Reluctantly, Suga tried to release a bit of his pheromone. A faint mixture of fear blended with his neutral scent— an unavoidable outcome, since pheromones were often influenced by one's emotional state.
Hendrick, whose face was far too close to Suga's, immediately straightened up once he realized Suga had finally let out his pheromone.
His eyes widened in puzzlement as he stared at Suga, and now that Suga was no longer trapped beneath him, he finally let out a breath of relief.
"That can't be..."
As if refusing to believe what he was smelling, Hendrick leaned in again toward Suga's body. But Suga, catching sight of an empty alcohol bottle just above his head, reacted swiftly. Without hesitation, he grabbed it— and before he could stop himself, he smashed the bottle against the back of Hendrick's skull. The sound was sickening, and Hendrick let out a groan of pain just as Suga shoved him hard, sending the man toppling to the floor. Suga immediately scrambled off the table.
