Chapter 2 - 6th Incarnation

Lucían remembered his first incarnation like it was yesterday because out of all of them, it was the only one where something he absolutely couldn't explain happened.

It was unlike every life he lived and every incarnation, the memory would always be he first and most vivid dream he would experience in any incarnation. It also served as the catalyst for unlocking his soul in each incarnation.

Souls are different than what a lot of mortals would expect, most mortals in the mortal realms look at souls as ghost or what makes a person human or alive, but truthfully souls are more so an inter dimensional vehicle kinda like the body but in layman's terms more advanced.

The soul allows you to move through the universe and time and experience different physical lives in different environments always chasing its own thread of fate.

Lucian continued to let his mind wander as his 6th incarnation came to mind where he made the biggest breakthrough in reincarnation he would ever make.

In Lucian's 6th reincarnation he was born onto a technologically advanced earth like civilization. The entire civilization was built around and focused on solely expanding their knowledge.

Lucian came from a humble middle class family, both of his parents were deeply religious, they led a large church where they would alway preach about god and saving your soul.

When Lucian first heard and understood what they were talking about an odd feeling welled up in the back of his stomach as the young Lucian had his first flashback of his first incarnations in this life.

He saw the alien looking creatures and he could recognize the souls as different shapes and sizes of people but he still couldn't see how these creatures were manufacturing these humanoid things.

His attention returned to his parents sermon where they talked about the power of god and the blessing of the soul. Every 4th day of the week was ended at the chapel with his parents sermons until he left for college.

In this life Lucian set out to learn chronomatics, chronomatics was this worlds study into the field of time. In this world time was considered its own field as some would say with the absence of anything time would continue to go forward, but others argued that time didn't really exist and instead there was only a natural and constant progression of events.

In time Lucian began to formulate his own thoughts on time. In Lucian's mind both ideas about time had relevance but neither really hit the nail on the head. Lucian began to reflect over the small amount of memories he had of his past incarnations.

His first incarnation came to mind and he remembered how before he died it felt like he was in his moms arms for eternity but in reality the moment only lasted maybe 30 minutes before he died in that life.

He began to think about how not knowing the time ever might seem scary as life would almost seem like there was no end. He realized in that moment most of the things his 'advanced civilization' knew and studied and stated to be concrete thought were only rationalizations of his current reality.

He realized that most of the things that stood as infrastructure for the infrastructure of society was built on anxious and fearful thoughts and should be taken lightly if he ever wanted to achieve anything astounding.

In that life he took his own advice and opened up a part of him he didn't know even existed. He went on to be an award winning chonomist, being the first to successfully travel through time by creating the first ship to go beyond light speed.

In Lucian's studies and life he learned one thing that would also stick with him through every incarnation. It was that he could simultaneously live multiple incarnations at a time with the right levels of synchronicity and empathy.

Sometimes he would experiences additional incarnations in his life in dreams and daydreams. Other times he would be able to so clearly understand a person or animal it felt like he was the one living in their skin.

This experience deeply effected Lucian but it also gave him a deeper glimpse into the road ahead and what may lie beyond the mortal realms.

Lucian continued to think about his many incarnations, and how along the road he continued to gain a deeper understanding of life and the soul.

It got to the point where in his 100,000th incarnation into the mortal world he was already holding himself back from ascending defying the will of his fate line. By this incarnation Lucian had already learned how to change his perspective so that he could look at any scene with whatever view he wanted in his mind.

It was like this, if Lucian was walking in the forest and wanted to see himself from the perspective of a tree with only a thought he was observing himself clearly from a nearby tree. This ability helped him to gain much more experience and speed run his next few hundred thousand incarnations and every incarnation he learned something new and a few times even encountered some extremely rare treasures.
