Demon God Da Mo was using his True Fire as much as he could when he felt a sudden pain in his lower abdomen.
In the physical realm, Cao Yun focused all the Death Energy around him. Strands of Death Energy and Evil Qi rose from the corpses of the Supplicant Tyrants defeated by Sun Liao and his men after many sacrifices. The young man had already used all the Death Energy from the three Sages to strengthen them and allow them to attack the red asura from within. Cao Yun could clearly tell that it was working and that Demon God Da Mo was in pain, fighting for his very soul.
Demon God Da Mo didn't really fear for his body, as he was confident that not even a Sage could easily injure him. To be fair, Demon God Da Mo was unfortunately right. Cao Yun himself realized that he could only wound his enemy superficially. Besides, his flesh would heal extremely fast, making any wound useless unless it was serious or even lethal. Moreover, Demon God Da Mo had been convinced that he could deal with the two elders in a very short time. Unfortunately for the asura, it had taken much longer and still wasn't done. Not only did he have to fight the two elders, now turned into inner demons of some kind, but he also had to deal with the Black Death Prison poison.
Sadly, Cao Yun was almost certain that Demon God Da Mo could survive all of that. He would certainly be weakened and injured. In fact, it might prevent him from ever breaking through, and he would die of natural causes as a Reborn Demon. But he might have enough strength left to kill every human and many demons on the Piaolu planet. Cao Yun couldn't take any chances and had to go all-out, especially after all the sacrifices his people had suffered.
In Cao Yun's sea of consciousness, 'Death Verses' began to echo through the infinite ocean. Outside, the Death Energy was joining his Black Heart Flame all around his 'Dark Abyss Wrathful Serpent Spear'. Cao Yun poured everything he had into his spear. Chains appeared around his forearms and coiled alongside his spear. Those chains were material but were also exuding a terrifying aura and were manifesting black flames and sparks everywhere. Cao Yun was using his knowledge of the Supplicant Tyrants to better control the Death Energy. His understanding of 'Death Reeling' was extremely good, and he could control Death Energy as well as he controlled Qi at this point, especially as an Exalted Demon.
Fearing that it might not be enough, Cao Yun used 'Living Death' and turned a huge part of his own soul into Death Energy. As it turned out, it allowed Cao Yun both to improve his mastery over external Death Energy and to attract even more Death Energy and condense it better and better. The young man was trying to pour the concept of 'Living Death' into his technique. 'Living Death' was the art of turning one's Po into Death Energy while still being alive. For anyone else, it would be a nightmare. In a way, it was like being alive while having one's flesh rot at the same time. Unless one understood the Dao of Death well enough, this wouldn't be a pleasant experience at all.
At this moment, Cao Yun was more dead than alive, in a sense. Most of his Po had turned into Death Energy. As such, the air around him was cold and eerie. The other humans were watching in fear. Even the chief elders and Sun Liao, who understood what was going on, were afraid that Cao Yun might go too far and actually die. As a matter of fact, their fears were absolutely valid. The young man himself was walking on the edge, but he didn't want to leave any chance to Demon God Da Mo. Hopefully, Mo Tian would do what he had to do. At this point, Cao Yun was truly reaching the end of his rope. He had a few other plans, but they were all desperate. For example, Sun Liao had set up an array formation to quite literally drain everyone in order to strike Demon God Da Mo. Of course, they didn't want to sacrifice everyone in the Wubei Sect. Besides, they weren't sure it would actually kill Demon God Da Mo, as a lot of energy would be lost in the process. This truly was a desperate move that could only be used if all hope was lost.
Thankfully, they hadn't lost all hope now. If necessary, they were all ready to give their lives, but they would rather stay alive if they could avoid death.
The stars and constellations of the 'Azure Dragon's Seven Piercing Stars' appeared in the sky above Cao Yun. The Heart Constellation was shining as bright as the Sun. Everything under it was covered in a red hue. Cao Yun circulated his blood cultivation, using whatever Common People's Fire he had in himself. Unlike Demon God Da Mo, who was covered in his actual golden and crimson True Fire, Cao Yun's fire was literally invisible at the moment. The Common People's Fire was weak, but Cao Yun's Common People's Fire was even weaker, as he hadn't fully developed it yet as a 1st-grade Exalted Demon.
Finally, as Cao Yun was ready, he stabbed forward with all of his strength.

The screech of the Azure Dragon echoed throughout Heidai Peak. Cao Yun flew so fast toward the enemy that he created a shock wave. Many weaker cultivators felt a stabbing pain in their ears as Cao Yun broke the sound barrier.
Cao Yun's spear vibrated and rotated at the same time. The young man wasn't targeting Demon God Da Mo's heart, or even his head or throat. Strangely enough, he targeted his lower abdomen, where humans would have their Lower Dantian. For an asura, it wasn't much of a weak spot. The only real advantage was that there weren't any bones there, so his spear might pierce through his flesh more easily. However, a wound there might not affect Demon God Da Mo very much.
Despite using all of his strength, Cao Yun felt a steel wall in front of him as soon as his spear got close to Demon God Da Mo. It wasn't even Demon God Da Mo's body. The mere True Fire around Demon God Da Mo was pushing back against the young man's attack. The chains around the spear and the Black Heart Flame began to corrode the True Fire. The golden and crimson flames began to waver and dull. Although it felt extremely slow for Cao Yun, everything was happening faster than most mortals could even perceive.
The 'Dark Abyss Wrathful Serpent Spear' finally pierced through the True Fire around Demon God Da Mo. Cao Yun could feel the intense heat affecting him. In fact, the True Fire began to gather around the spear and the young man was suffering from it, but he kept on pushing forward.
When his 'Dark Abyss Wrathful Serpent Spear' touched Demon God Da Mo's skin, Cao Yun poured even more strength and used his entire Spear Heart. The young human was suddenly as large as Demon God Da Mo. He was in the image of Axiu Qian with his six arms and three faces. Cao Yun's Drop of Wrath was using all of its strength as Cao Yun's Golden Blood was flowing like a torrent within his whole body. His six arms were all wielding a 'Dark Abyss Wrathful Serpent Spear'. And all the spears were targeting the same spot. It was difficult to tell whether those spears were manifestations of Cao Yun's Spear Heart, of his Qi, of his blood, or even of the Death Energy. Most likely, they were a bit of everything at once.
At last, the spears drew some blood. Demon God Da Mo's blood was so dense and rich that it barely flowed, it just bubbled outside of his skin as the spears tried to get deeper and deeper. As soon as Demon God Da Mo's skin was pierced, Cao Yun poured his Black Heart Flame and the Death Energy he had amassed directly into the lower abdomen of his enemy.
An asura didn't have any Lower Dantian. But, like humans, they had kidneys. And their prenatal Jing was stored in those kidneys. Demon God Da Mo's prenatal Jing was exactly Cao Yun's target. The young man's goal was to turn his enemy's essence into Death Energy and to destroy him from within. With a more powerful enemy, fighting with poison of any kind was a very good idea. Although some might see it as cowardly, Cao Yun didn't care at all. He would rather avoid using poison as much as he could, but he wouldn't risk the survival of the entire Hongchen Kingdom just to feel good about a fight. This wasn't a martial arts duel, this was life and death for an entire people.
Cao Yun's attack also fully used the Black Death Prison poison already active within Demon God Da Mo's body. The giant asura felt it immediately. In fury, he tried to control his body to strike the threat. Even if he survived, damaging his prenatal Jing meant that his lifespan would be diminished. This was the worst possible outcome.
As Demon God Da Mo tried to bypass the Black Death Prison poison to strike Cao Yun, he felt a presence. The moment he felt it, it was too late. It had been dormant in his sea of consciousness since the very beginning. This enemy had watched the two elders die without doing anything. He had waited for Demon God Da Mo to be distracted and weak to strike him from within. That enemy was disgusting and perfidious. Immediately, Demon God Da Mo wanted to crush him. Unfortunately, the enemy had already caused the damage he wanted.
Mo Tian had been hidden in Demon God Da Mo's sea of consciousness as per Cao Yun's plan. In fact, Mo Tian had been hiding in plain sight. When Demon God Da Mo had sent his Demon Soul into his body, he had been unable to recognize that the sea of consciousness he was in was, in fact, Mo Tian's sea of consciousness. Indeed, the former chief elder had fully merged with the body. As such, he could gain access to the very core of Demon God Da Mo's Demon Soul. In fact, Demon God Da Mo had literally opened himself to Mo Tian. If Mo Tian had struck when Demon God Da Mo was in full control, the asura would have probably been strong enough to stop him despite the surprise. By now, though, Demon God Da Mo was completely taken aback.
Mo Tian inserted a seal into Demon God Da Mo's Demon Soul. This seal had obviously been created by Cao Yun himself. Such a seal could be used to destroy someone's Soul Embryo or someone's Demon Soul. Of course, it wouldn't necessarily work on a Demon Soul that was too powerful. However, Demon God Da Mo's Demon Soul was weakened and in pain. In other words, there was an actual chance that Cao Yun might kill his enemy. Mo Tian knew it better than anyone else. He could tell how weakened the intruder was. Indeed, Mo Tian now considered Demon God Da Mo's body as his, and the original soul of the body was thus an intruder.
"Old demon, this seal can obliterate you. You might be able to fight it off, but the young prodigy outside will deal with you nonetheless. You know that even if you win, you lose. The best you can achieve is to take your enemies out with you. But I can offer you another perspective."
At first, Demon God Da Mo only wanted to erase Mo Tian from existence. Under any other circumstances, Demon God Da Mo would not have even entertained the idea of listening to this ant. However, he had to admit that he had been tricked and trapped. Right now, Demon God Da Mo was a cornered animal. Even though it was humiliating, Demon God Da Mo listened to this human's proposal. After all, he could still obliterate him later. The only thing that mattered was to stay alive. Everything else was secondary, so Demon God Da Mo swallowed his pride. No one would hear about this because everyone would be too dead to spread the story. In fact, Demon God Da Mo would slaughter everyone who had seen this fight.
"If you're ready to listen, it's good. This was your body originally, so it will be better suited to you. However, the young human outside would be perfect for me. Unfortunately, he put seals on me. I can't turn against him at all. If someone could get rid of those seals, then I might be able to help that person. If somehow someone could take over the young man's body, the onslaught against you would stop. Besides, the young man obviously knows how to stop this Black Death Prison poison."
Mo Tian was speaking very carefully. He was afraid that the seals left behind by Cao Yun would trigger. As he talked about betraying Cao Yun, and he didn't feel any pain at all, Mo Tian got bolder and bolder. At the end, he brazenly talked about taking over Cao Yun's body entirely.
"So you want me to give you the boy's body, and you will help me protect and keep my own flesh...?!"
Demon God Da Mo hated the idea. He had to make a deal with a vile parasite, and he wouldn't win anything. In fact, Mo Tian could betray him at any moment once outside of his body. Demon God Da Mo hesitated, but he realized something.
"Are you affected by the Black Death Prison?"
"No."
Mo Tian was proud and happy as Demon God Da Mo had realized his worth. Mo Tian could actually leave the asura body. Indeed, Cao Yun had made sure that Mo Tian could survive the Black Death Prison poison as per their agreement. If Mo Tian obeyed, he had been promised that his Soul Embryo could live in the Palace of Supreme Wisdom. But Mo Tian would rather live in Cao Yun's body. With Demon God Da Mo's help, Mo Tian could strike Cao Yun while he was busy. Obviously, Mo Tian didn't plan on actually helping Demon God Da Mo. Demon God Da Mo could feel it.
In fact, both Mo Tian and Demon God Da Mo knew that the other one was already planning against their temporary ally even before they formally became allies. However, neither of them had any choice at this point. Demon God Da Mo would use Mo Tian to distract Cao Yun and try to free himself, while Mo Tian would use Demon God Da Mo to have a chance to take over Cao Yun's body. Afterwards, Mo Tian would probably try to kill Demon God Da Mo anyway.
