Chapter 2: The Journey Begins
Jason couldn't believe what he was hearing. Reborn? Reincarnated into another world? He had so many questions, but he didn't even know where to start.
The leader of the group noticed Jason's confusion and offered, "You must have a lot of questions. Why don't you come with us? We're on a journey to the capital city of Azuris. Perhaps we can help answer some of them along the way."
Jason hesitated for a moment, but knew that he had little choice. He didn't know where he was or how to get back and these travelers seemed to be his only chance for survival in this unknown world.
"Okay," he said hesitantly. "I'll come with you. But can you tell me more about this Realm of Azuris? What kind of place is it?"
The leader nodded and explained, "Azuris is a land of magic and fantasy. There are dragons flying in the skies, trolls living in the mountains, and hidden treasures buried in the depths of the forests. But it's also a dangerous place. There are dark forces at work, and not everything in this world is as it seems."
Jason listened intently, wondering if he was really ready for a life of magic and adventure. It all seemed like a dream, and he couldn't shake the feeling that he would suddenly wake up back in his own world.
