Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Birth of a Monster

Ronny wasted no time accessing his status panel. Standing at the edge of the terrifying ravine he had carved with a single punch, he remained completely unfazed by the devastation he had wrought. Taking a deep breath, he summoned his interface and began systematically investing skill points into his remaining abilities, pushing each one to its absolute peak.

All five major skills had reached their theoretical maximum. Ronny's physical attributes had undergone a remarkable transformation—his physique had soared to sixty-two points, while his strength reached a formidable fifty-five. His agility and spirit had also improved dramatically, creating a perfectly balanced powerhouse.

An intoxicating surge of power coursed through Ronny's body. With a simple clench of his fist, he knew he could easily defeat Captain Wolf—a pirate with a fifteen million Berry bounty—without even utilizing his enhanced techniques.

"I'm incredibly powerful now!" Ronny couldn't suppress a laugh tinged with euphoria. "Those miserable Marines think they can hunt me down? It's time for payback!"

Striding confidently toward the shoreline where the Evil Wolf Pirates had anchored their vessel, Ronny casually retrieved a Marine-issued cutlass from the ground. His fingers wrapped around the grip as his masterful sword technique instantly assessed the blade's quality and balance. With complete mastery of fundamental swordsmanship, his abilities now rivaled those of the world's greatest swordsmen—the only limiting factor was the weapon itself.

"If I wielded a Supreme Grade blade like Yoru, I could challenge even Dracule Mihawk himself!" The thought sent a thrill of excitement through him.

Meanwhile, at the chaotic shoreline, Ronny's unexpected appearance drew the attention of both Marines and pirates. The fierce battle momentarily paused as combatants turned toward the source of the earth-shaking explosion, spotting a teenager wielding a cutlass with casual confidence.

"It's Ronny!" one pirate exclaimed in surprise.

"That guy's luck is unbelievable," another muttered, brow furrowed in confusion. "I saw him fleeing when the Marines first attacked. Can't believe he's still breathing."

"Captain Wolf!" A pirate engaged in combat called out to their leader. "The kid emerged from that explosion—maybe he knows what caused it. Should we question him?"

"Focus on the Marine captain in front of us first!" Wolf snarled dismissively, barely sparing Ronny a glance. He recognized the teenager as merely another expendable crew member. There was no reason to waste attention on him when a skilled Marine officer demanded his full focus.

"Captain!" A Marine lieutenant standing beside the commanding officer whispered urgently, "That boy emerged from the explosion's epicenter. I'm uncertain whether he caused it."

"He's clearly part of the Evil Wolf Pirates," the Marine captain replied coldly. "You handle him while I deal with their captain."

"Understood, sir." The lieutenant acknowledged with a sneer, advancing toward Ronny with obvious contempt.

"There's quite a gap in our abilities," Ronny observed calmly, raising his sword with practiced ease. "This pathetic skirmish ends now."

With a single, fluid swing of his blade, a crescent-shaped wave of compressed air erupted from the steel. The sword beam tore through the approaching Marines, reducing them to scattered remains in an instant. The devastating attack didn't stop there—it continued its deadly arc toward the sea, cleanly bisecting the Marine warship anchored offshore.

Both Marines and pirates who witnessed this display stared at Ronny in absolute horror. Disbelief, terror, and bewilderment painted their faces as they processed the impossible scene before them. The battlefield fell silent except for the sound of the bisected warship slowly sinking into the harbor.

"This... How is this possible?!" Captain Wolf's voice cracked with shock as he stared at Ronny. How could this seemingly ordinary crew member possess such monstrous power?

Ronny calmly sheathed his cutlass, satisfied with the demonstration. He had executed nothing more than a basic sword technique, but enhanced to maximum mastery, it transcended the capabilities of anyone present. Under that single strike, dozens of Marines had perished instantly, while several pirates caught in the residual energy suffered grievous wounds.

"Such incredible power," Ronny murmured, a slight smile playing across his lips as he advanced toward the stunned combatants. "And this is merely the beginning."

"Monster!"

"Run! Everyone run!"

"He's a demon in human form!"

"That swordsmanship—it's beyond human comprehension!"

Panic erupted among both Marines and pirates as they finally grasped the futility of their situation. They scattered in every direction, recognizing that they faced something far beyond their ability to combat. The hunter had become the hunted, and Meaville D. Ronny stood alone on the blood-soaked shore, master of his newfound destiny.
