An otaku from earth reincarnates as the “protagonist” of an eroge. Cecil Skyfall, an effeminate young man with a face that would make even goddesses envious. In the game, he is the older brother of the REAL hero, Elaine. In order to protect his sister from the demons hunting her he pretended to be the hero. He wandered around the land braving all sorts of dangers under the banner of the hero in order to attract the attention of the demons(at the same time creating a large amount of fan service for the player). With a lot of hard work determination (and endless r-18 sex scenes). It worked a bit too well. In the end he was captured and tortured by a demon general. Luckily he held out long enough for his sister to become strong enough to defeat the demon king. Unfortunately by that time his mind had long since been Broken beyond repair. 
With the knowledge of his past life and his cheat as a reincarnator, Cecil must try his best to survive in this world that seems determined to fuck and mind break him.
