Malachi placed the kitten on top of his bed.
She yawned cutely and curled up on the pillow as if it were her rightful place.
"As long as you're comfortable…"
Malachi moved to the bathroom after making sure the kitten wouldn't fall off the bed.
Once inside, he didn't bother turning on the lights and went straight to the shower.
He turned the water on the hottest setting before telling his clothes to disrobe.
His first attempt to step into the shower resulted in him bumping his wings into the wall.
"Oh, yeah, this won't be annoying at all…" he grumbled.
Mal looked toward the westernmost wall, where a small panel was embedded.
"Computer, expand the space of the shower by fifteen…" Malachi paused and analyzed his unnecessarily large wings. "…Make that thirty percent."
There was a trilling noise, and suddenly the ground underneath Malachi shifted slightly.
In a couple of seconds, the entryway into the shower was expanded considerably, as well as the inside.
