Chapter 85 - Despite one's self

.

"Finally," AFO smiled and laughed, "Let's have some fun!" And a wave of people charged him.

.

As AFO roared in joy, Gigantomachia was already charging Six before the rest. Six just calmly stored the Power Armor and waited for Gigantomachia to close in. Once he was close, Six dashed in and jumped up as Gigantomachia swung a massive arm at Six. Six grabbed onto the arm and used it to vault directly towards Gigantomachia's head. Gigantomachia was mid-roar when he watched Six throw several things into his mouth. To him, they were just pebbles that couldn't do anything.

Unfortunately, that was his last thought as those 'pebbles' exploded in his mouth. Rendering his insides into goo and ash in an instant.

What Six had thrown were several [Nuka-Grenades]. Each one was the equivalent of a small [Mini-Nuke]. And Six threw five while remembering the first rule of fighting: keep your mouth closed unless you wanted something put in it.

As Six landed in a three-point role, he came up with a [Laser-Minigun] already spinning up. Unleashing the might of the minigun, he erased several enemies in the span of three seconds as they charged him. AFO looked on in amusement as his pawns became ash as they still charged forth. Knowing that Six's weapon would soon run out of ammunition.

What they didn't expect was for Six to spin and change weapons once the one he had ran dry. Completing the spin, Six pulled out a [Custom SMMG] he lovingly called {Meat Masher}. {Meat Masher} was a .50 caliber shoulder-mounted minigun with armor-piercing incendiary rounds fed through the intake. Dropping to a knee, Six aimed the {Meat Masher} and held the trigger down.

The beast roared in fury and spit lead that started to superheat the air in front of it. Round after round of armor-piercing incendiary ammunition tore through person after person with indifferance of who was male or female. Body parts flew, blood splattered, and people died before they touched the ground or even realized it.

This wasn't a battle, AFO noted. This was a slaughter.

AFO watched in grim horror as Six was already standing on Death Mountain as its king. And that mountain was only growing taller. He watched as those who didn't want to die either lay down or duck into the nearby buildings to hide away from the rain of death. AFO watched as his army was gone before he even realized that.

AFO stood there, using a piece of rubble as a shield to block the rain of fire that Six was unleashing. Once the sound died off, AFO waited a few seconds before he dropped the rubble. Once he did, he found a sight that would even make the Devil sick. Even he was doing his best to keep the contents of his stomach in.

As for Six, he waded through the gore as if it were a Sunday stroll. That's when AFO remembered his days when he was learning about the human mind. The Ego and id. This was Six's id controlling his body right now, caring less about the morals the Ego would be trying to use.

.

'He's more evil than I am,' AFO realized far too late as he watched Six stomp on a disembodied head, crushing it. 'This is him when there is nothing left for him to gain and everything to lose. I have to get out of here; I can't die here. Not yet.'

"What's wrong?" Six called out to AFO, "Scared of little old me?" he mocked.

"Even I am human enough to admit it," AFO spoke. "I'm not afraid to say I'm scared. But at least I'm human. Unlike you."

"No, I'm human," Six called back. "Just like you."

"No, even I know better than to have senseless slaughter," AFO argued. "But you, you left everything to your id. The monster that hides inside of us all. You unleashed that monster."

"True," Six agreed, "But you were the one to make me unleash it." Pointing a finger at AFO

Willow watched on in horror as Six unleashed his id. As for Mitsuki and Inko, Inko had passed out from the gore, and Mitsuki vomited from the sheer amount of dead bodies. Nezu, who was with them, stood still with his fur on end. He had heard about the infamous id, but to see it in action was a thing of fear for him. He had hoped that he wouldn't need to deploy the one thing that Six had made in case he had gone rogue.

It appeared that it would be necessary.

Nezu then walked off, going to get Disaster ready to activate the failsafe. Not knowing that Disaster was already on it. As for Willow, she just stood there, hoping that Six was still in there somewhere. Mitsuki and Inko were unable to look at their husband anymore.

However, there were a few who still saw Six as he was before. Veronica and Christine understood the need to dispose of one's enemies so that they wouldn't be a problem later. But Katsuki and Izuku saw what the others didn't: Six was scared. Scared of losing everything again; scared of being alone again.

Despite the helmet blocking Six's face from being seen, the two brothers knew. They knew that he was shaking in fear on the inside. The only reason he was acting like that was due to fear.

And they won't let him be alone in this.

So, Katsuki and Izuku jumped down from the flying fortress of UA and directly into the streets flowing with blood and gore. As they landed, they grimaced and began to trudge through the gore to their father. Unwilling to let him stand alone anymore.
