Chapter 2 - Let's start making money (1)

After living in this house for almost a week, he also found out that the three elven girls were really helping him out of kindness and not for any gains.

Such people could already be considered angels from the fairytales because of the kindness they were showing.

"It is very rare for humans to be like these elves."

He thought to himself.

"So what happened to the book?"

"Ah yeah... Sorry about that. I haven't finished reading it yet."

"Then read it slowly and give it to me once you finish it."

"Okay..."

She then handed him the book and left his room.

He read the book carefully in the whole day, he felt asleep with the book in his hands while reading it.

In the morning he woke up with a headache due to the lack of sleep because of the book.

"Might as well go to the market to buy food and other things I need, but I have no money for that for now." He thought to himself and then went downstairs for breakfast.

There were not many people in the house, only the three elven ladies lived here in this house. Salena told him that they were sister. They started living by themselves by earning some money with part time jobs after their parents died in a tragic accident.

They became healers because their mom was a healer before they passed away.

Their mother was a healer and father was a magician. Their mom was a 7th level healer and father a 7th level magician.

Salena said that they inherited their talent from their parents.

Leon was amazed to know that they could inherit talents from their parents. This was a big surprise for him since he thought that only the children of gods could inherit their abilities.

Salena then told him that she was a 4th level healer and May was a 3rd level healer and Julia was a 3rd level mage.

This village was not even a big village so these sisters being so talented was a miracle, Leon was amazed at their achievements

even after the lack of funds and resources.

"I should also find my talent and plan to join a magic academy to earn some money for me to survive in this world" He thought to himself.

He would have to learn some work to earn a little money to survive so he had already started to plan his future.

He would try to become a good magician soon and make a name for himself.

While thinking about his future, he ate some porridge and fruits for his breakfast.

After he finished eating his breakfast, he went outside to do his daily tasks.

This village had a marketplace where the villagers gathered to sell their products and buy some items needed.

There were various stalls selling different kinds of foods, clothes, weapons, tools and even some magical equipment.

He decided to go to the market today to do a part time job to earn some money.

He walked around the market and found many items he liked but he didn't even have a penny in his pockets to buy something .

The market was full of people, Beautiful elven ladies were seen everywhere he walked, Handsome elven men were also there, talking about daily things.

He didn't have the luxury to keep looking at the elven ladies and kept walking in the market to find a normal job with decent wages.

After wandering around the market, he found a stall selling herbs and medicines.

Leon approached the seller and introduced himself.

"Hello there, My name is Leon, I heard that you are hiring people to sell medicine and herbs for a part time job?"

The old man smiled gently at Leon's question.

"We are. Please come and sit down over there." The old man gestured at a bench near his stall.

Leon sat down in front of the stall while looking around the market.

"What is your name?" The old seller asked.

"My name is Leon, nice to meet you." Leon answered respectfully.

"I am called Kip, pleased to meet you too." The old man was pleased by the respect he was showing.

"Nice to meet you too." Leon spoke again.

"So tell me, what are you interested in? What kind of job you are searching for?" The old man asked while smiling at Leon.

"Well, I am looking for a job that pays well and doesn't require too much effort like a part time job." Leon answered honestly.

"You don't have enough money to buy anything here though. So what are you planning to do with your future?"

"I want to join a magic academy and get stronger." He answered.

"OK young man... you're hired as a herb gatherer. The work is quite hard but the pay is worth it. Now... do you accept?" The old man asked him.

"Yes..." Rey answered with joy and a new hope. A hope for a bright future, he could now finally earn some money after coming to this world, he didn't want to be a loser like in the past transmigrations, he wanted to achieve something greate, he wanted to make a name for himself this time.

And so started his journey towards a great future...
