Chapter 11 - The guests part 2.

They all finished their foods, Marcel went to settle the bill at the counter and they took their leave.

They all took a walk to digest their meal, they walked side by side at the street lane, chatting. Marcel and Beatrix walked at the front talking and smiling while Martha and Lily were also behind them doing their own thing.

"Lily, I didnt know my brother Likes Beatrix", Martha said with a surprised expression.

"Yeah, he likes her a lot", Lily said with a smile.

"Wow! My little brother had grown up", said Martha, wiping her fake tears.

Lily smiled and rolled her eyes at Martha for being dramatic.

"Does Beatrix knows about this", Martha asked Lily.

"Nope!", Lily replied.

"Oh am gonna tease Mar so much", Martha said with a silly smile.

"You are so bad", said Lily and pinched her nose.

"Has he tried to confess to her?",Martha asked glancing at Lily.

"He tried but it got ruined by some one", Lily sighed.

"What! Someone dared to ruin my brother's confession! Does the person wants a death wish?", she shouted as her nose flared in anger.

Martha had always been protective of her brother since they were Kids, Marcel had always been quiet, he was always bullied by the kids in kindergarten. He couldn't fight back because he was a very weak child and always get sick very often, due to this he was always bullied by the popular kids. She would beat them up and made them apologize to him, this made Marcel to be very dependent on Martha.

"Will you calm down", Lily calmed Martha. Lily knew Martha would flare concerning this.

"Ok am calm", said Martha as she breath in and out.

"We just have to get them together",Martha added.

"No, we are not gonna do that", said Lily as she grabbed Martha's shoulder.

"Why?", she asked feeling a little dejected.

"He told me he got this", Lily said as she patted her shoulder.

"I know, but you know Marcel he might chicken out, am worried that he might screw it up", Martha said as she hesitated.

"But you have to trust him", Lily said softly.

"But what if he gets rejected, I dont think his weak heart might take it", Martha said worriedly.

"That would only make him stronger, you can't protect him from this. You have let him take this in his own hands, he can do this and I believe him", Lily added with a smile and hugged Martha's arm.

"Ok, I will cheer him up!", she exclaimed as she raised her hand and clenched it into a fist.

"Come on, let's catch up with them", Lily said and grabbed Martha's hand and ran towards them.

Martha and Lily caught up with them, Martha wrapped her arm around Marcel and smile.

"Ah, sis, you are hurting me!" Marcel groaned in pain, trying to remove her arm around his neck.

"Sorry!", she said and smiled sheeply.

"Don't hurt him", Beatrix slapped her arm away.

Lily and Martha give each other a weird look.

Beatrix moved closer to Marcel and check his neck and saw that his fair neck is slightly red.

"Does it hurt", she asked worriedly.

"No, am fine", Marcel answered quietly, covering his neck properly with his shirt collar.

Lily checked her phone and realized she was running late for dinner, she bid them goodbye. She rushed to the bus station and luckily she saw a bus on time. She entered the bus and saw at the last window seat in order for her to enjoy the night scenery, she love to witness and appreciate the night's beautiful view whenever she has the opportunity.

The bus got to her destination, she came down from the bus boss and she was greeted by rain showers.

"Oh shoot!", Lily muttered under her breath angrily and used her bag to cover her head and jogged to her house.

She got to her house, at their poach she removed her slightly damp jacket, she opened the doorknob and entered the house.

"Mom, am home", she called, removed her shoes and hanged it on the shoe rack and hung her jacket on the coat rack.

She was unaware of the people that were sitted in their living room, she just turn around and was shocked by the people she saw, she awkwardly walked to them, exchanged pleasantries with them and walked into the kitchen to look for her mom.

"Mom!", she called like a child and hugged her from the back.

"Sweetie you're back", her mom replied as she rubbed her cheeks.

"Mom, why are the Manchesters here?", she asked while hugging her tighter.

"They are the guests we are hosting tonight", she answered while tasting the chicken soup.

She quickly pulled away from her mother "mom why?!".

"I am having a feeling that you are not very happy about this"', her mother added.

"Yeah, I don't", she muttered.

"I just that", she stuttered.

"Just what", her mom repeated and cupped her cheeks.

"Ian is here too, have fun let go of the past", her to said with a smile.

Lily never really told her parents the reasons for their breakup she just pin everything on their relocation and her parents felt guilty that they were the ones who broke them up and try to make it up to their daughter.

"Mom", she called her and hugged her again.

"Why are you being clingy tonight", her mom raised an eyebrow.

She really didnt want to face Ian tonight or she is going to lose it, she can't stand being close to him in the same space or she will reminisce that unfortunate night again. Remembering that night, tears welled up in her eyes.

"Lily, why are you crying?", she asked as she wiped her tears with her thumb.

"Its nothing, can I just hug you a little more", she said with her red eyes.

"Yeah, come on sweetie", her mother said and patted her back softly with her fair and tender hand. Lily would always feel a ease whenever her mother patted her back softly. this has been an old habit she is unwilling to let go.

"Go and shower, your dad would be back in a few", she said as she pulled away gently from her arms.

"Ok", she nodded.
