They all walked a long way until they fell asleep. The two sisters and the pilot, Shnemo, slept while the guards remained awake.
Suddenly, the light in the tunnel went out. The guards turned on their flashlights and shouted: "The enemy is coming! Captain, wake up!"
The commander woke abruptly, shouting: "Oh my God, it's dark again! What is happening? Did someone attack us?"
But the guards assured him: "We searched and found no one."
The pilot, Shnemo, quietly woke the girls.
The two sisters woke up screaming: "Pilot, where are you?"
Kasha held her sister Amini, who was crying, and whispered: "I'm afraid of the dark." Kasha calmed her down, saying: "Don't be afraid. Only a little farther, and we'll be with the maid."
The guards advanced a few steps, when suddenly the ground began to shake. They ran back, shouting: "Commander, stop! The ground is shaking in front of us!"
The commander told them: "A tunnel will open. We are in the same area where we started from the beginning."
Kasha turned to him and said: "This area may be Aunt Shukra's house. I heard your voices when you were on the roof, while we were still in the tunnel. The maid's room is next to hers."
Amini's hands were trembling. Her sister Kasha noticed and asked: "What's wrong, my sister? You are very afraid."
Amini replied: "I fear that the whirlpool window will appear and take us into the unknown — just as it took the king of the palace."
