Rick and Gunka now standing in one of the arena that is available in the field.
"do you want to use any weapon? we have many variety of weapon here" said Gunka as he approach one of the weapon rack on the side of the arena. he look at the weapon available for a little bit and then take a spear.
"i am fine with only my hand and leg. i don't need extra weapon" said Rick as he doing some stretching to warm up his muscle.
"oh then i suggest you wear these pair of gloves and boots. they are enchanted so you don't need to worry about them being not your size." said Gunka as he take a pair of both gloves and boots.
"why should i wear it? i mean no offence but i am comfortable as i am now." said Rick.
"well i don't know about your place, but here our training weapon is enchanted to avoid fatal wound. so we can fight with all of our ability without being afraid of killing someone." said Gunka as he carries the gloves and boots for Rick
"and the enchantment will not work if one of us not wearing training weapon. so please wear this and get used to it for a bit. else i am afraid i can't spar with you seriously." Gunka said again with mischievous grin on his face.
"fine." said Rick as he wear the gloves and boots.
after he put both the gloves and boots, Rick heard a click in his head and suddenly, the gloves and boots not only resize itself to Rick size but also change shape a bit.
the gloves turn a bit thin, like a butler gloves, while the boots become a pair of pantopel shoes.
"oh, what a nice item. and it even feels the same as the one i wear back at work." said Rick in low voice as he tried to move a bit with the new equipment.
"are you ready?" said Gunka as he turn to his stance.
his legs form horse stance with right leg in front while his spear is placed horizontally behind his head, safe and ready on both his hand.
"sure, shall we start?" said Rick as he turn info a boxing pose.
two arms in front of his chest with right leg in front.
they stare at each other in silent. not a single muscle move. not even a twitch.
then Gunka take the first approach as he push forward. his first step using left leg is normal but then he push himself with his right leg that shorten the distance very fast. in response Rick take fast small step while zigzag-in .
as Rick enter Gunka strike zone, Gunka launch his first attack by slamming the back of his spear from above. Rick easily avoid it by moving a bit to the left and then hasten his step to reach closer distance.
seeing Rick get so close to himself, Gunka spin himself and then deliver a straight kick. Rick once again move to the left, made Gunka kick pass harmlessly and then deliver a strong right hook to Gunka stomach, follow by fast left hook and then right uppercut that lift Gunka body up a bit before he fall back.
Gunka get back up immediately then shake his head.
"wow i felt that one. you sure know how to fight.
then i will get more serious now!"
then Gunka take his stance once more, but this time he position his spear straight up in front of him.
"sure, i will also get serious" said Rick as he take different stance.
Rick now also use horse stance. his right hand ready behind his back while his left hand ready straight up in front of his face.
at the same time, both Rick and Gunka charge at each other. Gunka moves consist of wide swipe and heavy down strike. Gunka attack is full of power and with intention to kill, even when the weapon is especially enchanted to avoid killing.
Rick responded with the same power and vigor. with full power fist and kick, Rick always slip through Gunka attack and deliver his own deadly strike. but this time is not as easy as before as Gunka actually have enough reflex to dodge Rick short ranged attack.
they both trade attack and defence for multiple times. even Rick can't always dodge Gunka attack and have to actually divert some attack with his hand or leg.
"wow you are good at this. now let's end this spar with our best move! " shout Gunka as he gather his inner power in his spear.
unfortunately, Rick can't see inner power yet and only see Gunka make a pose. so Rick prepare himself to use his killing move.
"be ready and receive my technique,
Hurricane Spear! "
as Gunka announce his move, he made a thrust with spinning motion for the spear. but the distance is too far. so far that Rick got confuse why Gunka announcing his move from that distance. but a second later, a twister of wind with glowing image of spear hurl right to Rick position. Rick is so shocked that he forget to move and get swept by the horizontal hurricane. and after a few second of torture by sharp wind blade and twist, Rick body is thrown to the edge of the arena.
confused and barely conscious, Rick blurry vision got a glimpse of Gunka worried face before he finally lost Consciousness.
