The Federation's forces might even reach the battlefield faster, guarding the Xinghe Squad led by Ji Xinghe, and recovering the numerous Mechas near the wreckage of the Peace Space Battleship.
If the Empire continues to use nuclear weapons, it will mistakenly destroy its own forces. If the Empire doesn't deploy its forces, neither will the Federation deploy large-scale forces, instead using small units or possibly intelligent unmanned forces to enter the battlefield for recovery operations, making it unnecessary for the Empire to use nuclear weapons.
So theoretically, as long as Ji Xinghe decides to continue fighting, all those Duke Mechas inside and beneath the Peace would belong to the Federation. Also, those Duke Mechas outside the Peace that have been destroyed and those currently intact have a high chance of being partially preserved in a nuclear explosion, allowing them to be remelted into Federation-owned General Level Mechas.
