Y/n slowly opened his eyes and stretched his body after spending the night on the hard, cold floor, having given his bed to the Na'vi girl.
He stretched his body out, but soon realized that his right foot, which was nearest to the bed, felt somewhat constrained. It was as if something had coiled around his ankle, tightening its grip slightly when he tried moving his foot away from it.
Sitting up, he looked down at his right foot, noticing that the tail from the Na'vi girl's had wrapped itself around his foot. Staring for a moment, glancing between her and the tail. A faint smirk appeared on his face as he slowly unrounded her tail from his foot.
While holding her tail, small, cute moans would escape from her lips, seemingly showing that she was enjoying his touch, which led him to connect that their tail must be pretty sensitive if she was feeling it even in her sleep.
Y/n thought about the implications that could have given that he has an avatar body, which is almost the same as a Na'vi's body. After a few minutes, he shrugged, deciding not to give it much more thought. Standing up, he quickly got himself ready for the day before walking outside his tent with his mask on so he wouldn't die from the lack of breathable air.
After a couple of seconds of walking between the tent and the lab, he made his way inside, where he would search through the cabinets and refrigerator for the food that Rick had previously mentioned earlier. Eventually, after looking for a bit, he would come across the perfect stuff to make a good breakfast for her and himself.
He spent a considerable amount of time cooking before finally opening the door from the main building and making his way over with two food trays in hand, and walked back inside his cozy tent, where he placed the food trays down on the floor.
His eyes glanced over to the sleeping woman before drifting down to her five-finger hand. He seemed lost in thought for a moment before finally remembering the food; he lightly shook her body, waking her up.
She sleepily opened her eyes before placing her hands beside her and pushing her upper body up, hips still low like a loose downward dog. Her tail slithered onto the bed, curling as she arched her back in a long stretch.
Her chest pieces, which loosely clung to her body, gave Y/n a good side view of her chest before eventually collapsing with a soft thump against his bed.
Still partially asleep, her eyes looked around before landing on him. Her eyes widened as she jumped slightly, remembering what had happened yesterday. She relaxed slightly while still keeping her guard somewhat up.
Y/n: I brought you some food, to you know, since you're probably hungry, right?
She didn't say anything at first, but her body made it apparent as her stomach growled in the silence between the two. Her cheeks changed from blue to purple as she became embarrassed by her own body.
Y/n couldn't help but laugh as he sat on the floor next to one of the trays, which Kiri, still embarrassed, sat down next to the other, which was opposite to where Y/n was seated.
Y/n took his tray top off, revealing the food he had picked: pancakes, eggs, and sausage. Not wasting any time, Y/n started eating before deciding to make small talk with the girl.
Y/n: So, Kiri, how are you feeling? I know I'm not great with patching people up, but I hope it's good enough.
She looked to her side at the bandages that covered the stitches that were keeping her wound closed.
Kiri: I-I'm feeling better than how I was yesterday... I-if you hadn't closed the wound... I don't think I would be here right now.
Y/n: Heh yeah, I know that feeling… but luckily it sounds like you're healing up pretty well at the very least.
Kiri: "muffled agreement"
Y/n's gaze shifted from the food to the Na'vi. He was surprised to see that she had a sausage sticking out of her mouth. They stared at each other in awkward silence before Y/n burst out laughing while Kiri quickly ate the sausage before speaking.
Kiri: "coughing" W-well, I suppose I need to get going soon. I'd better have my grand-grand look at this wound as quickly as possible, just in case.
Y/n: grand-grand?
Kiri: Eh, uh, I meant my family must be worried about me since it's been three days since they last saw me.
Y/n: Will you be okay out there in your current condition?
She stared at him for a moment, surprised by how nice and caring he was toward her. Given that they should be enemies. Noticing she was staring for a bit longer than she intended, her face quickly heated, making her look away while trying to hide the blush on her face.
Y/n thought it was cute how she acted like an awkward teenager, unsure how to manage these emotions of hers..
Kiri: I-I'll be okay after all, I grew up here... "coughing while trying to look confident" You seem like a good person, so... I won't tell my parents about you.
She was fidgeting in her spot, her tail swishing behind her. Y/n stayed quiet at first.
While what she said didn't provide much information, he had already figured that the Navi girl before him might be Jake Sully's child that the RDA guy was talking about. That would explain the whole five-finger thing.
Y/n: Heh, thanks, Kiri, that means quite a lot to me because I certainly wouldn't want to get killed by a random arrow anytime soon.
Kiri softly smiled and lightly laughed in response to his words. Y/n had already finished eating his food before standing up.
Y/n: Well, I think I'd better head out. I want to try to get a better look at my surroundings today, since a certain Na'vi girl interrupted me last time when I tried doing that...
Kiri: Hmph!
Y/n: "chuckling" If you're gone when I come back, then... It was a pleasure meeting you, Kiri. Perhaps your kind isn't as bad as I previously thought.
Oh, the Na'vi species were bad, alright, they were downright bad. But he couldn't say something like that to her.
Y/n could very well lose his one chance of getting into the Hallelujah Mountain base in that very moment by letting her go, but something told him that He could perhaps see her again sometime in the future.
He quickly left to gather all the items he would need before heading out in his human body, as he didn't want his body to grow weaker if he were only using the avatar.
He returned once more to the forest, and this time he searched the trees for the most suitable one until he found a tree that appealed to him. Although he wasn't that great at climbing trees, he knew the basics.
Once he reached the top, he took out a camera and secured it to the tree before making his way back down.
He planned to have cameras positioned some distance away to monitor the surroundings; after all, he didn't want to get a surprise attack by some Na'vi.
He kept at it for a while, keeping his eyes open for anything interesting. But he only saw plants, trees, and a circular vine rope.
Wait, a circular vine rope?
At that moment, he noticed his foot had landed on a circular vine rope. He quickly attempted to pull away from the trap, but it was too late; it snapped around his ankle and yanked him backwards, lifting him off the ground.
He felt all the blood in his body quickly rushing into his head.
His eyes followed the vine rope wrapped around his foot, seeing it go over the tree branch and towards a bush across from him.
He attempted to get out but couldn't, so he dangled there for a couple of minutes before the bush from before started making a rustling noise.
As three people walked out of it, two Na'vi and one human boy. They all look at him before looking at each other and talking in a language he didn't understand.
The two Na'vi seem to say something to the human boy as he nods, walks closer to y/n, and grabs him by the face.
Y/n felt like the boy was attempting to intimidate him, but he honestly wasn't scared in the slightest.
???: Where is she?
Y/n raises an eyebrow, seeing that he was talking in English now.
Y/n: You need to be a bit more specific about who you are talking about, kid.
The boy seemed to get ticked off by his comment as he suddenly punched y/n in his stomach. The punch left a stinging sensation where it had landed.
He grabbed y/n's hair and pulled him closer towards him, and y/n only showed an arrogant smile.
???: Hey, asshole, we can do this all day. Now, where is she?
A few minutes passed by as they each started taking turns hitting him and questioning him about Kiri's whereabouts, but he didn't say anything because, either way, he gets what he wants.
As they struck him repeatedly, they began speaking in English so that he could comprehend their words.
???: He's not going to talk, so I say we kill this prick.
???: Bro, I say we do it.
???: Whoa, wait, guys, Father could get information from him.
???: Nah, let's just kill him and find where he came from.
The human boy grabbed a weird-looking knife from his weird outfit as he went to stab y/n in the heart.
Almost in a relaxing way, y/n closed his eyes, waiting for the moment it cut through his flesh and into his heart. Where he could embrace death, but the impact never came.
He slowly opened his eyes, surprised to see Kiri standing before him with her arm out, seemingly pushing the boy's hand with the knife away from Y/N.
She grabbed the knife from his hand while looking angry at him before turning to grab the rope wrapped around Y/n's ankle and started cutting the rope, dropping him to the ground.
She crouched down, checking him over, and released a sigh of relief. Then she stood back up, turned to the human, and smacked him across the face.
The two Na'vi boys watched in surprise as the boy had been slapped, but then she ran to the two boys and hugged them tightly.
Y/n stood up with his broken back from carrying depression as he glanced back at the Na'vi group. But then he had to double-check as the Na'vi girl suddenly hugged him as well. He stood there, confused, but still he patted her back awkwardly.
Kiri: I'm relieved to see that you're okay.
Y/n: Oh, uh, well, I guess I'm doing as well as I can after getting hit. But how did you know I was in trouble?
Kiri: I... I just had a horrible feeling that something was going to happen to you.
Y/n: Oh well, thanks, you arrived just in the nick of time.
Her blue face once again had a slight tint of purple, which was hard not to notice.
Kiri: Now, would you three tell me why you were trying to fight y/n here?
??: We were following your trail when we heard him, and we thought he had done something horrible to you since you've been missing for three days now.
Kiri: "Sigh." Y/n here saved my life from a viper wolf, and so he had been taking care of me.
The three looked at the bandage around her waist, now understanding where it came from.
Y/n: It was the right thing to do
He wasn't entirely lying, but it wasn't the truth; it was just a way to gain their trust. The older-looking Na'vi stepped forward toward them until stopping in front of y/n and held his hand out.
???: I'm sorry for the way we've treated you. I hope you can forgive me and my brothers.
Y/N: Look, it's fine. I understand; you were looking for your friend and were just worried about her. It's understandable, man.
Y/n grabbed his hand and shook it as the two stared at each other.
???: Come on, Kiri, we'd better head back, I'm sure Dad would like to know where you have been.
The four of them started walking away from y/n, but before leaving completely, Kiri turned back and came over, grabbing his hands.
Kiri: I know I already said it, but still, thank you for the help. I'm not sure what I would've done if you hadn't jumped in back then.
Y/n: Don't worry about it. Just stay safe, and please don't try to hunt for me again if you're looking for a snack.
Kiri let out a cute laugh while her tail moved submissively.
Kiri: Maybe I just might~
Her face then turned a bright, deep purple. Even she was surprised by what she had just said, before anything else could be said, Kiri quickly left y/n running after her friends.
Y/n stood there, suddenly remembering that he hadn't reminded Kiri not to tell his location to the resistance. All he could do now was hope she would keep silent about his location.
Y/n started making his way back home, wondering why Kiri seemed so interested in him.
Next morning
Y/n was making his way through the forest in his avatar body, still doing the same thing, placing cameras and collecting data for Rick.
While on his way home after such a day without watching where he was stepping, a rope suddenly wrapped around his legs
Y/n: Man, for fuck sake.
Y/n fell onto the ground. Quickly trying to get up, but felt someone place their foot down onto his back.
???: Sorry about this, but I need to do this.
Without warning, he was hit in the back of the head, causing him to pass out from the blow to the head.
Some time had passed, and as he slowly woke up, he noticed the sound of wind passing his ears. Opening his eyes, he let out a yelp, surprised to see that he was high in the sky, dangling from a dragon or monster of some kind, while being tied.
Another dragon descended to his level with a Na'vi on its back.
???: Yo, bro, stop screaming. We're almost there!
It was the same younger Navi from yesterday. Y/n had no choice but to listen as he shut his mouth, hoping not to swallow any flies into his mouth or whatever bugs they have here.
Y/n spent the next couple of minutes just looking around at the view he was given. The planet is beautiful, really. Eventually, they came close to the Hallelujah Mountain. They circled one of the mountains before flying closer.
There was a noticeable cave opening, which was where they were heading. Inside the mountains was a hollow where there were huts and typical human buildings like the rda outpost one he was using.
Y/n was suddenly let go as he smacked into the ground. He let out a grunt with the impact.
The two dragon things landed on the edge of the floor, where you could fall off. Three people got off the creature, who were the same people from yesterday.
The younger Na'vi grabbed him and helped him up before pushing him to walk forward, which y/n complied with.
The older Na'vi from yesterday led the group as they walked. Y/n looked around the place and saw many Na'vi and humans using both English and what he assumed was Na'vi's language to talk to each other.
They eventually stopped at a bigger-looking hut than the rest, and the older Na'vi looked back at him.
???: Stay right there.
The Na'vi walked inside the hut, leaving the three there.
Y/n's eyes were focused on the entrance of the hut before him, waiting until the older one walked back outside, but this time, two other na'vi were walking right behind him.
One of which, to his surprise, was the famous Jake Sully, and beside him was his wife, Neytiri.
The photo of her from the presentation must have been old, since she appeared slightly older and had more defined features; nevertheless, she was still gorgeous-looking.
Jake Sully stared at y/n with a serious look on his face before stopping beside a stone seat. He sat on it and held his hand out to indicate that he should sit.
Y/n approached and took a seat on the stone bench across from him. Taking a moment, Y/n's eyes glanced around before being the one to speak up.
Y/n: So, is there a reason as to why I was kidnapped by two blue people and a man baby?
He glanced at the boy who had punched him yesterday, seeing him fuming at his comment, which y/n creaked a grin on his face.
Jake didn't respond to his stupid comment at first, as he also looked at the three boys.
Jake: I instructed them to bring you here unharmed, yet it seems they disregarded my straightforward command.
Y/n could hear a hint of anger behind his voice. Jake stood up and walked over to him, staring before moving behind him, pulling out a knife, and cutting the rope around his hands free.
Y/n appeared confused as he grabbed his wrist and started to massage it, while Jake walked back over to his spot.
Jake: I'm assuming you know who I am.
Y/n: Yes
Jake: Good. Now, then, why are you here? Why did you save my daughter? Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful, but why? There must be a motive, am I wrong?
Y/N: I'm a sole operative. I have been tasked with collecting data from the surrounding environment. I mean you no trouble in anyway. I just arrived to this plant not too long ago, so I'm simply trying to learn about the place.
Jake closed his eyes, seemingly in thought over what he said.
Y/n: Regarding your daughter, she needed help fighting against the viper wolf, so I helped.
He opened his eyes and nodded his head.
Jake: You said you want to learn, yes?
Y/n: Yeah?
Jake: Then, how would you like to learn the way of the Na'vi
Y/n was dumbfounded by how quickly Jake stopped questioning him.
It was almost as if he were in some book that was trying to rush the story.....
Y/n: I, uh, sure, I would like to learn the Na'vi way.
Jake: Good, there's just one thing you must do if you choose to join us: share all information you have regarding the rda movements.
Y/n: "smirks" Sure, you got yourself a deal.
Jake and y/n stood and shook each other's hands, sealing the deal. Jake walked over to his wife.
Jake: This is my mate. She will show you our way as she once did for me.
Neytiri: Mi Jake, don't you think you should have discussed this with me first?
Jake: Not now, Neytiri.
Not only was Jake giving him a free pass that sealed her fate, but there also seemed to be a relationship problem between the two. Perhaps he could exploit that somehow, but he would first have to identify the underlying issue.
Jake: Next, these three boys who brought you are my sons, Neteyam and Lo'ak, and that other boy is my adopted son, Spider.
In the corner of his eye, Y/n noticed Neytiri rolling her eyes while having her arms crossed like she was disagreeing with something in that sentence from her husband.
Y/n kept looking around for a moment, trying to find something, but in the end, it didn't seem like he could find whatever he was looking for.
The sounds of footsteps approached, and it seemed two people were walking towards the group. That was when he saw Kiri again alongside another, much younger Na'vi girl.
Kiri seemed slightly down about something as she stared at the floor before finally looking up, her eyes met with y/n's.
She quickly ran over and hugged him before finally taking a step back and giving him breathing room.
Kiri: W-What are you doing here?
She was both excited and confused at the same time, her eyes darting between him and her father.
Y/n: Well, I was kidnapped, then the next thing I know, I'm going to be learning your people's way.
Jake: As you can see, this is my adopted daughter, Kiri, and the other is my daughter, Tuk.
Tuk was hiding behind Kiri's waist, looking shy as y/n waved his hand at her, and she softly smiled. However, from the corner of his eye, he noticed Kiri appearing jealous. Which made him ponder what that's about.
They end up talking for a while longer about where his avatar would stay and about Neytiri and the training he will undergo, though it becomes obvious she doesn't trust him. She was still upset about the sudden news of being assigned to teach him.
And once again, he noticed Kiri staring pretty hard at him while talking to Neytiri.
Eventually, Y/n was able to leave and walk around the place. While exploring the place, Y/n heard the sounds of footsteps approaching from behind pretty fast, so as he turned, panic filled his eyes. As Kiri jumped into the air towards him, forcing him to try to catch her. However, he failed miserably as they collided with each other.
He gradually opened his eyes to see Kiri sitting on his waist with his hands resting on her hips. Y/n couldn't help but make a cheeky remark about their current situation.
Y/n: You know if you really wanted me that bad, you needed only to ask
She quickly looked away as she tried to hide the burning blush on her face, but her tail was giving her away as it swung side to side like a dog.
She swiftly moved away as he went to stand up again. They spent the time walking around together as she showed him around. She would even cling to his arm, causing his arm to rest against her breast.
She would show him places such as where they held their dinners and where the people who used avatars would rest. She even showed him the resting area for the dragon creatures, which Kiri told him were actually called ikrans.
Afterwards, they eventually ended up outside one of the labs for Avatar drivers. As they went inside, there were many science-looking things, but they stopped at a human who was emerging from one of the machines.
???: Hm, oh, hey Kiri, good to see you around again, you had us worried there for a moment. Where are your brothers and Spider?
Kiri: Probably getting disciplined again by dad.
???: I see, oh, and who is this?
Kiri: This is Y/n. Jake decides to let him join our clan.
???: Hmh, well, it's nice to meet you, Y/n. My name is Norm.
Y/n: Yeah, nice to meet you as well.
Kiri: Come on, y/n, there...this other person I want you to meet.
Y/n: Oh, okay. See you later, Norm.
He waved as the pair walked into a different room. Inside, there was more stuff, but in the middle was a vat much like the one his avatar was in before being released.
Inside was an avatar just floating, as Kiri went and hopped onto the top of the vat while striking a very sexual pose.
Y/n walked closer and leaned slightly, resting his arm on the vat to look at the woman inside.
Y/n: Who is she?
Kiri: That's my mom; she gave birth to me, but she passed away long before I was born.
Y/n looked for a moment before awkwardly raising his hand and placing it onto her leg like he was trying to comfort her somehow.
Kiri: heh, thanks
Y/n: You're welcome, but who is your father? "Gasp, jokingly," is it Jake?
He was trying to brighten the mood after it had slumped due to their conversation.
Kiri: Ew, heh, no, he's not my father. He took me in because he was close to my mother, I guess, but I don't know who my father is.
Y/n: Ah, it must be that norm guy something is telling me that it is.
Kiri: Eww, that's even worse than saying Jake is my father. I don't understand why everyone thinks that... but no, I don't believe it's him either. We're uncertain if I even had one to begin with.
Eventually, they decide to head back outside, where they went to grab something to eat for dinner.
He followed Kiri's lead as she grabbed a wooden bowl from a nearby stable and approached a Na'vi man who stood beside a fire, cooking an iron pot over it.
Na'vi guy: Oh, hey, it's Kiri. What can I do for you?
Kiri: Just grabbing dinner with my friend here.
Na'vi guy: Hmm, don't think I've seen you around, but hey, welcome.
Y/n greets the guys as he pours them soup full of meat and some vegetables. He hadn't eaten anything from this planet before, so this should be a new experience for him.
They walked over towards a table farther out from the rest of the tables and sat down.
Kiri: Here, you forgot to grab your spoon.
Y/n: Oh, than-
Y/n stopped speaking as he looked at the spoon she had given him. The spoon was, in fact, neither a spoon nor a fork; it was a....spork.
Y/n never thought he would never see the day when he would have to use such a thing, but he did so reluctantly. He took a scoop of the broth and meat to see if the broth would fall from the spork, and sadly, it did.
He took a bite of the meat, and the taste was... delicious, to his surprise. While he kept eating, a few more people decided to join them as they sat with the two.
The individuals were Spider, Neteyam, and Lo'ak.
Neteyam: Hey guys, I hope you don't mind if we join you over here.
Kiri: Of course, you guys can.
Y/n: the more the merrier.
Neteyam: "coughing" So, y/n what made you want to leave Earth and come here?
Y/n: Oh, uh, well, the main reason was simply that there was no reason for me to live there since my family wouldn't care.
Kiri: Why wouldn't they care?
Y/n: Well, I don't really talk to my family since they didn't really like me.
Kiri: Oh... I'm sorry to hear that.
Y/n: It's in the past, so don't worry about it... So, do you all have anyone you're interested in? You all seem to be at the age where you would want to find someone.
Lo'ak: What's so good about finding girls? I already have two that annoy me all the time.
Kiri: That's because you sometimes do the dumbest things, which always seem to get you hurt.
Neteyam: Yeah, and plus you're our baby brother.
Neteyam rubbed Lo'ak's head, causing him to feel slightly annoyed as he tried to stop Neteyam.
Neteyam: As for me, however, I can't say I have been asked to be someone's mate.
Lo'ak: Bro, didn't you get asked like last week?
Neteyam: I have no idea what you're talking about, man.
The two boys ended up arguing with each other about the asking out thing, which y/n turned his attention towards Spider and Kiri.
Spider didn't respond, but he was looking at Kiri, but Kiri, on the other hand, was trying not to look at him.
They talked for a while longer before y/n decided to head to sleep, and he went looking for his hut that Kiri had shown him before.
Unlike the other avatar drivers, he was given his own personal home, which he happily took.
Eventually, he found the hut. Inside the home was nothing but a plain-looking bed, which he got straight into and closed his eyes.
After a couple of seconds, he was back inside the machine at the base of the cave. Pushing the top off, he quickly made his way to the computer to email Rick, telling him what happened and that he would need cards.
Next morning
Y/n was waiting around for Neytiri, as today was supposed to be the day she would start his teaching.
After a while, she appeared wearing the same style of outfit he was wearing.
Y/n looked down at himself, seeing that the military clothes he wore before had been changed to more of a Na'vi-type outfit with a loincloth and everything well besides the chest, as there was nothing.
But he noticed something incredibly important right away. Unlike Kiri, he was given underwear, so a few things came to mind,
While thinking about her, Kiri suddenly appeared out of nowhere. She surprised y/n and hugged him, to which he hugged her back.
Y/n: Kiri, what are you doing here?
Kiri: I thought that perhaps I could help teach you our ways, and maybe it could be fun doing so.
Neytiri: No, Kiri, your father wants me to teach him, not you. Go and head back with your brothers.
Kiri: You don't even want to teach him, Neytiri, so I'll do it.
Neytiri: Your father, even if I dislike it, is the olo'eyktan we do as he asks kiri.
Y/n could feel the tension in the air, as it seemed to grow with the back and forths, before finally stopping, when Kiri appeared to give up and walk away.
Neytiri: Come, we have a full day.
