Alex kept falling downwards while holding on to the pouch.
He opened his eyes with great difficulty from all the wind. He just kept falling. He thinks that he shouldn't have angered The Goddess. After a while he could see the land clearly, where he saw a big enough habitat. There he sees a forest covering one side of the habitat surroundings. As he keeps falling, he realises that he is falling far away from the place than promised. Then making a big slam he landed on the land. He lost consciousness.
He wakes up after a few minutes. He assesses his surrounding lands. He could see a forest away from his place. He saw a big tree that looked like the pathway to the forest. He noticed that his clothes were torn but he was not injured in any way. He started to slowly walk toward the tree. He thought to not think of the future and just do what is presented by the goddess for a while until he can figure it all out. He just wanted to make a sense of everything. This was just a group of bizarre incidents.
He reached the big tree but didn't want to wander in the forest. So, he decided to stay at the big tree for a few hours unless someone passes by. The big tree was casting a big shadow underneath it. It seemed like a good place to rest. He sat under the tree and started to wait.
After an hour he could see a cart coming toward him. He felt happy from his decision to stay and not wander in the forest. As the cart got closer he could see an old man driving the cart. As the cart reached the tree, the old man stopped the cart. He walked toward the old man, he could see that it was an empty cart with two horses pulling on it. He leaned toward the old man politely to ask him for a ride.
He says, "I am sorry to interrupt your riding but can you please guide me to the city through this forest." He points at the forest entrance.
The old man seemed confused. He didn't speak a word and just pointed toward the back of the cart. He rejoiced and got in the back of the cart without wasting any more time. The old man hit the horse with a horse whip. The horses neighed and started to walk into the forest. The journey to the city begins.
He observes the habitat of a different world from the back of the cart. He couldn't believe that he was in another world. Everything is very similar. The trees, the old man, the horses, and the insects he encountered on the cart and the surroundings. Everything is similar to earth. He is eager to visit the cities to examine this world's situation more. It has been a long ride on the cart. He has been talking to the old man a lot and asking questions about the city they're visiting. The old man hasn't said a word. He starts to think that the old man is a mute. He has stopped speaking with the old man and just observed the surroundings and slept on the cart in an awkward position.
Soon the night fell and the cart was brought to a stop by the old man. The place seemed like a regularly used camping spot for night. The place was well maintained by travellers that traverse this path. He asked a few questions but the old man didn't answer any. The old man seemed to hear him but was just not responding. The old man made fire in a few minutes. The old man sat near the fire and rumbled through his bag and took out food. The old man handed some to him to eat. He thanked the old man for everything and made a few comments about the food. The old man had supplies for bedding. The old man made his own and went to sleep. Alex sat for a while fiddling. He then hopped onto the cart and went to sleep.
He wakes up from the sound of the cart moving. It is a very early morning. It is still dark out and fog all over the path. It didn't seem safe to travel. He made an announcement that he had woken up to the old man. The old man glanced at him but he still seemed uninterested. The time just went by in awkward silence on the path. He kept commenting on the surrounding and any related topic he could think of. He thought the old man could listen to him but is not speaking for some reason.
They had finally gotten out of the forest. The sun was shining on top of them. The old man tossed some dried food to Alex, who has been very hungry since morning. Alex had a smile while eating some tasteless food just for hunger. It is now a 2-3 hour ride from the outskirts of the forest to the city.
They took a little break on the outskirts of the forest for half an hour. The old man rode the horse at a faster speed and the city walls were in sight. It looked like a magnificent city from far away. The time went by fast and the city came closer. The city walls looked huge. They were only a few kilometres away from the city. The old man stopped the cart abruptly.
Alex asked, "Did something happen?" while he got out the cart to inspect.
The old man looked at him and spoke for the first time, "yous ne moyo kamrod".
He was confused as to what the old man had said. The old man rides the cart away as he is spaced out.
"That bitch didn't give me a translation ability!" He got furious as he realised all the crap he was talking about along the way. He was speaking rubbish to the old man, that's why he hadn't said anything to him. The old man might be thinking of him as an idiot.
He reached the city walls. There is a colossal gate made out of wood. The gate was open with a few guards stationed out. It wasn't with too much security. He knew he couldn't talk with them. He would just look like a fool. So he thought there might be an entry pass which would require money. He took out 2 gold coins from the pouch the goddess had given him. He approached the guard that was sitting on a chair and seemed the most lazy out of all. The guard seemed the leader of the group. He gave the money to the guard. The guard took the money while yawning. There was a small cabin outside the city walls. The guard got up and led the way for him. He follows the guard into the cabin. The cabin had a lot of free space. It had a desk and some seating space at the end of the cabin. At the entrance there were twin beds. The guard sat behind the desk and got some ledger from one of the drawers. He starts to write on the ledger. He looks at the condition of Alex. With tattered pants and the bottom of the shirt is torn. The guard asked a question while pointing at his own left forearms. This jogs Alex's memories. He approaches the desk and rolls off his sleeves to show his left forearm. The guard took out a card from his pocket. It looked like a high quality card made of steel. The card was put on Alex's forehand which made a light. The blank steel card became a white coloured card with something written on it which he couldn't read. The guard wrote something in the ledger while reading the cards. The guard gave him 20 silver coins back. He just took it.
The guard guides him into the city and hands him the white card. Alex thinks that the card might be a pass or identity card. He enters the city, he walks on a broad pathway into the crowded city. He sees many different types of vendors, He sees foods selling on carts. He doesn't approach any of them because of the language barrier. He quietly walks through the city. He hopes to get to an open ground to observe the city. He climbs the stairs and takes whatever turns he sees. He randomly roams around. When he came to a stop, He could see a big castle in the centre of the city. It's a huge castle, where it seemed the king would live. He has no way of knowing, If it is the lord of this city or the king who lives in that castle. He is astonished by this city. The Crowd, the people living in harmony. Alex has yet to see the dark side of this place. He wanders around more, he is tired and hungry now. He walks into a busy street and sees a big board. The board had an image of a bed, food and a woman holding a beer glass. He went into the shop packed with people eating and laughing. He sees many different types of people. The clothes they were wearing were cosplay-like. He ignored and found a guy managing behind a desk near the stairs.
He approached the guy behind the desk and near the stairs. He took out 15 silver coins and put them on the desk. He tried to look confident, so no need for conversation will arise. He pointed his finger upstairs suggesting rooms. He pointed his thumb at the food a waiter was taking to some customer. The guy takes the money and calls one of the waiters. The waiter greeted Alex. The waiter then proceeded to walk upstairs. Alex followed him to a room. The room was a suite. It had a king sized bed and a table to eat. It looked like a very expensive room. He regretted not knowing this country's currency as he might have overpaid.
Alex opens a door which seems to be the bathroom. There is a bathtub filled with water. He threw his clothes and got himself washed.
He gets out of the bath with just a towel on to find the table filled with lots of food and some night clothes on the bed. He wore the clothes and ate the food to his heart's content. He sits on the table contemplating for a few minutes after eating too much food. He goes to the bed to sleep. He had thought of going to the temple tomorrow to contact The Goddess. He wants to get a language ability from her. Travelling around this world would be better with translations. The night passed in his sleep and the morning came.
He wakes up almost falling off of the bed. He sees that he's been pushed to the side of the bed and looks to his left. To his shock there are two girls on the left, cuddling and asleep. Both the girls were in the bed with him wearing very little clothing. He sees a very attractive woman sitting at the tea table at one corner of the room. She looks like a woman who would capture everyone's gaze wherever she passes by from. Her face sparkled from a single beam of light. Her curly brown long hair whose radiance shone in the whole room.
The woman says, "You're finally awake, Mr. Alexander."
