Inside, the Immortal Palace was spacious and bright, and ancient runes and totems were engraved on the surrounding walls.
At the center of the Immortal Palace, there was a simple array formation, with formation patterns interwoven, runes flickering, mysterious and inscrutable.
At the center of the array formation sat an elder wearing a gray robe, thin and frail, with hair white and a face full of wrinkles.
The elder had his eyes closed, motionless, appearing decrepit and lifeless, as if in meditation.
Above the elder's head floated a mystical lotus.
