As Yuzhen reached for the wedding attire, Zoe stopped him."Not that one…" He gestured toward the outfit Yuan had chosen for him.
Yuzhen helped Zoe change. While tying his hair, Zoe's thoughts drifted back—to the days when Yuzhen had helped him get ready as Ziya.
"Why are you suddenly smiling?" Yuzhen asked curiously.
"I was thinking about your past actions," Zoe replied softly. "You were so adorable back then."
Yuzhen looked at him through the mirror. "Am I not adorable now?"
Zoe turned to face him but stayed silent, clearly disagreeing. "Am I not?" Yuzhen pressed, his expression serious.
Unable to hold back, Zoe laughed. "You're always adorable in my eyes." He lightly patted Yuzhen's head.
"Why are you talking like an old man?" Yuzhen muttered. Though his words sounded dismissive, his reddened ears betrayed him.
