As the Golden Flowery Fragrance Institute was getting ready, Cao Yun visited Feng Yingyue. Director Hua had made sure that they had a large room in which to cultivate. It was completely insulated with many materials and array formations. Apart from a couple of rooms and the Eight-Heavens Seizing Cauldron itself, there was no place more isolated from the outside world than this one. Of course, Director Hua could always find out what was going on in this room, but both Cao Yun and Feng Yingyue trusted her not to be spying on them during their dual cultivation. In fact, Cao Yun also trusted Dian Mo not to do so either. During their earlier dual cultivation, Dian Mo had restrained himself.
That being said, Dian Mo had analyzed the 'Twin Flesh Furnaces, Soul Cauldron' cultivation method. Honestly, it was a very good and sound method. Most likely, if they could really push it far, they might be able to break through. Moreover, Cao Yun's cultivation was very advanced so it had the potential to help him even further. Dian Mo was almost certain that the young Feng Yingyue would become a Spirit Warrior, without a doubt. However, he couldn't be absolutely certain that Cao Yun would become a 6th-grade Spirit Warrior. He suspected he would, but couldn't be sure.
Anyway, Cao Yun entered the vast room. It was situated within an extremely large pavilion specifically meant for cultivation. All over the pavilion were various places with no other purpose than to help both cultivators and alchemists. Some were gardens with very specific flowers and plants that were able to create array formations just by their scent. Some rooms simply had array formations where several students could meditate at the same time, with a master or not. Cao Yun didn't care at all, he was only interested in this particular room.
Although it was vast, it was also completely empty. However, Cao Yun could feel a large amount of Qi that was perfectly balanced. All five elements as well as Yin and Yang were all in complete harmony. In nature, it was impossible to find such an environment. But array formations were consistently keeping this place balanced, nothing could interfere with it. Such a situation would allow the cultivators within to play around with the five elements without being disturbed by outside influences in any way, shape or form.
Since the room was empty, Cao Yun took out a bed and put it in the center of the room. Now that he was used to traveling around, he had many practical objects in his spatial ring, as well as food and water, just in case. In fact, a mortal could probably live comfortably for an entire year with no care in the world, just by using the contents of Cao Yun's spatial ring. As a Spirit Warrior, it could thus last Cao Yun several decades, maybe even a couple centuries. Considering he had the space, he had no reason not to use it...
Finally, Feng Yingyue entered the room too. The moment she entered, she took down a shawl she had on her shoulders. Beneath it, her robe was quite simple but extremely revealing. Cao Yun could barely take his eyes off of her. All of her curves were concealed but perfectly suggested by her clothes. It was a perfect mixture of revealing and leaving it up to Cao Yun's imagination. Her hair was undone, it was fluttering behind her like dancing flames. All of her movements were charming and sensual.
While Cao Yun was immobile in the center of the room, she approached him slowly. The young man couldn't look away for one moment and observed as her body moved with each one of her steps. Finally, her eyes were lost in his and they kissed. Without saying a word, their hands began to dance on each other's bodies, their lips parted but other kisses spread on their necks and shoulders.
Already, they were practicing the very first layer of 'Twin Flesh Furnaces, Soul Cauldron'.
'Twin Flesh Furnaces, Soul Cauldron' emphasized the concept of control within abandon and abandon within control. Instead of giving strict instructions, it was giving guidelines and general principles. Both partners had to let their bodies and souls play around within the constraints of those principles, but they had to always stay as free as possible. The point was to let themselves go completely, to lose themselves in their partner, in order for the energies to flow freely between them.
The main point of this method was for the bodies to be seen as furnaces while the soul was the cauldron in which energies would flow in order to produce a sweet nectar. This sweet nectar, also called Essence Fire, would then help each cultivator's cultivation. During this practice, the man would dominate Yin while the woman would control Yang. Their bodies had to produce intense Fire element within this Essence Fire, but the various movements and positions were all meant to alter the five elements within this Essence Fire. In fact, it was indeed very similar to alchemy as the flames had to take on several properties. This Essence Fire would freely move from one body to another. In fact, both bodies had to truly become one for the method to be really effective.
The first layer of 'Twin Flesh Furnaces, Soul Cauldron' was 'Opening the Paired Hearths'. It consisted of preparing both bodies. First of all, they had to be perfectly compatible. In other words, both partners had to get in the right mood. For that, there wasn't any secret technique or deep mystery, both partners were exploring each other. As the heat between them increased, they were getting more and more in the mood. But this harmonization couldn't be merely physical, it had to be deeper than that. Not only did they have to harmonize their breathing, but they also needed to harmonize the flow of energy within their meridians, the flow of their blood, all the way to their very souls.
It didn't mean that they had to be identical. In fact, it was quite the opposite. Their entire beings had to answer to one another in a perpetual dance that could never be broken. The rhythm could change, it might even become erratic at times, but neither partner could break the dance or the dual cultivation would fail. Cao Yun and Feng Yingyue let their bodies and their energies move freely against one another. As they were exploring, they naturally and instinctively began to harmonize with each other. After several hours, it was perfect.
Their flesh was already heated, as were their minds and souls. Now they could go through the crux of the 'Opening the Paired Hearths' layer. From his spatial ring, Cao Yun took out several ointments and even a few incense sticks. Those incense sticks were put in an artifact made so that once the first one was burned, it would ignite the following one. The incense sticks were different, and of various sizes. In other words, this was a kind of clock. The scents would spread through the room at specific moments.
Feng Yingyue and Cao Yun took off more of their clothes and began to massage each other with ointments. Skin against skin, they could feel the heat increasing with each passing moment. As the scents were mixing with their sweat and the ointments and oils, all of their senses were stimulated.
At first, 'Opening the Paired Hearths' focused on the Huiyin in order to fully activate the pre-natal Jing. This was the pure essence of sexual energy. Indeed, this pre-natal Jing was not only the Jing given by the parents during the conception, but also the foundation of what parents would give to their children at conception. Of course, it would also mix with post-natal Jing during conception, but without pre-natal Jing, it was impossible to give birth. A lack of pre-natal Jing could be a cause of infertility.
Although Feng Yingyue had a very subtle and delicate perception, Cao Yun was much more receptive to his own Jing thanks to his blood cultivation. In a matter of minutes, he could feel his Golden Fate fully active as heat radiated throughout his lower abdomen. In fact, he could feel it was creating a sensation very similar to what mastering his Common People's Fire was supposed to feel like in the 1st-grade Exalted Demon stage.
With passion and abandon, both partners were working on each other, until both could feel the heat start to rise through their flesh. Slowly, they moved up to the Middle Dantian in order to activate the Fire Qi in their chest. More caresses, kisses, and various stimuli caused their Fire Qi to boil. Feng Yingyue who was very close to the Lesser Tribulation felt intense heat throughout her chest. Her delicate skin was already pink, even a bit red here and there. This wasn't just Cao Yun's actions, but the very 'Twin Flesh Furnaces, Soul Cauldron' method.
In fact, their bodies were so heated that their own sweat began to sizzle. A bit of water vapor started to spread around them. In a sense, they were quite literally smoking. This smoke mixed with the scents of the incense and the oils. Even the ointments and oils were sizzling a little. This was the first clash between Fire and Water. As this clash was happening outside, Feng Yingyue began to sense it happening within too.
As her Fire Qi had been activated to its limit, it swallowed more and more Fire from both herself and Cao Yun. The heat generated by the two of them had already increased her own Fire Qi. And, as a consequence, it had chased more and more Water Qi out. Naturally, the Water Qi had fallen into her Lower Dantian. Under the intense heat and the Fire Qi blocking any way to go up, her Water Qi was starting to condense in her Lower Dantian.
Both condensations were happening at the same time and feeding one another. Very soon, her Lower Dantian and Middle Dantian began to crystallize even without her doing anything at all. As Cao Yun was stimulating her, and she was stimulating him, they were already exchanging Water and Fire. Unfortunately, both of them were rich in Fire, much more than in Water. Thankfully though, Cao Yun and Feng Yingyue had great control over Fire as alchemists. Moreover, Cao Yun had the Rune of Fire and now the Solar-Orchid Flame. Hopefully, Fire wouldn't be a problem. Still, Water Qi was flowing from Cao Yun into Feng Yingyue in order to try and balance out her Middle Dantian.
For the moment, though, it was still only the preparation step of the actual dual cultivation. Even after more than twelve hours, they were still harmonizing their bodies. By that point, both of them were red with heat and excitement. Cao Yun and Feng Yingyue could feel their blood pulsating throughout their bodies. In particular, Cao Yun's Golden Blood that was so rich and dense was almost playing drums in his veins. All around the two lovers, there was now a small cloud formed by their own sweat and the vaporized oils. The scents were mixing but not clashing, thanks to the incense sticks prepared beforehand.
Already, they could feel the effect of the 'Twin Flesh Furnaces, Soul Cauldron' method. Indeed, their blood was tempering their flesh, just as the heated cloud around them was also licking their skin and penetrating their superficial flesh. Of course, the effects were very negligible for Cao Yun who had gone far through his blood cultivation, but they were quite good and welcome for Feng Yingyue.
The Essence Fire was complete at last. Indeed, they could feel it spread, coiling like a snake all around their organs. It was radiating from their loins toward their Lower Dantian. Both of their pre-natal Jing was fueling this Essence Fire without being consumed by it.
As they kissed deeply, their bodies were almost as one. Then, they could start the second layer of their dual cultivation, 'Soul-Steam Circulation'. Finally, their bodies could truly melt into one another and only be one. Their hands were grabbing the other's backs as they became one. The dance between their bodies was ever-changing, it was sometimes slow and tender, sometimes incredibly rapid and violent. They were kissing, moaning, biting, caressing, stroking, scratching. It was total chaos and abandon and yet there was control. Within a certain framework, they could completely let go.
The Essence Fire from Cao Yun spread into Feng Yingyue's Essence Fire. They coiled around each other and exploded. Several times, they collided. Cao Yun was giving the Yin aspect of his Essence Fire while Feng Yingyue's Yang aspect was accepting it. This was exactly the same principle that could lead to conceiving children, but it wasn't the point of the method of course. Unless Cao Yun and Feng Yingyue wanted it, they could not accidentally produce a child considering their current cultivation.
As their energies were melting into one another, their bodies were moving and colliding according to specific principles as though they were answering that inward clash. Indeed, by moving their bodies in certain ways, they were forcing the energy in their bodies to circulate along specific meridians. With their knowledge of alchemy, they didn't need to be overly conscious about anything. It was almost instinctual, but they were altering the five elements within both of their Essence Fires to make the melting easier and easier. The two partners could distinctly hear, but also feel, the other's heartbeat, the pulsation of their blood, but also the flow of energy within them. Cao Yun and Feng Yingyue were feeling each other with all of their flesh.
Deep within Cao Yun's heart, he felt the seed of the Solar-Orchid Flame. It was pulsating in a strange manner at first. But the young man began to recognize this rhythm. Indeed, this was the same rhythm that pressed against his heaving chest. It was literally Feng Yingyue's heartbeat. The seed was reacting to Feng Yingyue.
