Arriving at the airport, the students were guided towards the place where Roxanne's private planes were placed. In fact, this airport was Roxanne's private airport. But unlike some spoiled young masters and young mistresses who would keep private airports idle and burn money continuously, Roxanne, as a businessman, did something different.

She only kept a large part of the airport to keep her private jets, planes, helicopters, and such, while renting out a portion of the place to the supernatural society. And unexpectedly, this airport became very popular quickly.

The reason for this is due to three reasons. For one, human transportation is suited for humans, not supernatural beings. For some supernatural beings, planes are too slow and boring. But Roxanne solved these problems by using her authority over the void and some magic to shorten the journey and be at least 10 times faster than a normal plane. In addition to the service she offers at the airport, one could say that the plane ticket is actually very cheap and worth it.

Secondly, some supernatural beings who can't shapeshift or cannot appear in crowded places are unable to use public transportation methods. So these guys mostly use teleportation circles or travel by foot and by other means. So for such supernatural beings, Roxanne offered private rooms in the plane where they could be isolated from the world and would not be disturbed.

And lastly, the most obvious reason why this airport became popular is that the planes here can travel through different realms. Usually, normal supernatural beings would not be able to exist or travel through different realms without having connections and enough strength. But with Roxanne's connections, she managed to make travel between inter-realms possible.

Of course, there would be a very thorough inspection and customs to ensure no criminals would use this to flee their confinement.

But nonetheless, this move of hers allowed the supernatural beings to communicate better with each other, and many other business opportunities, such as trade, appeared. Furthermore, this move of hers allowed those ignorant young masters to go out and see the world instead of going black due to utter boredom.

Fact had proven her method was working, as in the last few years, those people who joined dark forces had reduced considerably. Especially the low-level and mid-level combat forces, who mostly join wanting to get a job.

Those guys can now come to the human world and get a job and work honestly. They wouldn't need to work their ass off doing things that could get them killed.

And of course, to manage the sudden increase in labor force, Roxanne had to start a few more companies that would hire these supernatural beings. Otherwise the humans would really lose their jobs due to the high performances a supernatural being is capable of doing.

….

The students all boarded the airplane in an orderly manner. These poor bums were shocked at all the luxurious goods they saw every few meters. Had it not been for the teachers, some would actually try to smuggle something away. Speaking of some teachers, they were also tempted, but unfortunately, the lines of bodyguards on each side made neither the teachers nor the students dare make any moves.

These bodyguards were here to send off Roxanne and also to maintain security. Since this place is a place where various supernatural beings gather, Roxanne was half expecting some troublemakers to pop out and cause a scene.

Unfortunately, it seems the troublemakers have decided to make trouble after they arrive in Kyoto.

'Speaking of which, since they are now going to Kyoto, should I also go there for a visit? ' Roxanne thought as she frowned deeply.

If she didn't say hello even after coming so close, those guys would definitely make a fuss.

But if she goes there, then the mess that would happen in Kyoto would become more chaotic.

'Oh well, who cares? A little excitement would do no harm anyway. 'She finally shrugged her shoulders and decided to let nature take its course. After all, at the end of the day, it isn't her who would have a headache.

She would just do her best in cleaning up the pests who would come knocking. Speaking of pests, would that so-called hero faction really come making trouble now that their big boss is in prison?

Logically speaking, those guys should be keeping a low profile now that they have become the weakest faction in the Khoas Brigade. But since heroes were never to think logically, Roxanne is half expecting those guys to come make some trouble.

After all, Japan still has many sealed deities who would cause major headaches for the alliance. If those guys come out of their sealed chambers and decide to join the Hero faction, then things would get really interesting.

….

The airplane trip to Kyoto was a very memorable trip for the students in Kouh Academy. Some of these students here are those who had gone on an airplane before, but even then, they were amazed at how luxurious the journey is.

The air hostesses were all maids who were top beauties. They even wore cat-girl ornaments and spoke like a cat-girl, which was every man's dream. With these cat-girls providing service to the horny teenagers, the rest of the journey was very smooth.

The service was so great that some students even considered staying on the airplane instead of going to Kyoto.

But unfortunately, their willfulness ended when teacher Rossweisse dragged them away. She also didn't forget to give a look of surprise towards the nekomata girls.

Yes, Rossweisse recognized these girls the instant she saw them. And this is why she was surprised. As far as she knows, the nekomata tribe was wiped out by the devils due to a past mistake they made. And even now, there is a bounty on this race on the black market.

So she was really surprised that a group of nekomata girls would appear in the open like this. But after thinking about it for a while, Rossweisse thought it would be natural. After all, this place is Roxanne's territory. No one would be stupid enough to make an enemy of the Shadow Garden just for some money.

After that little episode, the students exited the airport and once again boarded another bus that was waiting for them. But this time, Roxanne didn't go with them.

Giving the excuse that she needed to go and see if everything was ready for tomorrow's tour, Roxanne got in her prepared sports car, which is a Toyota GR Supra, and drove away under the envious eyes of the crowd who wished they were in her place.

Roxanne drove through the Kyoto streets with practiced ease since most cars would give way for her. In just 25 minutes of reckless driving, Roxanne arrived at her destination.

It was a shrine, tucked away behind a canopy of ancient cryptomeria trees. Unlike the sprawling, tourist-clogged complexes like Kiyomizu-dera, this one felt small, almost forgotten, yet imbued with a palpable sense of power. The air here was colder and hushed, smelling sharply of incense and wet stone.

The approach was marked by a plain, weathered stone torii, the color of old bone, standing sentry at the foot of a long, moss-covered staircase. The path up was lined by flickering stone lanterns (tōrō), their paper windows glowing softly in the twilight gloom. At the top of the stairs stood the main hall (haiden), a structure of heavy, dark wood built centuries ago, its roof tiles dusted with green patina. A thick shimenawa rope—the sacred braided straw—was strung across the entrance, indicating the barrier between the mortal world and the divine.

Roxanne stepped out of the car, the roar of the engine dying instantly in the unnatural quiet. She then locked her car and walked along the pathway. Arriving at the shrine entrance, she stopped.

She swiped her hand in the air, and a crack in space appeared. She pushed her hand inside and, after a while, retracted it. Inside her hands, there was a gold medal that had the shape of a nine-tailed fox carved on top with some ancient Japanese characters inscribed.

She hung the medal on her neck and then walked towards the shrine. As soon as she took a few steps inside, the shadows swallowed her, and she disappeared from plain sight.
