The decisive battle between Great Zhou and Great Shang began in Mu Ye.
This battle was so fierce that the sky darkened, the sun and moon stained with blood, countless creatures dead and scattered across fields, a sight too grievous to bear, far more brutal than the previous sacrificial war between the Human Race and the Myriad Races.
Eventually, relying on the support of the Myriad Races, the Great Zhou Alliance Army obliterated the last bit of Great Shang's Primordial Energy, annihilating millions of troops and causing numerous former Great Shang Emperors and Elders to fall.
After this battle, Great Shang no longer had the strength to hold off the advancing Great Zhou Alliance Army, retreating at last to the Great Shang Imperial City of Chao Ge.
Shang Tang's successor, Zi Xin, stood atop the city walls of Chao Ge, his face grim as he gazed down at the millions-strong Alliance Army.
