Chapter 200 - Chapter 200: Accepting Sakura's Confession

When Tsunade said that she wouldn't drink and gamble anymore, the door was already closed so she didn't know if Satoru heard it or not.

Drinking and gambling were not necessities of her life, let alone something necessary to bring her happiness, they were just means for her to numb herself.

If Konoha needed her to live a little more consciously, then she will do it to carry out her duties as a qualified Hokage.

For several days after the death of Sato Kento, Sakura noticed that something was wrong with Satoru.

Originally, after rejecting her confession to him, Satoru should hide as far away as possible, at least not to have too much contact with her until she, a child, sorts out her mood.

Even if she wouldn't be given ten to fifteen days, at least she should be given a week, right?

But on the second day after her confession, Satoru took the three of them to the mountain for training. Satoru brought bread for each of them, and Sakura noticed that her bread had been specially made with more jam.

This kind of extra care made Sakura feel very happy at first, but then she gradually felt that something was wrong.

It looked like some kind of compensation.

'Could it be that sensei is making up by doing this?'

'Why…? Is he giving up on me?'

Another day, when Satoru gave Sakura bread, Sakura didn't pick it up, but continued training stubbornly.

On the other hand, Sasuke and Naruto fought for most of the day, and they were so tired that they didn't even have the strength to chew bread. They laid on the ground like dead bodies, basking in the sun.

Satoru walked up to Sakura and stopped her.

"Don't train anymore, you have been practicing chakra-control for quite a while now, take a break."

"It's not enough."

Sakura continued to train after speaking, moving fast, like a rabbit out of a cage.

Satoru sighed helplessly, thinking about the little girl's awkwardness, and followed her up.

"Take a bite of bread."

"I will not eat!"

Sakura seemed to be in a hurry, and knocked off the bread with a wave of her hand.

The bread fell to the ground and was picked up by a crow.

'Ah! That's what Sensei made for us!'

Sakura's anger was instantly quenched by a basin of cold water, and she dared not look at Satoru's expression.

'Sensei must be angry, if I knew this would happen I would not have shown my temper.'

Satoru didn't even take a look at the bread, he kept paying attention to Sakura's state. She changed from a hedgehog into a well-behaved kitten in an instant.

'Is she afraid of me being angry?'

"Sakura, look up at me."

Sakura raised her head and stopped what Satoru was about to say, "I'm sorry sensei, I was wrong. I shouldn't lose my temper with you, sensei. It was my mistake! Please don't be angry!"

"Did I say I was angry with you?"

"You are an adult who is very rational, even if you are angry, how can a child like me tell it?"

'It's over, I talked back to sensei again!'

Sakura felt discouraged, maybe she and Satoru would really never have a relationship.

His words let Satoru catch a clue.

'Adult, child and rational? Is Sakura still angry about me rejecting her?'

As long as the reason was found, Satoru had the confidence to resolve it.

"Sakura, shall we have a good chat?"

These words seemed to touch Sakura's heart. She covered her ears and squatted on a tree branch, shouting loudly, "No! I don't want to talk to you!"

If Satoru draws a clear line again, maybe she won't even be able to come for the training.

'I'm really greedy, wouldn't it be better if I hadn't lost my temper?'

'Sensei was treating me kindly, even if it was for a reason, just be happy with it!'

The sound of Sakura's collapse attracted the two people lying dead on the ground, Naruto opened his eyes and asked, "Sensei, what's wrong with Sakura-chan?"

Sasuke didn't speak, but his eyes seemed to understand something, and he laid back silently and continued to rest with his eyes closed.

Seeing this, Satoru directly picked up Sakura, shuttled through the trees, and came to the river in a short while.

"Sensei, what are you doing!"

"I want to talk to you."

"I was wrong, I was really wrong, don't say any more."

Sakura sat on the ground covering her ears.

Satoru squatted down patiently, and pulled down the Sakura's hand.

"Sakura, why don't you let me speak? Are you afraid that what I will say is not what you want to hear?"

"..."

"But if what I want to say is what you want to hear, will you still react in this way?"

"Do you know what I want to hear? Don't coax me anymore, I don't want to hear anything!"

Sakura finally broke out, she knew she couldn't stop Satoru from speaking, so she could only take advantage of this last opportunity to express her feelings.

"I just like you! I'm not a child who's speaking without understanding its meaning. I'm already a teenage girl, I used to like a boy in the same grade, but then I realized that I like mature adults, the one I like is you! Whether you accept it or not…"

A gust of wind blew and cut off Sakura's words, and Satoru words seemed to be a little unreal to her.

Sakura raised her red eyes and looked at Satoru in disbelief.

"I.....I heard it right, you, you say it again!"

Satoru smiled, reached out and stroked her face.

"Well, I said, I accept it."

*Crack*

Sakura seemed to have something broken in her head.

Immediately afterwards, her eyes went dark, she couldn't see anything, she only vaguely remembered that a pair of warm big hands caught her.

Those hands seemed to be what she had been looking forward to for a long time.

When she woke up, it was already evening.

Sakura who just woke up, directly jumped straight up.

'No way no way! I must have heard correctly! I must not be dreaming!'

'Sensei said… that he accepted my confession!'

'Wait, where is sensei? Where is sensei! How long have I been sleeping!'

As the memory came back bit by bit, the words that had been engraved in her memory became clearer, and she was sure that she would never remember it wrong, but where was Satoru?

'What if sensei refuses to admit it?'

Suddenly, a sentence came from above her head.

"Are you looking for me?"

Sakura suddenly stopped and looked up.

Satoru sat on the tree trunk with one leg bent, one arm resting on the knee, and the other leg hangs down naturally towards the ground.

"Sensei, my memory should be correct..." Sakura asked weakly.

She was really afraid that Satoru would not admit it.

"Well, there is nothing wrong with your memory, I accepted your confession."

"Really! Thank you sensei!"

Before Sakura had time to be happy, she heard Satoru say, "But you passed out before I finished my next words, I've been waiting for you to wake up. What a mess."

Sakura hesitated for a long time, and didn't say a word of excuse.

There was no way to explain, her behavior was really disappointing.

However, she was now even more curious about what Satoru's next words were.
