The blue rays that had been hovering before the king's eyes disappeared. He turned and saw the red universe addressing the girl Akemi:
Red Universe: "Oh, Queen of the palace, the blue rays have vanished. Do I live now in your time?"
Akemi: "Yes, you ride the red cloud with me. But how did you survive and escape your own time? Maybe something happened in the village. Did my sister hear my voice, or did she feel it? These rays can only be removed by water vapor. Look above us—have the white clouds formed? If they have, we can call them to lift us from the center of the red cloud. But maybe they are only illusions… because if the blue cloud does not appear, we are still lost."
King: "Red, blue, white clouds… I don't understand."
Akemi: "If the blue cloud arrives, we'll be halfway back. Then we must pass through the black cloud. After that, white clouds full of water will appear, and we'll fall into the seas."
King: "Again I will fall into the sea? I escaped it once, but this time I will drown!"
Akemi: "And what about me?"
King: "You are the queen, and you will become a mermaid."
Akemi: laughing "You jest. I will marry you."
King: "And the pilot?"
Akemi: "He will disappear, for the sea rejoices in kings."
King: laughing "But the sea devours arrogant kings."
Akemi: "Still, we are on a mission to save the world."
King: "Yes… rivers, valleys, seas, trees, and animals will celebrate us. And if no one ever finds you, we will be bride and groom beneath the sea—and life will go on for all."
