The Special Forces fell into the large crack while stuck in the middle of it. As for the pilot, Shenmue, he fell into a dark tunnel beneath the cracks. He lit his flashlight and began walking inside, moving the light up and down. He walked a distance under the houses and heard frightening sounds that seemed to clash.
Voices called out to rid the world of malicious forces, while others called to save the world from nuclear bombs.
He heard voices calling for the girl Akemi, saying, "O good voices, get ready, let's go to the girl—she's trapped."
The pilot, Shenmue, thought those voices meant his girlfriend, so he started shouting, "Kasha! Kasha! Where are you?"
The pilot felt relieved, saying, "It's a great idea. I have to walk and keep shouting."
After some time, the pilot sat down, tired from walking. He was sitting right under the door of his aunt's house. The conflicting voices began to scream even louder until cracks opened at the top of the tunnel. Defeated souls entered the space.
They screamed, "They kicked us out! Why did the world forsake us?"
The pilot, Shenmue, asked them, "Who are you? Were you killed in a massacre?"
Malicious Souls replied, "We are the voices that have done no service to humanity. They scrutinized us and taught us that we are corrupt. We were committing devilish deeds."
Pilot: "Where are you going?"
Malicious Souls: "To Hell."
The pilot told himself, "I have to hurry and get out of this place; their fire will burn me."
