Ronan Kendrick waved dismissively. "I'm fine. Everyone, get out of here. This place is about to collapse."
"Let's get out of here," Evelyn Ford said, coiling the rope and pulling Ronan Kendrick forward by the hand.
Once they were over two hundred meters from the stone bridge, Evelyn Ford brought out the RV and had everyone get on to change their clothes.
"Evelyn Ford, is Ronan Kendrick's injury serious?"
"If it hit bone, that's serious. They say it takes a hundred days to recover from an injury to the bone. We can't let him drive."
Evelyn Ford nodded. "I'll tend to his injury in a bit. Everyone, get on board for now."
Evelyn Ford took off her raincoat and rain boots before opening the door and getting into the RV. She was so worried about Ronan Kendrick's injury that she didn't even think to ask how the others were doing.
Pulling a curtain aside, Evelyn Ford immediately took Ronan Kendrick into the space.
"Let me see where you were hit."
