only softened further as he spoke gently.
