[Ladder of Sin]
This is the prison used for confining sinners from the Old World,
which has different depths and cell blocks corresponding to the level of sins committed.
From shallow to deep, they are:
"Bewilderment" (Upper Stairway, upper part)
"Torture" (Upper Stairway, lower part)
"Pain" (Middle Stairway, upper part)
"Sorrow" (Middle Stairway, lower part)
"Nihility" (Lower Stairway, upper part)
"Endless" (Lower Stairway, lower part)
Among them, the areas of Torture and Pain are the largest and house about 60% of all sinners.
As for the area where the former leader of the Death Plague Knights was detained, it is located at the very bottom, in Endless. Of course, this area has now been sealed off, and hundreds of people have never set foot in it.
