The two of them tidied up and went downstairs together.
When they arrived at the fresh market, Rose Shaw was a bit bewildered. She usually went to a supermarket if she needed to buy groceries, so this was completely different from what she had imagined.
Keith Coleman glanced at Rose Shaw and smiled. "What do you want to buy?"
"I... was going to make a pork rib soup or something." Rose Shaw's plans were in complete disarray.
"Follow me." Keith Coleman led the way.
Rose Shaw hurried to follow. She watched as Keith Coleman browsed the various stalls before finally stopping at one.
"How much are the yams?"
"Twelve."
"That expensive?"
"These are top-grade and very nourishing. Look at how badly you're injured. They're perfect for a pork rib soup to help you get your strength back."
"How about ten?"
The vendor glanced at Keith Coleman, his eyes holding a hint of sympathy. "Fine, fine. Ten it is!"
"I'll take this one."
