"Isn't that what I should be asking you."
Corey raised a brow at the fearless words of the little elf, and to say he was not surprised by her choice of words and tone would be a lie.
"Seems you're not as afraid as I thought you were."
Corey commented while raising the girl's body a little bit higher. She winced, and he glanced at her wounds before shifting his gaze back to her.
"Do you want me to heal you completely?"
The little girl's mouth remained sealed as she looked at Corey with an attempted fearless expression, but it only looked cute in Corey's eyes.
Corey shook his head, and then he opened his palm. The liquid ball of cyan poison hovered above his hand, and the girl's pupils shook intensely the moment her eyes landed on the poison.
"Take it away! Please no! Take it away! I don't want to go through that pain again!"
