" Good morning beautiful " Gold said while looking at her and Night did the same but she was more amazed with how he was acting around her than his morning charm that came like a ray of sunshine.
It felt different when she was no longer acting all sour and tough the world was more bright and warm.
She felt more alive when she had finally let go of her bitterness and decided to give them a chance, this time she was trying to give herself a chance too.
A chance to live, a chance to be happy and cared for.
She was now free and open to normal way of living, though they were not all close but at least she was not trying to stay away from him.
" mmh good morning" Night replied softly her eyes blinked a few times before averting her gaze from him less he saw her inner vulnerability.
Gold was so happy more than he could express it on his face though she hadn't accepted his feelings yet but at least she was not staying away from him and finally she had given him a chance which he was going to utilise effectively this time, he was going to do everything, his plan to make her fall for him was soon to be into effect unless she had changed preference she was sure to be charmed.
Looking at busy Night, Gold felt blissful he allowed her to do everything she wanted while he quietly observe, she had gone to take a shower and then prepare herself for the day.
Although he would have liked to join her in her rituals he knew better not to cross the line he knew she wouldn't be comfortable to do more after all it hadn't been long and they had agreed to be patient with each other and try to see if they could keep their relationship, Gold was going to do just that and let everything happen according to the flow despite the crawling impatience.
Night was now nervous to change her clothes in the same room with him still watching, weird as it is she was never this way changing clothes in his presence was not a big deal for her before but now she could hardly do it in his presence, so she opted for more privacy, the wardrobe chamber was enough to change clothes without having any discomfort, Night could have used it for her convenience, all the time she had done just that and most of the time she could careless about him or what he would think.
But weirdly she couldn't do it in front of him anymore and instead choose to change them inside the bathroom.
That was one of the changes Gold noticed and inwardly rejoice he thought that at least Night was reacting to his presence and not treating him as a mere porcelain.
Now she was at least paying attention to his presence, he had realized that the reason Night would do her things without caring that he was there was not because she was too shameless but rather because he was nonexistent to her.
His presence affected her not and so was his absence but seeing her reacting like that today assured him that at least she acknowledge his presence in her life and was no longer treating him like a wall.
And it was a good news to him which he accepted with an open hopeful heart, it was just a matter of time.
After about half an hour later they were both ready and got down to the dinning table to have breakfast although they were late the food was as good as they wanted.
Looks like the man was very clever and knew how to do things according to situation.
Today they had come down together that is the change they noticed and not just that there was harmonic atmosphere around them that they have never seen before not since the couple got married.
Night was too quiet and seem to appreciate everything he was doing for her from helping her take a seat to serving her dishes.
While their master seem happy and had a bright aura all the time, this was probably the first time they had seen him like that.
He was not all cold and serious instead he seem approachable right now as he was busy serving food to Night.
Night was kinda of feeling embarrassed and uneasy not that she didn't like the food or how he was serving her, she was just feeling awkward as she was not used to have someone other than her close family take care of her.
She was finding it hard to get used to such treatment from him.
" what's wrong? don't you like the food?" Gold asked Night who was suddenly absent-minded while looking at the little mountain of food created by Gold.
" ah! No ...not really I just " Night said looking at her plate and then looked at the gentle look he had on his face that was making him look different from his usual cold and aloof self.
Hearing her words Gold looked at her and seem to want to hear more from her since she didn't look okay like her usual self.
" Just?" He asked as he wanted clear explanation from her.
" I just find all these umh! a bit awkward for me, it kind difficult to cope with " Night answered honestly in low voice but he clearly heard her and smiled as he understood her.
" All these you mean?" Gold asked and Night only remained silent as she was sure he had clearly understood what she was talking about.
Looking at her Gold had a small smile and satisfied look.
" Well if it about showing my affection to you then there is nothing that I can do however I can tell you one thing,"
" Get used to it because this is just the beginning there is more coming" Gold said calmly and Night only swallowed in as she understood what he meant.
Sure things were going to change between them especially now that she had decided to give him a chance in her life.
