Raymond Ford was speechless. From what Claire Ross had just said, he could tell she had really found evidence.
'So many years have passed. How could she still find evidence?!'
"Raymond Ford, I don't think there's any need for us to meet. It's time you paid your debts!"
The call disconnected. Raymond Ford sat there in a daze, completely at a loss.
He quickly called Claire Ross again.
When Claire Ross saw the number, she frowned but answered anyway.
"Claire Ross, I'm sorry. Please, give me a way out, won't you?"
"Sorry? Raymond Ford, don't you think your apology has come a little too late?" Claire Ross retorted softly. "I always knew it was you, but I just didn't have any proof. Raymond Ford, just how black can a person's heart get? In all these years, have you ever felt any guilt for what you did?"
