After giving the place a cursory glance, Logan sat down in the sitting room, Danny slipping in beside him. Zion just looked at the two of them with that typically unfriendly expression of his and replied, "That's none of your business." Logan chuckled at the curt answer, unfazed as always.
The house itself wasn't small, far from it. The ceilings stretched high above them, giving a sense of space, but the design carried a striking simplicity. There were no labyrinthine corridors or unnecessary wings— from where they sat, one could already see the staircase that led directly to the second floor.
