ONE MONTH LATER

The atmosphere was hot as Ivy adjusted her spectacles. She was trying her best to make her classmates to keep quiet since she was the class president. The Dean of their of their faculty had just announced an impromptu school trip and due to that, every student offering her program was excited, except Ivy.
She didn't know why she had to go on a trip that had nothing to do with education. Her grades were perfect and she didn't need a simple unnecessary trip to increase her chance of becoming a president when she grew.
Unfortunately for her, it was the lecturer who asked her to come along in other to keep the students attitude decent. Just one more day to travel and as a result of that, the authorities dismissed school early for them to pack their luggage.
According to the lecturer, the place they were going to was a kingdom. It wasn't governed by a president or parliament; It just had one king who was rich, powerful and handsome. Most of the female students danced and screamed with excitement.
They finally had the chance to meet the famous King Dracan. Even his name turned them on. Ivy rolled her eyes and walked out of class to head home. What was so interesting about a ruler who was an asshole. Yes she wasn't following his sweet talk news. She only followed his negative news and so far, all this king does is abuse his citizens with tyrannical rules in governing.
Ivy exited the class and passed through the hall as a firm hands grabbed her waist and pulled her to smash lightly on the wall. A handsome and hot guy came in front of her with a smile plastered on his face as he quickly kissed her lips.
"You should be romantic Ivy. Come on, we are dating" The guy sweetly said. Ivy smiled while rolling her eyes.
"Jimmy, Jimmy sweetheart. I told you that our relationship must be a secret and yet you keep holding my waist and kissing me on campus huh?" Her cheeks were red because she was blushing. Jimmy touched her face while smiling broadly at her.
"I can't stop myself Ivy. I love you so much" As soon as Jimmy said the word love, Ivy felt like she was flying in a pink cotton candy cloud. She exhaled a dreamy breath which made Jimmy to laugh.
"I love you too Jim. We would spend some more time at the so called kingdom ok" Ivy held his cheeks before realizing his change in mood.
"Jim, hunny what's wrong?" Ivy asked him with worry but he only shook his head.
"It's nothing don't worry" He replied and gave her another sharp kiss on her lips. Ivy knew that something was wrong and kept forcing him to speak until he finally sighed in defeat.
"I don't think I will be able to go on the trip. I'm piled up with a lots of assignment and I can't do it tomorrow because it's my grandma one year death remembrance. I can't miss it. Don't worry baby. Have fun without me. We will meet when you get back. It's just sad that I wouldn't see your pretty face for a month. Damn!!" Jim said with frustration before pulling her into a deep kiss. He held her firmly and kissed every inch of her lips deeply.
Ivy moaned and kissed him back. She wasn't going to let him grieve alone. She had already decided to help him. Besides, she mostly did his tests and assignments for him due to his tedious basketball practice. Ivy separated from the kiss and hugged him. She gently tapped his back like a mother before telling him that she was going to help with it. Jimmy sighed and hugged her back before grinning. Ivy was really one of a kind and it kept him closer to her.

Just as promised, Ivy stayed up all night doing Jimmy's assignments. She later on packed her bags and slept the next day. It was supposed to be a special day for both her and her best friend but their plans got cancelled.
