The Imperial Capital of Chang'an in the Tang Empire now barely shows any sign of war, and people here are busily making the city better with their efforts.
The streets are spotless, with water trucks having just passed by. People dressed in sweaters walk along both sides of the roads, where cars are jammed together, waiting for the traffic lights to change.
From any angle, this is now a prosperous modern city, even though some places might not be perfect. Overall, it is definitely the most beautiful city in the world.
However, Chang'an is large, but not easy to live in. The capital of the Tang Empire is not very friendly to outsiders. The housing prices here are insanely high, and the cost of living is unimaginably higher than in other places.
On one side of the already very congested streets, blue construction barriers enclose a large area, with excavating machines working amidst the roar of engines.
